Yeah I started playing zOMG a lot more recently, which is good because I totally got the egg. The ring is pretty alright, but the item is great.

I also started playing again this past month or so. I like gold. I hate Booty Grab. And I'm a horrible vender/exchanger. I make a good hoarder. XD; I'm a pack rat so I can't sell items, no matter how many I get. > < Horrible problem.
I was on the fence as to whether I wanted to buy a 2nd egg or not. I guess I should have. I didn't know that it would give a ring. D: And the clothing is very pretty for an event item~
Tonight, during Papa Saw, we tried to calculate the boost in gold you get for wearing the fortune ring. The person said that the ring is supposed to soulbind once you equip it. He equipped his, but it wasn't soulbound.
We both got 5.4k that round. Either it didn't work because it wasn't soulbound or that luck boost is crap.
(I should note that we had rr4 Divinity and rr4 Coyote on. Both add a luck boost too.)
I'm going to do more tests with it... eventually... I want gold~~
And I'm always up for helping others on zOMG. :3 This account is maxed out. I know what I'm doing, I follow directions very well when/if I don't, and I learn quickly. I'm a great addition to any party! ;D That, and I like helping~~

Yivuk, you should have said hi xD I don't have many friends that play and I've just like.... been mindlessly grinding by myself :<
I'm trying to get... I think bronze?... for the axe needed to finish the axe after the She-Wolf fight so I can get into the saw-mill so I can start joining papa-saw parties and farming there, since one of my CL 10 friends says it's pretty much the best place to camp if you want to accumulate spheres. I've been just.... aimlessly trying to farm drums and alarmskeeters, but so far, so bronze drops D; I only need two.
I have this horrible paranoia that if I don't finish the quest and then try to join a party, I'll get an error saying I'm not allowed in yet ; w;

I ragequit zOMG! because I couldn't beat EB emo DAMN YOUUUUUUU EB -shakes fist-
Everytime I got to the last form, my internet connection happened to die out because of my craptop
I haven't played for reals since like May '09 besides for event items

@Daypaw; You can play Papa Saw even before you get to the quest. ...And you can repeat it as many times as you want.
4.5cl is the lowest you should enter it at. It's survivable at that level. (cap is CL 5.0) You also get at least around 40 orbs per round of Papa Saw Hard. It speeds things up greatly.
Er, big tip. When you load into the saw cabin, don't move. Watch the spot your crew moves to. (Upper left corner) People like to gather and wait there for everyone to enter before starting the fight. The saws won't appear until someone runs into the middle of the cabin. (But it sucks when someone doesn't understand that and keeps starting the fight before people are ready.)
XD Oh yeah, and the divinity and coyote spirit rings give luck boosts when used with rage. That should help you get the bronze faster. Sometimes those darn rare drops just take forever though.
XD Maybe the new fortune ring will help too. :}
@Skyscraper Opera; O: That really sucks.
I kept having bad luck on my first EB runs. I got crews that would try to run past those big scary fish things instead of fighting together. And then the whole crew would end up dazing. XP

I've been using Coyote Spirit, because I had it- I had a bunch of rings left over from back before they were soul bound and you could get them on the marketplace for super cheap. I only recently got Divinity, but I haven't put any effort into leveling it yet. The only other buff I keep on me regularly is Healing Halo.
Thanks for the papa saw tips- I've been doing kokeshi dolls, and EVERYONE goes straight to the middle of the field there- so that would have been the first place I went probably D; I'll keep in mind not to do that at the mill :}
Urk, I was trying to do the doll in a group last night and they suuuuucked D< Doing the doll in a group of four/five on normal difficulty is usually like.... NO PROBLEM but these people were getting themselves killed left and right.... I have no idea how they were doing it..... Seriously, wtf......

well i had a golden egg but i sold like an impatient idiot but it turned out ok because i bought the ring & combined with the angel set & cyote i already got back all the orbs i put into it leveling it up to 10
