The moon seemed to glow against the summer sky as the stars twinkled around it. There wasn't a cloud in the sky to mask any of the beauty, and it was only better since the temperature outside seemed perfect. It was neither too hot, nor too cold, and yet the light summer breeze still passed by every now and then.
The pinkish red fluttercorn danced around in her smaller size. She lightly hummed along while nuzzling against the flowers to lick at the sweet nectar and collect the pollen every now and again.
Fluttering her wings, her glowing green dust dancing off them, she looked around after finishing with her current flower. There didn't seem to be a soul around in the meadow she was in.
"So quiet tonight. I wonder where everyone has vanished off too…"
She swiftly flew in to the air and shot off in to the night to find a new location to hang around at. Maybe she would find someone to keep her company, or at least find something entertaining.

With such a lovely night gracing the Kawani lands, it was impossible for Fremere to stay grounded. The feel of the wind caressing his mighty white wings was something that he could never deny. It was joy, it was love, and it was freedom. As he glided across the night sky like a shooting star, his heart sang.
Perhaps if he wasn't so caught up in his joy and heart song, he'd have notice the little green winged moth that flitted about just up ahead.

Aonani happily floated around in the dark expansion of the sky, the shine of the stars and moon catching every bit of her attention. Being not only a flutter, but a moth flutter, she loved the darkness of the night, and the twinkle and shine of objects that cut through the darkness, so it was no wonder the celestial forms would catch her interest.
However, having all her attention drawn to the sky did have a down side, like how she could not see the white shining form heading her way, that is until her body felt like she had just rammed in to the side of a mountain, the mountain known as the stallions forehead.
Catching her attention back, the small flutter couldn't get her brain to tell her what was going on. One minute she was seeing nothing but the sky, and the next thing she knew she was lost and tangled in a sea of white.
She could try to grow to her larger size, but that would be too risky. Thrashing around and whimpering, the mare tried her best to call out with her tiny voice.
"Stop! I'm stuck! I'm stuck!"

A flurry of fluttering wings filled the stallion's sight, causing his heart to clench within his chest. When it passed, he began to release a sigh of relief and chide himself over not paying attention, but a strange noise gave him pause. His ears pinned back, straining to hear over the roaring of the wind. There! It sounded like a squeaking voice. And it now felt as if more than just the breeze were pulling at his mane.
He risked a glance back, spying something colorful struggling within his locks of white. Knowing that there was nothing he could do in the air, he searched for a suitable clearing, and then began to descend towards the earth below.

The little fluttercorn might as well have been on a rollercoaster ride of terror, or have been caught up in hurricane at the moment, because that is what is felt like to her mind. To be caught in someone’s mane, and then have them shoot down for the ground, it really wasn’t the most comfortable feeling in the world.
Trying not to increase her thrashing, Aonani tensed and held back a squeak during the first moment of descent. It really did feel like her heart had jumped straight to her throat, but she got over it. As long as they landed safely on the ground, and she could find a way to save herself from the white locks, then she would be fine, save the moments of embarrassment that is...

With an easy grace, Fremere's strong legs touched down on the ground. His wings folding against his back before his body bent into an awkward bow. One that would get his head close to the, cocking to the side to give the tiny mare access to the ground in hopes that a firm footing would her her escape, and keep his sword from sliding from its sheath. Beyond this action, he could think of no way to assist.

By the time the pair reached the ground it seemed as if there was no difference between land and sky, up and down, ect ect to Aonani, because by the time they reached the ground the young mare's world was spinning like a fly caught in a tornado. Though, if she were to think about it Aonani was lucky since a fly caught in a tornado would surely be dead, wouldn’t it? The mare tilted her head at the thought, “Poor little buggy. It never had a chance in the world. Hopefully it had a family to carry on its line, though if they were around they would be dead too…wouldn’t they? Huh…”
A moment passed before the fluttercorn’s brain kicked her back in to reality and she realized the stallion was waiting for her to untangle herself. Her heart skipping in slight embarrassment for her silent and absent minded moment she peeped out an apology. “Sorry! Sorry!”
With that said, the mare carefully kicked her little legs, and nipped at the locks of hair in hopes of freeing herself. It took some time, but she finally loosened herself enough to free herself, though it was too bad she could not flap her wings in time to keep herself from falling to the ground…

Such an odd little thing, this fluttercorn mare. Being a wanderer, it was rare for Fremere to encounter a familiar face as much as he'd encountered this mare. And each other their meetings had been... odd.
He was used to order in his world, and solitude. For him, dealing with this flight mare was... foreign. He did not know how he should act, what words should be spoken, or if words should be spoken at all. What troubled him more though, was that it didn't all together bother him.
Carefully, he leaned in to nose the little fluttercorn. "Are you undamaged miss?"

Aonani lightly shook her head, her short chopped mane barely moving, if at all. The fall wasn't all that bad, at least she wasn't scratched up, just a tad dizzy and confused at the moment. The roller coaster feet still had not left her, so moving at a bit out of the quest at the moment.
She blinked at the feeling of her body moving from the nudge, especially since she never saw it coming thanks to her mind spinning and wandering for a moment.
"Oh, yes." She said as she stumbled to her feet in a clumsy type of manner before she paused for a moment and poofed in to her full sized form, which was just a tad bit smaller than a standard sized mare. "Don't worry about me Sir. I'll be fine, really!"
The little fluttercorn laughed lightly and gave a smile as if to try to convince him not to worry about her.
"I'm really sorry for the trouble I caused you. I didn't mean to just run in to you like that and get all tangled in your hair. Though I guess it is amusing to run in to you again in such a way! ...OH! Are you okay? I didn't take out any of your hair did I?"

"There is no need to apologize, I was not paying attention." The corners of his lips turned upwards from amusement. Such an... odd little mare. She reminded him of a filly really. He found it... endearing.
"I am quite alright, you need not concern yourself with some minor hair pulling." To emphasize that everything was alright, he should his short mane. His silvery locks glinting in the moonlight before settling into place.
"I hope that this incident had not ruined your evening."

"Well..." the purple pink mare cocked her head to the side and sent a worried glance up towards the angeni. For a moment she held that look, but then gave a shrug, her expression replaced with her usually one of happiness and her carefree nature. Though, that was quickly replaced with a slightly dazed look when her bright green on green eyes caught sight of the stallion's hair.
"You're hair sort of looks like silver water under the moonlight, you know that? Or maybe more like shiny pieces of ribbon in the wind."
Aonani took a few seconds pondered the comparisons until her mind set her back on the track she should have been walking along.
"Oh, no, no! It wasn't as if I was going anywhere with a destination in mind, or anything like that. I was actually looking around to see if anyone was out tonight, so I guess running in to you answered that question for me. Though...I would say this would be one of our more interesting meet ups, with what happened and all."

"Thank you?" replied that large stallion out of uncertainty.
With each passing moment, this little mare seemed to get odder and odder. Never before had he heard his mane describe by anyone in such a poetic manner. Water under the moonlight... huh. For a moment, the stallion went cross eyed as he stared as a silver lock that hung in front of his face. Those words conjured such beautiful imagery within his mind, images that greatly exceed his silver mane.
Shaking the thoughts and images away, he once again gave the mare his attention. "It is often dangerous to seek out others during the night hours miss. The night is when hunters are on the move, using the shadows to hunt prey."
He frowned. "It would be a great shame to see such a promising life ripped to shreds."
To chase away the morbid thoughts, he tacked on at the end, his voice laced with amusement, "It is indeed, a memorable meet up."

"Oh, I know what goes on during the night, Sir. Knowing what is lurking around at night does scare me, but I do not have much of a choice, being a moth flutter and I. I'm most active at night, and it get kind of lonely since most others don't spend a lot of time wandering around during the night, so I do my best to keep myself company, or seek out company. I just never imagined I would find some like this."
She slowly nodded as he thoughts wandered back to past nights. Some were filled with loneliness, others filled with danger, and then there were those few nights when she actually did have someone to keep her company, even if only for a few brief minutes. Such nights always made her think back to her family, others like herself. She wondered if they were still together, or if they were now like herself. Just wandering around day by day, or more like, night by night and trying to keep themselves sane.
"Though, if the nights are so dangerous, then why do you travel by moonlight? Are you in search of something?"
