Reasons why the rank would fit them? His name means "no pain", and that is what he strives to give to others, an absence from pain.
Personality?: Kunai is very empathetic to the pain and suffering of others. It troubles him deeply to see and know that others are dealing with things he could help with. He is a serious sort, without much of a sense of humor. It isn't that he despises jokes or anything, they simply roll right over him. The most you are likely to get from him is a weak smile before he goes on about his business. He works tirelessly every day to try and take away the pain of every patient, now that he has arrived. His dedication to the pride and its members will never be in doubt, and even should the goddess lift her 'blessing', he would not leave them.
Brief History?: He was an accomplished healer in another (npc) pride, but when he heard rumors of the diseased pride, he packed up his stuff and left his old life behind. Even though he figured he would find his old life quite cushy before long, he had no desire to return. He came to K'A to help people heal, or at least alleviate their symptoms.

IC Reason for Leaving: Loosing her mother only days after the birth of the litter, and through cubhood and juvenile, loosing friends, family and pride members, this young female simply couldn't take it any longer.
OOC Reason for Leaving: Her mother was one of my favorite soa (and the only one I have killed off! ;A; ) and I would like one of her cubs to have a rather more happy life than poor Saoirse managed. Also Sliabh's blood is rather thick in the pride.
