For many years magic and it's like was looked down upon, called sorcery and believed to be the creation of evil forces. It was not until later that such beliefs were suppressed and the world began to move forward.
During the Victorian era in Europe, a mysterious man named Mr. En A. Ookami came to London and there, in a single night, constructed a small magic shop on the corner of a street off the main street where the many carriages and people trodded. A more peaceful lane where the school children passed each day to school. From his windows the treasures of his trove could be seen. Many unique items of rarity. There were no organized shelves or price tags, merely trinkets sorted in several piles upon the displays and tables. Any child could browse through, but it's price was to be chosen by the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper Mr. En was a bizarre character, nearly always hidden in the backroom of the store with his two aides, twins, a boy and a girl with green hair managing his shop from the counter. The only way ordinary people even knew of his existence was when the twins spoke to him through the copper pipes that ran into the backroom.
Yet on a rare occasion, Mr. En would show his face before a particular customer and to them he would grant an item of true magical potential. The adults who despised the thought of magic or fantasy, believed them to be cursed items, for nearly every person gifted one of these trinkets was met with disaster, tragedy, and death. Yet the curiousity of others did not end with Mr. En or the strange deaths. For those daring ones who snuck into the store's backroom, none had ever returned. Perhaps they were lost in the great expanse created by the magician's magic, for his backroom contained a total of six-hundred and sixty-six rooms. Held behind the final door at the back of the last corridor was a great dark magic. What might lie behind door 666, and exactly who is Mr. En. All shall be discovered in time.

Personality: Mysterious, patient, and wise; Mr. En's entire character is both unique and filled with mystery. Not only his personality, but his motives are also questionable. He is commonly seen with a smile and seems patient and ready to listen to anyone's pleas. He also tends to give advice to others or weave words together that give vague answers that are not always direct, but he never lies.
Biography: Mr. En is a magician of high calibur with a creepy appearance accompanied by his unusually cheerful and carefree personality. Little is known about him, other than the fact that he owns a small magic shop that sells cheap palor tricks and tarot cards. His store is filled with one-of-a-kind items, though only the objects he personally grants to people actually possess any magical potential.
The back room of his shop is a large labyrinth of corridors and doors, possessing a total of 666 doors, many of which display warnings. It is unknown exactly what is behind each door as the labyrinth rearranges itself at each hour. Some doors may lead to deadly traps, others may lead to strange worlds or to special rooms, while still others may simply be empty rooms or common closets to confuse wanderers.
The most dangerous rooms in his shop seem to be any room labeled 501 or above with the final door, room 666, being off-limits to anyone. It is currently unknown what is behind this door.
Mr. En appears to have several powers, such as the ability to shapeshift or move objects at will. He also has many magical devices that he uses, such as a crystal ball to oversee the shop or magical copper tubes to project his voice to the two twins who manage the front desk. He also appears to have cat ears and a tail, which he hides when he leaves the shop, but this appears to be a part of his true form.
