Ya, they definitely seemed pretty annoyed with each other after the whole thing. But I know they played in London, the World Tour Final, and Soderling won. Not sure if that was the last meeting, but it's the last one I recall.
Soderling has Berdych, who I wouldn't normally consider much of a major threat, but I remember Soderling last year after he beat Nadal almost losing in the semis to Gonzo. I think he was down 4-1 in the 5th in that semi. So, I'm just hoping Soderling doesn't have a let down, but otherwise I'd think Soderling could win that match.
Nadal will probably breeze his way to the final. Almagro probably is no biggie, and a potential semis with Djokovic doesn't seem too threatening when it's clay.
Just would be awesome to see, Soderling has all the confidence in the world and has proven he can do it, and you'd think Rafa would love to avenge that loss and win a 5th French Open in the process.
Do you think the rematch is as likely as I think, or do you think Berdych or perhaps Almagro or Djokovic throw a wrench in things?

Ya, I agree. Honestly, Soderling is probably the only one we could count on to take out Nadal at this point. Almagro gave him 2 tough first sets, but still was dismissed quite routinely by Nadal. Melzer took out Djokovic on that side of the draw, so in my opinion, Nadal has an easier semifinal than he would of had.
Berdych rarely does much better than qtrs in majors anyway, so to think he'd beat a game Soderling and then challenge Nadal on clay seems a little farfetched.
I just personally hope Soderling doesn't have a let down, we know he has what it takes to win this, for him to flame out and then just allow Nadal a likely easy 5th title would be disappointing.
1st time major winner on the women's side guaranteed, too ^^

Based on Stosur's previous matches, definitely. Schiavone hadn't really played the same level of competition to show she could play at that level, nor has she ever been so far in a slam. Stosur was at least a semifinalist the year previous. Actually beat Schiavone in the first round last year, haha. A lot of signs that pointed to Stosur winning, but ya, didn't happen.
This was a nice final though, two new faces in terms of a final, a 1st time singles champion guaranteed, a better match than a lot of women's finals end up being, and it was just fun to see Schiavone's emotion. You like to see someone really into it and pumping their fist and just loving it.
