This wasn't the right path, was it? The tall, feathered stallion asked himself. The trees just seemed to become giants, growing larger by the mile. He had to be lost. No, if I just continue walking, I'll find the route. Just need to think positive and everything will work itself out. He wasn't sure how much time had gone by since he had left his last resting spot.

What a beautiful day for foraging. the mare thought as she poked about the trees searching for things to bring back to the flock and her sisters. There was nothing more calm and peaceful than doing the job she had been appointed to do. Especially when it gave her the chance to wander and let her thoughts roam free.
Alas it never lasted it seem, for out of the corner of her eye she spotted movement. Turning her attention in the direction of the movement, the mare saw that it was another feathered being. But from this distance she could not tell if it was another female like herself or a male. So she quietly followed, keeping amongst the shadows.

The clawed stallion glanced around him once again. Maybe he should just turn back? Give up on his goal of finding them, at least for today. Eventually it was going to get dark, and he would need to make his way back before nightfall. Wait Garuda paused in mid step. His feathers felt as though they were standing on end. Something was watching him. He searched the brush around him, looking for any sign of the creature's eyes. Nothing. What could hide itself so well? Did he get luck. "I know you're there." Garuda spoke, his voice a low hum. "Come out, please. I wont harm you,"

Shikoba paused when the other did. Claws like herself? But now she could see that it was a male. A stallion. She should capture him but the claws intrigued her. Her eyes had never seen anyone outside of her herd, let alone one that was a male, have claws like herself. She was intrigued by this male.
I won't harm you? Well it wouldn't be I that would be worrying about being harmed. She smiled in amusement to herself as she watched him from her hiding spot. Waiting a few minutes before she spoke, making him wait and wonder if anyone is truly there.
"Are you sure it is wise to call out into the shadows?" She spoke softly, finally, but keeping herself in hiding just to see what he would do.

Garuda's claws dug into the ground at the sudden reply. He didn't realize that he hadn't been expecting anything to answer him. He couldn't see the creature who spoke to him, but already pin pointed it's location. He knew it was female. His guard unwisely lowered itself. He was as big as they came, and surely no female could harm him. Garuda's claws scratched lines into the dirt as he stepped forwards toward's the girl's hiding spot. "Why don't you come out and show yourself to me." He spoke, eying the bushes that kept them apart. "As I said, I won't hurt you," Garuda waited in anticipation for the female to show herself. The drumming in his chest told him that he might have found what he was looking for.

"You say you won't hurt me. Do you not fear for yourself? Do you think that simply because you are male that you won't get hurt?" Shikoba question from her spot amongst the shadows. Intriguing if I must say so. She took a few steps quietly backwards to keep from being spotted just yet. "Do you not know what lives amongst these trees?" Her voice remained quiet as she questioned him. "Why are you wandering around here?"
