“Aaaachooooo” escaped from his lips before the stallion could even blink an eye, despite their beauty flowers where nothing more than a curse to him. Constantly tickling his nose not to mention every time he got near them he felt sick with a rather stuffy nose that lasted what seemed like forever, but he could never seem to get away from them far enough. Flowers where everywhere, even worse was the fact that his cousin insisted on him collecting whatever he came across as a gift for her father. Why couldn’t just simply refuse her request? Because he couldn’t say no to her to anything, when they were younger she used to give him the sappiest pouting face every time he refused to go on another silly adventure. Now she just nudged him along and despite his protesting she just simply ignored him knowing he would do it anyway, such a push over he was with her.
*Sniffles* “Ugh she is trying to kill me I swear,” Ahote replied as his light tan eyes looked around at the bed of flowers that rested on the edge of the river. They were tall and white with a rather unique shape, he wasn’t sure what they were called but he was sure Visky or her father would know. Quickly he bit one of the stems off and placed the flower on his back, father away it was on him the better. Shaking his head he made is way over the river dunking his nozzle in hoping to wash away any pollen around his nose before he took a large gulp of cool water down.
Afterwards he was satisfied he made his way heading towards the field, maybe with some high hopes and lucks he wouldn’t come across another batch of evil flowers.

“Aaaachooooo”As the stallion sniffed and murmured conspiracy claims to himself, Kaliska twitched an ear back a flick, eyes temporarily refusing to open as she dozed in the long grass and shadows of a tree, stirred from her nap by the proximity of the sound.
If she didn't move, maybe whomever it was wouldn't see her, and she wouldn't have to worry about whether or not they might attack her for being possibly of Kalona decent. While it didn't always happen, it happened regularly enough that she took caution whenever she ventured from Cuauhcoatl's territory.
However, she noted with a backing of her ears, if she didn't move the stallion was apt to step on her. She sighed softly and lifted her head before standing.
She was, for lack of a better word, petite. Shorter then most mares by good way without being quite as short as a foal or Usida, but not by too much. A throwback to her flutter-corn heritage, as ill evident as it was with the bright gemlike ram horns on her head, which she had delicately attempted to hide in her mane. It didn't work, due to their length and size now that she was older. She so wished she had some sort of headdress she could use as a way to hide them in plain sight.

Ahote shook his head the droplets of water cascading to the ground before his ears flickered to the nose of another creature moving around caught his attention. His brows rose and then settled on a bit of a disgruntled look as the mare appeared as if from sort of black magic from the tall grass in front of him. He realized he would have almost stepped on her if she hadn’t moved from what he assumed her resting spot was and the feeling of being a rather overgrown idiot was settling across his body. Stupid! Stepping on a mare would have been a rather disastrous problem on his blind like part not to mention the blush red cheeks that already rose across his cheeks would have spread along his body making him look like an odd brown cherry. Ahote gave a slight bow to the mare in front of him before little his voice tumble out avoiding the want to stutter, “I’m sorry miss I didn’t see you there I’m a bit of a klutz or so I’ve been told.” A smile lightly spread itself across his lips as he looked at the mare a little more carefully.
She was small-framed, shorter than the cerynei female he had met from his brother, but she had lovely long blue hair that nestled around a set of horns. His brow rose for a bit horn’s of a kalona? But she seemed too small to be part of their race. Great, just his luck, now she would chew him out about his blind eyesight, confrontation to mares where never his forte and he found kalona’s to be rather fierce from the get go. Usually he would just sort of move his way around them and avoid them like the plague but now he was knee deep.

Instead, however, the mare bowed her head somewhat meekly and stepped to the side, eyeing him wearily with an expression similar to that of a kicked puppy apologizing for its being kicked. She relaxed slightly, when she realized he wasn't the same stallion that had one time attacked her for being of possible Kalona decent.
However, it was better safe then sorry, she mused slightly, trying to keep her expression as neutral as possible, and remembered previous reactions to others having nearly stepped on her in her attempts to stay hidden like a faun in the grass, "I'm sorry for getting in your way. I thought this area was isolated enough..."
She found herself missing the isolation of Cuauhcoatl's valley to the east of the Kawani lands, but it was also, in many ways, lonely as well.
