Viper had been traveling a long way,and just today wasn't the greatest day.Huffing she walked between some rocks and wasn't paying any attention to where she was going and of course there was a swamp right there.Falling right into it Viper struggled,her eyes got big and looked around."Wait!what?"She looked around and blinked.Viper hadn't been watching at all,shes just been wondering off to different places without knowing.Viper tried to get her scaly butt out of the swamp but it was too slippery.Her wings stretched and had the swamp goop falling off them.Snorting viper just laid her head on the edge of the swamp."Not a good day at all...not a goodd day..."Vipers eyes drifted off almost to the point of closing,tired as she was her body tried to stay awake.
Shaking her head slowly at herself."What have you gotten yourself into Viper...Your too clumsy.."Viper kinda laughed at herself for falling into the swamp half asleep.Plus then again this was the worst thing that has happened to her besides walking into a tree half asleep.Watching her surroundings she tried to look for someone to help her.But not a sign of anyone at all.No one.

His armor creaked and groaned as he walked, picking where he tread carefully so as not to get stuck in the muck. It was then that he heard a sound, a sort of disgruntled hiss and the pop of the thick mud...what was that? he wondered...heading carefully towards the sound. He peered around a rotting willow to find a very unusual sight, what appeared to be an oddly scaled female Kalona stuck in the mud. He exhaled a cloud of noxious green mist and called out from his position, not knowing if the mare in question was hostile or not. " Hellooo there....misss...do you need some assissstance? or shall i leave you...?

Vipers ears shot up as she heard a voice.She noticed a stallion,he did look a little different from the others that she has seen since she appeared.Nodding a little she smiled softly."It would be a big help if you could help me out of here.I suppose I should watch where I'm going more often."She laughed quietly and looked at him more.His hooves were completely amazing,his armor,his showing hooves and bones,She was envious.Her wings had muck dropping off of them.Viper struggled and tried to get onto the land,she just waited for him to help her.

Nightmare assumed, as she was asking for help from him...that she was of decent temper...He slunk out from the tree completely and stared down at her, then around the area, giving off a very chill aura. " Maybe...i could grab a small tree....and you may bite on to it...and i will attempt to pull you in...yes?"
He decided that was all he could do, being that he did not have wings he could not help that way...
He ruffled about in the foliage until he found what he was looking for, a rather large, dead branch that had fallen from one of the rotting trees. " I think...this will work" He bit on to one end and dragged to the muck, flicking his neck and tossing the other end to her. Expecting her to do just what he advised...

Viper struggled to grab the branch,but she managed.Her fangs seeping into the wood she nodded to him to help her.Her wings started to flap trying to help him get her out of this swamp.But all it did was throw muck all over him and the ground around them."I apologize!"She felt kinda bad,but she just really wanted to get out of the muck.

Nightmare shook off the muck and mummbled through the wood as best he could " it's ok" he grunted and then setting his hooves deep he tightened his muscles and started slowly pulling her in, not wanting to damage her teeth. Wherever he stepped the mud started to harden, being cooked by the coldfire of his hooves. Making it much easier to gain a grip and some tred on the situation. " Almost there~" he assured her~

Viper walked slowly out of the swamp as he still pulled.Her hooves made prints from the swamp on the dirt as she walked.Sighing lightly she looked at him after setting the branch down and smiled."Thank you,greatly appreciated.Names Viper."Viper looked at his hooves and glowing eyes.He didn't seem scary at all.

Nightmare dropped the end of the branch he was holding and shook his flank of some of the dried mud, eyeing the mare curiously before replying " ah~ well i am glad you got out ok~ ...my name is Nightmare...pleasssed to meat youu~Viper~"
He wiggled his nose " you...are a strange one, not...meaning to be rude of coursssee..." he smiled eerily, his eyes almost rolling back in his head with amusement " you look like a Kalona, but...you have scales and a kind demeanor~~~"
He flicked his tail of sticks and mud. " Ssooo what are you doing here Viper?...you got stuck in the mud~"

"Thanks,its a pleasure."She laughed lightly at him."I'm half Kalona half kirin."She raised her wings tall to let him look.Shaking the muck off of her Viper just stared back at the flamey stallion."Well....lately i've been like going into these zones where i don't even see where i'm going and i walk there.I just happened to show up here and walked right into the swampy area."Viper laughed at herself quietly.

He tilted his head slightly, causing his armor to squeak in protest. " Oh i see...i have...never seen a Kirin before~" He eyed the shiny emerald scales on her and nodded " i guesss, i will recognize one...if i ever...see one."
He exhaled a cloud of strange green mist and flicked his tail in thought " well yesss...it is easy...to get lost here~ it's not reccomended~" he hissed~

Her ears never twitched from the sound of his armor.Smiling she nodded."Well i have the scales,just not the horn.They don't have the long tail and large wings."Viper watched the green mist come from him,she just watched it disappear slowly as he breathed out."Very easily.I just know that i'm in a swampy place as we both can tell.But where are we exactly?"

Nightmare paused a second, looked at the bunch of feathers that adorned her head and spoke " oh, i seeeee~~~" so Kirin have horns as wellll?" his upper lip curled, revealing a row of very sharp needle point fangs.
At her question he looked around, his nostrils flared a little " where...? We are in the Everglen, a swamp that is fed from the sea~...i came here to see if i could find some suitible...mulch...for my garden back home~"

Vipers ears purked up."Yeah I suppose they do."She smiled and looked at the stallions teeth.She flared hers and huffed.Rolling her eyes at his answer she looked around.Her eyes watched the goopy muck around their hooves.Smelling it she grunted and looked back at him."You love to come here?"
