Mei was at school and Tea was lost for what to do today. She lay on the kitchen dog bed, wagging her tail slowly side to side as she watched her owners mother cook food for the household. She barked with a squeaky voice, and rubbed her paw over her ear and eyes making Mei's mother look down at her.

"Aww are you hungry?" She asked, picking up a piece of steak and putting it on the dog bed next to her.

With her tongue hanging out the side of her mouth she looked up with glee, eyes wide and sparkling. She decided to take it outside to eat, so Smudge wouldn't eat her treat like last time. She picked up the steak and padded out the dog flap, looking either way and ending up under a large cherry blossom tree, shaded and hidden. The steak was chewy and hard to pull apart... She was struggling for the most part and was starting to get pretty full. She looked around, watching the grass sway and people walk by, tilting her head having now been distracted from the food.

A white maw opened wide in a yawn as Eirwyn stared blankly out the window of the music store his owner worked at. Normally he would be trying to take a nap right about now, but it was strangely busy today, and thus rather too loud for his tastes. So, unable to fall asleep, he instead decided to try and find entertainment somewhere outside. Which he was failing at, very badly.

He huffed, annoyed, before his gaze drifted towards the door. People were coming in and out, constantly... he doubted anyone would even notice if he slipped out. His blue ear perked up at the thought, and he glanced over at David, considering it for a second, before slipping off of the window seal and tiptoeing towards the exit. As long as he got back before his owner left for home, his outdoor excursion should go unnoticed. He tended to keep hidden while the man worked, so it's not like he had to worry about Dave looking for him until later today.

Eir paused as another customer open the door, and then slid out before it closed. He smiled, paws clicking on the floor as he padded down the road.

Tea was letting the breeze blow through her bangs, closing her eyes to take in the scents that were brought with it. She blinked blankly a couple of times, both ears perking up as another just like her came on by down the road. She watched him, as he strolled and pondered on whether it would be best to shout him over or not. She did have this bit of steak left over... Deciding to offer it to the male, with pretty blue and white patterns she barked, making a little yapping sound and gently swished her tails side to side, thumping against the grass and the tree.

"Hey!"
She was calling as she picked up the steak, eying him with her large amber eyes. "I can't eat it all, want the rest?" She asked, her voice muffled.

Eirwyn took a deep breathe and closed his eyes, taking in the scents around him. The smell of grass, dirt, humans, a few dogs and other little critters, flowers and some aromas from the other shops nearby were the ones that stood out the most. Not surprising, considering where he was.

His nose twitched as he took in the scent of another dog like him close by, but before he could look for the source, he heard a voice call out. Opening his blue eyes, he flicked his gaze over to the leafy green puppy, and then down to the steak in her mouth. It did look good, and come to think of it, he hadn't eaten very much this morning.

So, smiling, he barked back. "Sure!" His tails wagged behind him as he padded over to her. "I'm Eirwyn, by the way."

Tea kept her eyes on the male pup. She was happy when her call had reached his attention and he had turned, made his way over and introduced himself. He was handsome and had many pretty soft colours to his fur. His markings stretched out like her front paws and she glanced down at her legs before looking back to his and chuckled dropping the steak in front of him. "I'm Tea. (Teh-ya)" She smiled and turned her gaze back to face him. "Your not with your human?" She tilted her head. It was unusual to not be without one; sure she couldn't talk either but her house was only across the green.

Eirwyn smiled at Tea. He had never seen a green puppy before, probably due to him spending most of his time in the shop, and he had to admit that the earthy colors looked nice. At the question, he paused. It was true that it would seem odd for one of their kind to not be around their human, but he was just so bored, sitting there, starring at a wall. So he shrugged, and said, "Not right now. He's working, and I didn't feel like sitting there, doing nothing. So I came out here."

At that, he bent down to take a sniff at the steak, and his mouth watered from the smell. Though it had cooled a bit, it still smelled delicious, and strangely, it had a faint hint of tea leaves mixed in. Then again, Tea seemed to have the same aroma, so he guessed that that was where it came from.

Putting that interesting little note off to the side, he leaned down and gnawed off a chunk of meat in his mouth. Then, in full innocent, boy-puppy decorum, he mumbled out a question between chews. "What about you? Is your human close by?"

Tea watched as the other puppy chewed and talked, a chuckle elapsing from her muzzle. 'How cute.' She thought amused, returning back to his question a gentle smile tickled a long her maw and she shook her head briefly. "Mei is at school." Pausing, she realized she had never even thought about what school was, all she remembered was the scent of the food she carried off out of the door and then returning in the afternoon with none.

She came and went but there was her mother, who gave her treats and huggles throughout the day when Mei could not. "The older human I live with is in the kitchen. Cooking." She tossed her head to the side, directing out to one house with the sliding paper-thin door wide open; delicious scent of food drifting out the doorway and smothering the walkway.

That seemed rather obvious, where else would the food come from? Unless you were a puppy that raided bins but of their kind, that would be very rare.

The pup tilted his head to the side, still absentmindedly chewing on the meat in his mouth, and considered her words. He had never really heard of... skol before. Hm well, come to think of it, he could vaguely remember his human speaking briefly about something like that, but it was a very faint memory. More than likely, Eirwyn had just lost interest in whatever it was.

The talk of cooking caught his attention though. Now THAT he knew about. There have been a few times where Dave would be doing something in their kitchen, and the most delicious smell would come out... and admittedly Eirwyn would wander in and sneak some food when the man wasn't paying attention. Really, if he didn't want Eir to make off with his food, he should guard it better.

"Huh." He paused to lean down and take out another chunk of food, blinking at the steak before responding. "Was that where you got this?"

Without a doubt, Tea was left absolutely stunned. Was he kidding? Or did he seriously ask the obvious? She stared in to the dark blue pools unintentionally with utter most disbelief however, a simple gesture of a nod was the only action she could pull off to the reply that had resulted in loss of speech.

With a shake of her head and a small smile offered to the pup, she stood making her way slowly past him. She looked over her shoulder. "Would you like to come?" She asked, with a brighter expression held. "She would love to see you and she may even give us more treats! Unless you're full?"

She debated whether he would enjoy being in a new place, different smells and unfamiliar humans... SMUDGE. Oh that blasted puppy. Maybe going home wouldn't be such a good idea, if Smudge saw Eirwyn, he would never hear the end of it. There would be a mass of fur and paws settled with a pouncing fit. There was another option... If he would prefer to tread back to his human which she had to offer too because she was also curious.

"Or we could go to see your human?"

Eirwyn lifted his head back up, tongue lapping away at any lingering traces on his mouth, and considered her offer. He had to admit that he was curious about who she lived with... and the treats that he could possibly get by going. Plus he had never ventured into another human's home before.

However, before he could answer back with an affirmative, she gave him another option that, potentially, could be fun too. It was always entertaining to pester Dave while he was working, but he did need to keep in mind that he had left because he was bored.

Decisions. Decisions....

Hm, well. He should probably keep in mind what Tea wanted to do, and she might not enjoy following his owner around a store all that much. Eir cocked his head to the side and observed her for a moment. On the other hand, she did seem a little nervous about bringing him to her home.

In the end, he simply shrugged and said, "I'm up for either of them. I'd love to meet her, but if you'd like to see my human, I can take you there." He paused, "He's working though, and I'm not sure if the shop is still busy. So it might be a short visit."
