I always have fascinating, original ideas I just can never find a way to approach an introduction into that idea. Any tips? How should I start my roleplay? With an attention-getter, blunt statement, what?

I personally enjoy quote-related attention-grabbers.
They could be from a song, a poem, a character, or just little hints to what the roleplay contains. Throw that together with a possibly symbolic picture and the effect should be satisfying.

I was thinking about starting it with a definition, those are very popular yet not so overused. Thanks for the advice, Heart! You're fantastic.

I've actually never seen an intro with a definition. It sounds like a good idea, way better than mine. ^-^;
Your very welcome.

I like to start off with questions, or a bold statement or idea.

Interesting, very smart indeed. definitions are not a commonly used eye catcher, but a very effective one
