A little Pious Note: This thread is safe from the not two weeks posting, because of all the valuable things one can learn about Roleplaying, and our Characters from this Roleplay. Thank'ee, and sorry Gamemaniac. I am making a battle roleplay for everyone to try out future Oblivion characters. Sound like fun? Anyway, rules are: 1: Make it a single class. (Ex: no fighting mage that can use a bow efficently.) So basically, stick to combat, magic or stealth. (You can use a spell or two whoever you are though wink ) 2: Make the classes relate to what you know of Oblivion and if unknown, make it based off of the morrowind classes. 3: Absolutly no godmodding. (No ultimate fireball that kills everyone within 100 feet.) 4: I will alert the roleplayers of new rules. La map: was from oblivion source.com (Edited by Spud to avoid page stretch, and it's of Cyrodil, not Tamriel!) hope you guys dont mind the stretch..... its for a good cause.

Oops, just read the announcement, can someone lock this for me? If you guys want to...
Anyway, here is my character....
Name: Kah-fhajita
race: (whoops) khajiit.
Specialty: Stealth
Weapon(s): Many wild viperblades, and bow with enchanted fire arrows. And the ebony darts.
Spells: Chameleon, Invisibility, and Enchanted arrows with 5 fire damage per second on hit for 5 seconds.
Background: born in oblivion, raised as a traveling merchant with his father. He hated his father and killed him with throwing darts that a kha-jit sold him. He took off on his own after retrieving the darts from his father and keeping them. Not for any sentimental reason, that would be stupid. But only because they were ebony and hard to come by. He uses them regularly, and has grown up into a fine assasin for an unnamed assasin guild.

Name: Maikau Seimorase
Race: Unknown, though he speaks with an Argonian accent.
Specialty: Magic
Weapon: Enchanted Bone Staff
Spells: He has a number of spells, though he specializes in Necromancy and raising the corpses of those that he kills with his extremely potent magic. He has created a number of his own spells, all of which are extremely deadly. Though it is possible to survive all of them with certain counters, very few of those he kills know how to. The spells that he uses most often are:
Sting- This spell involves the collection of some kind of venom. Once the poison is collected, this spell can concentrate a handful of fluids into a tiny needle-like projectile. Maikau's aim has gotten better through the years, and he is capable of hitting a target from almost a hundred yards away. At fifty yards, he can hit their jugular vein, killing them more painfully, since the venom would go straight to the victim's brain. On the surface, the wound area is only big enough to produce drop of blood every few minutes, but on the inside, the poison can either knock the victim out, or kill them.
Cure- A simple Cure Common Disease spell can neutralize the toxins.
Drown- This spell is much more obvious than the almost nonexistant sting caused by the neurotoxins of the previous spell. Drown surrounds the victim in an orb of water, and drains Maikau's magicka constantly while the orb is being held up. Fortunately, Maikau seems to have a nearly limitless supply of magicka, and when he does run out, he always seems to have a potion on hand. Very few can best this spell, but the counter is rather simple.
Counter- Any flame spell will travel through the energy web that holds the water up, and moderately burn Maikau, breaking his concentration long enough for the water to fall.
Cleave- This spell concentrates common air, and compresses it into a blade. LikeDrown, this spell drains Maikau's magicka as long as the spell is being cast. This spell takes the most magicka, and not even Maikau can support it for long, but it is the deadliest, and the one that Maikau uses only in the most serious situations. The blade spans about five feet under normal conditions, and can cut through almost anything, including Indoril and Ebony Armor. It will only crack glass armor, but if the target is wearing a glass armor set, he will hit them once, and then have the blade rebound back to kill them.
Counter- Glass armor works as a warning, but no humanoid can outrun the wind. The best way to diminish the blade created by cleave is to dodge it until Maikau's magicka fails him. When the air compresses, so does the debris that was in it, making it easy to see. If you have trouble with that, cast a fire spell on it, and it'll light it up, making it extremely obvious. Due to the concentration required, it is hard to curve the blade at the last second, which makes that the best time to dodge.
Background: Unknown

Name: Zakkon Deathblade Race: Bosmer Speciality: Stealth Weapons: Shortblade (Dual wielding weapons in TES, a creation that I can only dream of.) Spells: Grace Of The Forest: Fortify Speed Agility and Acrobatics 40 points for 50 seconds. Heartwood: Fortify Health 50 points and Strength 25 points for 30 seconds. The Silent Flight: Fortify Speed and Athletics 30 points for 45 seconds. Intertwining Branches: Fortify Agility 50 points for 40 seconds. Leaved Rainment: Fortify Shortblade 35 points and LightArmor 35 points for 80 seconds. Flitting Shadows: Invisibilty 75 points for 40 seconds.
Background: You are The Deathblade, one of many. Your manor in Balmora has stood since Rayorayan Deathblade lived, and shall stand until the end of time. Protected by Notre Dame De Mort, you are graced by the gods, gifted in all, you never lose, and whether you choose to live for Goodness, Neutrality, or Evil intent, you shall never die until you find it fitting to pass on the Goddess' favor to another. Whether you are a fighter, mage, or thief. You are the shadows, none may see you until it is too late. You are a weapon, your blade honed to the finest perfection and deadliness. The lines of magic that cross the universe, are yours to tap into and control, magica flows through you like blood, and none are more adept at spell casting. You are Deathblade, one blessed by the gods, and one who has risen above all others. You may be Bosmer, Altmer, Dunmer, RedGuard, Nord, Imperial, or Argonian, but no longer are you yourself, no longer are you an individual. Instead, you have fully accepted your destiny, and the choice of your predecessor.
You have become The Deathblade, now stand strong, embrace your fate, and shape the world to your choosing.

The big Mod I'd been working on that I'd been working on that I'd talked about in some other topic.
It was about the Deathblades.
I was working on building the manor, then creating a crazy new storyline and a big new quest.
But I got bored.
I'm still not sure where I thought of The Deathblades, or Zakkon Deathblade, but about 2-3 years ago I did think of them.
I think it was due to Dak'kon from Planescapes: Torment (the game) who originally game me the idea, and I took it from there.
Wherever it came from, the Deathblades are cool.
And I invented Notre Dame De Mort this summer.
I like that one, think that was pretty cool.
French gave us something good...?
Weird.
Maybe I should finish my Deathblade mod in Oblivion, find a good town for the Manor, and scope the storyline around that one.
That might actually be a good idea, and I wouldn't get bored because they've had time to perfect the Construction Set, and the graphics'll be amazing, and the lighting effects, and all that good stuff.
Yup, that's a pretty good idea actually.
