The smell of roses was intoxicating. The mafia boss sleepily cracked an eyelid to stare at the bushes of flowers around her. She slowly sat up rubbing the sleep from her eyes. Xenia smiled.
She was in a secluded spot...kind of like a secret garden.
"This is nice~" She murmured.

The foliage rustled as a man stood out. His wings flapped once as he looked around,his gaze falling on Xenia. He wandered over to her and sat on the ground cross-legged as he smiled lazily at her.
"Hello little mistress."

Xenia's head darted up as she caught sight of Aeon. She blinked owlishly to make sure she wasn't dreaming. How did he find her so quickly? She had given him the slip back in town no doubt!
"How did you find me?!" She whispered angrily.

Aeon smiled as he pulled Xenia into his lap,nestling his head in her hair. He brushed her bangs out of her eyes,content.
"A little birdy told me."
He whispered into her ear.
A crow cawed as it circled over head. Indeed a bird had told him.

A surprised squeak escaped Xenia's mouth as she was pulled into his lap. She buried her face in his chest; her cheeks were burning in embarrassment at this point. She didn't understand why it happened,but it always did around the bird-brained man. There was just something about the idiot.
"I'm not a child you know."
She mumbled into his shirt. She could barely hear herself.

Aeon stroked her hair. The sounds she made were just to cute! Especially when she was trying to act hard and tough around him. He squeezed her cheek with one hand and chuckled.
"You will always be a child to me,little mistress."

Xenia growled and batted his hand away. If he hadn't taken care of her all these years,she would have killed him already. No one else was allowed to treat her like a child; only the stupid crow could!
"And your always going to be an over sized bird."
She mumbled embarrassed.

Aeon kissed her sore cheek with a smile. He brushed her hair from her face once more; had her hair always been so long? He couldnt recall. He leaned back as he squeezed her gently.
"But I'm your bird."

Xenia grunted,obviously embarrassed.
"Stupid crow... Of course your mine. Who else will I force to do my dirty work?!"
Her cheeks turned red. She couldn't tell if it was because of the pinching or the thudding of her heart. She pushed him away and stood up,stretching like a cat.

Aeon laughed cheerfully as he stood as well. He took a look around as he picked a bug of his coat. He fed it to a crow who was nesting nearby.
"Of course,little mistress. Your hard to find you know!"
He laughed again.

Xenia climbed a nearby tree,quickly making it to the top.
"Its because your stupid. You cant find much; let alone me."
She hopped off the tree,into an open window of the mansion. She waved to him once before running off.

Achi had been watching from high above in a near tree. He glared at them down there but suddenly the the thief's image popped in Achi's mind. He slammed his arm against the tree and hopped off.
