Basic Information

The weapon is based off of and almost entirely similar to the original AR-10 weapon, save for a few outside aesthetic changes and weapon frame additions (such as picanty rails). The weapon of course, uses the direct impingement system, and unlike most current modern weapon in use of the direct impingement system, the jam rate and likely for the weapon to stop or misfire is around the same as most modern weapons, such as the HK417. While not quite as accurate or reliable as the HK417, or of high as quality, the AR-10 is still one of, if not the, lightest, easily controllable 7.62mm x 51mm NATO rifle in the world. It's felt recoil, being directly proportional to it's own round gas expansion and energy, is the roughly the same as the M16 and M4 weapons, which are known to be able to be "Placed on the Forehead" and fired in fully automatic mode; although this is not recommended, as a severe headache can occur, and coupled with a continued duration potential brain injuries or concussions are likely to occur. Despite the felt recoil being existent, when compared to most rifles, especially in the 7.62mm x 51mm NATO rounds, misuse or mishandling of the rifling while firing can cause the "Back-lash" of recoil to easily cause bodily injury, while an AR-10 has a very low likelihood of this and offers a much more controllable platform. While not as reliable, accurate, or even as powerful as some modern 7.62mm rifles, it is one of the lightest, and offers the least recoil for it's weight, as well as being incredibly controllable in automatic fire.
