having beaten dragon age to death and played every possible way i could think of i decided to get another game made by bioware, mass effect. im still at the begining but so far i really like it. im usually terrible at aiming on 3rd person shooters but so far im doing pretty well. it may have to do with the fact that ive got the game set to the easiest setting, but still XD

dragon age or mass effect?
dragon aage is a role playiong fantasy game that involes more talking than fighting, but its still fun and extremely interactive because what you say has an effect on how your party members like you or if they will fall in love with you
mass effect im still a the begining of but its made by the same peopel who made dragon age. its futuristic so it has aliens in it. i like it so far but im at the begining, still getting used to everything lol
my fiance told me that dragon age is just like knights of the old republic, ive never played that game so i cant say if thats true or not.

I'm in the same position - I've completed Dragon Age Origins, and I'm usually skeptical of sci-fi stuff, but my friends said I'd love Mass Effect nonetheless. Bioware did a really good job with characterisation in DA (which is often a strong point of Western RPGs in general, but in this case it was just super awesome) and I gotta say, what little of Mass Effect I've played, I've enjoyed. I haven't got very far, though -- I only just got into the Citadel before deciding I should finish Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening before tackling Mass Effect.

i still havent finished awakening. its very glitchy. ive been meaning to start over but im going to wait until i beat origins whith my newest character. i plan on doing a few things different this time around and want to see how it affects awakening.
im not much further than you in mass effect. i dont like how its hard to figure out what to do next but other than that i really like it. i havne tplayed enough scifi games to tell wether or not i like them. i do prefer fantasy to anything though. i much prefer oblivion to fallout 3.

If you guys are wanting to get into sci-fi games, I highly recommend the first Deus Ex. It's kind of old, but man is it good. Especially if you're a conspiracy theorist. It's a first person shooter though, just so you guys are aware.

You could probably play the game doing nothing but melee, depending on how you build your character. It's really great in the sense that you can customize your character to how you want to play the game.

It's really great in the sense that you can customize your character to how you want to play the game. I actually started playing Deus Ex aaages ago since I've heard a lot of good things about it, but I ended up putting it aside for a while, and then it VANISHED. I think my little brother traded it in, the twunt. >: / Silenced Wolves Shanna66 dragon age or mass effect? dragon aage is a role playiong fantasy game that involes more talking than fighting, but its still fun and extremely interactive because what you say has an effect on how your party members like you or if they will fall in love with you mass effect im still a the begining of but its made by the same peopel who made dragon age. its futuristic so it has aliens in it. i like it so far but im at the begining, still getting used to everything lol my fiance told me that dragon age is just like knights of the old republic, ive never played that game so i cant say if thats true or not.
