Jōnin
The 411 on being a Jōnin badass

Qualification:

"A chunin must take an action that demonstrates to his/her Kage that they have reached a level of mastery over themselves and the ninja arts that warrants respect from his peers.

Additionally, they must display the qualities of an exemplary team leader. It should be equivalent in it's level of difficulty to an S-Rank mission/the chunin exams raised to the level expected of a Jōnin."

Jōnin Types

-Once you switch to a Jonin only type, you have to stay.
-You loose all bonuses from your previous type.
-You may only switch once.
-You do not HAVE to switch. (Most don't)
-You must fulfill the requirements BEFORE you become that type.

Bonus: Any team you teach becomes slightly better at everything when you're in a fight with them!
Example: Ebisu, Iruka

(Note: There WERE more of these, but now they are basic ones because of the 3rd genoration's clan system)

Note:

The rank "Special Jonin" (Tokubetsu Jōnin) does not count as "jonin". It's only an in-game rank (as a genin can pretty much be given the title) and doesn't have any benefit in regards to what you can learn. The same thing goes for ANBU.
