[Duel] Yuuko & Ubawa

[Qwan Yin Club Rat]

Yuuko had never really expected to end up in the desert, so far away from the Antianeira. But she had. And this place...this place was where she needed to be. Didn't matter how long it took her to win their acceptance, she'd do it. She'd bother her great-uncle for more lessons in fighting if she had to.

So now she stood in front of a lion born to the pride, watching...waiting...assessing. She wasn't about to rush into the fight, not like she had against Vinjari. She was a wiser lioness now. Stronger too.

After several seconds, she made a feint to the right, then shifted to go left.  

[Cajanic]

Ubawa stood there, watching the female with an indifferent expression. He didn't take any duel less seriously than any other, of course. Even a female could be a good opponent. The male was already aware of that from a previous encounter.

It was actually kind of fun to duel females. fun, so long as no one found out about it.

Still, he kept his air cool and confident, not wanting to look too eager. Smiling faintly, he watched the other move about, just waiting. If she wanted to attack first, let her.

No reaction. Yuuko frowned and pulled back before she made a strike. Odd. Very odd. Usually males reacted somehow. Even Vinjari had, and he'd been a calculating male. She frowned and observed him, ears back. She didn't want to screw up...She kept a growl of frustration in.  

[Cajanic]

Ubawa frowned. She hadn’t attacked after all- what was she planning? Well, he wasn’t going to be the first one to attack. Maybe this was all part of some plot to pull him into a sneaky female trap. She wasn’t going to best him! The last couple times he had been beaten by a female, it hadn’t been because of a trap, but that didn’t mean he was going to take the chance now.

“Well?” He demanded lowly, “why don’t you come at me, if you think you can? I’m right here waiting!”
 

[Qwan Yin Club Rat]

Yuuko growled, narrowing her red-brown eyes at the taunting. "I wonder why YOU don't attack either. Males usually can't WAIT to sink their claws into a female!" He wanted to play that game...she'd play right back. She wasn't going to be goaded, dammit! That would give her the disadvantage.
