Basic Information
The KAC PDW was designed around the proprietary 6 x 35mm cartridge, making the lightweight (4.5 lbs), ultra compact weapon highly lethal up to 300 meters. The weapon uses the proprietary dual gas piston system for reliability under extreme conditions and comes with the new ball-mill lightened "stiff" barrel, special KAC muzzle break, ambidextrous controls, and full curved magazine. The weapon's base statistic for firing is that with 10" Barrel the weapon, using a 6x35mm round, generates 848 ft-lbs (65 Grain 2,425 fps), or a 4.3 gram projectile at 740 m/s generating roughly 1180 Joules. It also produces half the recoil of a similar m-4 weapons system, and is much more lethal at close ranges, creating a larger entrance and exit wound as well as having a higher inertia, generating and transferring energy at a much higher rate, as well as simply having a better bullet design.
