Shrek cups from mcdonalds. You got them? Don't use them.
This morning I'm babysitting for my sister(who is a manger of some sort at mcdonalds) and she called me and told me to pack up all of the shrek cups they had.

Apparently they have something in them that can cause softening of the bones and all kinds of lovely things.

They're being recalled so really DO NOT USE THEM!

These cups contain cadmium which can cause bone softening and kidney failure.

No injuries reported yet (but its rather soon after so...keep an ear out). Reports are that the glasses contain just slightly over the protective amount of cadmiun safe for consumption. The glasses are being recalled as a safety measure so no one gets ill.

So! If you intend to use them. Don`t.

There's a chemical in the paint of the glasses from Mc Donalds that can cause harm over time. I can't remember what it was called. But to a collector the cups just got a reason to increase in value.

But to anyone who would use them to drink from... This has proven to be a wise warning. thanks!!
