My worst fear in life are tornadoes. Ever since I was little I've had nightmares of them and every time that tornado warning alarm goes off I begin to worry my butt off. I am also afraid of lightning and have been since I was little because I've had a bad family history with it. My great-grandfather, my grandfather, and two of my uncles have been struck by lightning. My grandfather and one of my uncles that was struck survived, but my great-grandfather and the other uncle were killed in their sleep. I guess my fear is extreme weather.

Well, my fear is supposedly of heights. But it's not the heights that scare me, it's the fall from the height... I've been scared of really high places for as long as I can remember. I almost never go on roller coasters or other things like that. I went on the Double Ferris Wheel once, but felt sick afterward. I went on the Jaguar at Knotts Berry Farm, but was so scared that my knuckles were going white from gripping the bar so hard. I think my proudest moment was going on it twice. But I'm always terrified I'm going to fall. In fact, I have had a reoccurring dream for many years about falling. And it feels so real. It hasn't happened lately, thankfully.

Nictophobia. I have a fear of the dark. Not so much a fear though, more a paranoia when its night outside. I have no trouble with the dark while Im inside. But while Im outside and its night Im constantly checking over my shoulder. Im not sure what caused it but I think it might have been when I was small and some associates of my friend put me behind a fence where wild dogs were known to be at night. I cant remember it entirely but I believe I had heard dogs and had freaked out trying to climb back over and they wouldnt let me. That was when my friend grabbed me and helped me over. I dont know if that caused my fear or not but I think it might have.

I have a fear of extreme weather as well. I guess it's because when I was little about half my house was torn up from a tornado. Luckily I was on the other side with my parents and little brother.

I guess i don't like the uncertainty that comes with not seeing too far in front of my face. sweatdrop

I fear the feeling of being held captive, in the literal sense, and emotional sense. If i'm in a position that's out of my hands, and because its that way will effect me or someone i care about, I'll freak out. The thought of it makes me flustered and scared.
And being restrained or trapped makes me anxious. I have to be free to be comfortable.

Ah, there are too many things I'm afraid of. ^^;; Let me see... the major phobia would be heights, I think. I also hate vertigo with passion; roller coasters are a no-no for me. The funny thing though is that I do enjoy hiking. *shrugs* Um... I'm also afraid of 'people'. I'm not sure how to explain this one. <- don't laugh! x(
I'm weird, I know.

Afraid as in socially or afraid as in paranoid that they're out there to harm you? I know the two tie in somehow, but are still two different reasons.

xD Stalking devs is fun on zOMG!
Well, I guess I'm afraid of being betrayed in terms of trust. ^^;; My experience of it isn't all that great, part of the reason why I'm so shy IRL.
Tornadoes are probably one of my greatest fears too. I've seen video clips of it on tv and it sounds scarier then being crushed alive by an earthquake.
Stalking in general is what I'm mostly afraid of too. I had a nightmare about it a few days ago. D:
Spiders! And bugs. I'll scream if I see them.
