Generally, there are two different type of robots: Mecha and Booster Armor:
Mecha Suits: have heavy armor and firepower. There blocky size however makes them a bit slower and cumbersome to control.
Also you have to climbed into you mech. Do to it heavy size, It obviously cannot be dragged around. It is remomened that if you are not in your mecha keep it in a garage so it be safe. The mechas powerful armor guarantees that it'll take a real hard hit and keep pushing. Because Mech are controlled by input command via computer, the rider of a Mech uses less energy, allowing them to endure long battles.

Booster Armor:
A more slender and sleek armor, They have incredible speed and agility and are exponential in close range combat, however there fire power is pretty moderate but fast. Also the Booster armor, when unused can be stored inside the users body. When time to fight they call it out and its party time. Though the Booster-Armor increases the users strength and abilities, They can't sustain long bouts. Like a person, Booster-Armor is only as strong as the person using it.
