(( This take place immediately after Seaside Hijack. ))
The infirmary at the HQ was one of chaos as the medical staff ran to and fro, grabbing supplies and going to the aid of the wounded.
They had gotten the alert that the raid team was returning with many of the members having sustained serious injuries.
Doctor Reyard was among the mayhem, barking out orders and directing the staff. Soon enough the infirmary was flooded with Rockets as the wounded were hauled. The most seriously wounded took priority and were immediately taken to be treated, while those with lesser wounds were set aside to await treatment.

Kofuku's heart raced like a Rapidash as she found herself in the middle of a medical catastrophy; the infirmary was overflowing with Rockets, and she recognized them to be from the raid that SHE had been supposed to go on. Muttering a series of 'Oh crap's under her breath, she dodged around other nurses and the injured as she attempted to get to where she was being told to go. Her stomach churned a little as she thought about what could have gone wrong, and how she would probably be on the injured side of this spectrum if it hadn't been for the stomach virus she'd had the day before that had made her unfit to be going out.
Now, after having insisted she was recovered and fit for working, she was dressed in scrubs and rushing around in the pandemonium that was the Team Rocket infirmary. Her heart ached as she recognized some of the faces from people she'd run into before, some of them critically injured. This was not good, not good at all. And, to make matters worse, she felt scared for herself and worried that she was going to screw up and cost someone their life. Doubt was starting to creep into her mind, causing her to debate if she was good enough to be working something like this.

"Hey Doc! Someone! We need a hand here!"
One of the people that had gone to recieve the injured raid team rushed in with one of the grunts laided out on a stretcher, uniform torn and air mask over mouth and nose.
The rocket was out cold with good reason. Her right arm look torn apart with multiple bullet wounds; someone had said that she had fallen from the boat on the way here but whether or not anything had broken could not be determined. On her back, just about the pelvic area, was another good set of bullet wounds. Some were clean shots, others not.
She was having a few difficulties breathing so bruised or broken ribs were likely.
Damn cops were too trigger-happy.

Nyx felt ill. She didn't normally feel ill around gore, being a biologist and all, but normally her best friend wasn't lying unconscious on a bed after being full of holes. She sat close by, staying out of the way and trying to calm Jen's Pidgeotto, who was sitting on her shoulder and digging claws into soft places while he worried about his trainer.

Sorano sat in waiting, blubbering like a little idiot (or baby) who just had their candy taken from them. During the giant rendezvous on the boat with the other grunts, he had gotten grazed by a bullet upon the forehead from a very angry cop. However, he was so caught up on adrenaline the pain felt like nothing more than a paper cut. Now that his body had received a chance to calm down, it hurt like HELL! His wound's bleeding had lessened dramatically since the raid but the skin was beginning to inflame by turning puffy and red.
Due to this, the pain made worsened tenfold. He couldn't help if he was such a little girl when it came to pain . . . it just hurt so much. After a moment, he would be fine. A moment later, the poor teal-haired grunt was still weeping into his handkerchief. Not so much the truth, eh?

Doctor Reyard rushed over to the grunts that were being wheeled in. Her first stop was Sorano, who was covered in blood and weeping. She moved to push up his head and quickly looked him over.
"Oh shut it, cry baby. You'll live." She then handed him a white cloth. "Just apply pressure. You can do that right?"
She then rushed over to Jen and Nyx, looking over the bloodied girl with horror. "Great Arceus... Get her into surgery right away!" The doc shouted to some of her staff who quickly wheeled Jen away into another room. "And you... stay put." This being said to Nyx, who would be barred from the operation room.
How was that girl not dead? Either way, she soon would be unless a miracle happened.

Akemi had somehow managed to stay conscious the entire way back, and by some miracle hadn't even fallen off her Charizard even though the left side of her body was now completely numb and unresponsive. Apparently just as she'd taken off, a bullet had hit her right by the spine, and was interrupting her nerval system.
She looked around her, and even though her mind was fuzzy from the pain and the blood loss, one emotion was there: guilt. She felt like everyone's injuries were her fault, since she'd been the last one to turn up at the docks. But at that moment, all she could do was hope that everyone would turn out okay, even though it was obvious there were some serious injuries. A few tears rolled down her cheeks as she lay there, looking over at the other injured Rockets, more and more being brought in as people made it back to the base.

Nyx turned white. Quite an achievement for someone with her skin tone. She was not staying put. As soon as Jen was wheeled away, Nyx stood and stumbled over to a trashcan, where she proceeded to empty her stomach contents.

They'd been through this once before, coming back from the mountain, but any sense of deja vu had been erased by the turbulence of the current scene.
Hayes had escaped unscathed, unless you counted the loss of a glove to staunch Nikki's wound once they were in flight. He'd kept an arm loosely around her to be sure she didn't fall; she'd be mad as hell about that.
Never mind. She'd be mad as hell about everything.
The blond kept close by his partner now, staying to the side of her stretcher with one hand loosely on the side rail while the other, more serious cases were attended to. She'd been wheeled off to one side of the waiting room; all surgeries were full. His expression was serious, brow slightly furrowed as watched Dr. Reyard shout and Jen wheeled past.
Every now and then Hayes glanced down at Nikki; he did so now.

Yamir flailed a bit as his human was wheeled away by other humans. He attempted to follow only to be shooed away by other humans; apparently, wherever they were taking his trainer, he wasnt allowed to follow.
With a unhappy chirp, he flew back to where Nyx was vomiting into a trashcan and landed on the back of a waiting bench. Again, he chirped and stared at the pale human with a great deal of concern. Although the scientist was not his trainer, he was still close to her.
And seeing her like this distressed the former Pidgey a great deal.

As if the girl hadn't been panicking enough on the inside, Jen was taken past her on the way to surgery... or at least that was what she figured since she recognized Nyx, but at this point the bloody mess of a human was impossible to tell. Kofuku stared with wide eyes as she felt her heart stop and for a minute, pure panic over took her; Oh sweet Arceus, what had she gotten herself into?
Remembering to breath, she took a short, gasping breath as she felt the blood rush out of her face. Turning to see who else was being brought in, which had probably been a bad idea considering the disaster the mission seemed to have left the raid group with, she mentally let out a scream. What was she supposed to do?! First aid and CPR training did NOT cover any of this. As she kept herself out of the way of the staff that were moving those that were unconscious and bleeding, the novice nurse wondered if maybe her best move would be going and making sure all the recovery rooms were ready; they were going to probably need all the beds they had.

Emilie waited in the hall, maneuvering out of the way of the rockets streaming into the infirmary from the raid. She'd come straight from her room at the sound of their return, not bothering to change out of her sweats. The pikachu at her side spat the ponytail he was carrying out of his mouth as his trainer finished looping her hair back in a loose braid; the girl made a face at him but took it. As the rush slowed she peered through the door, searching for anyone that looked in charge. If they told her she'd be in the way she would leave, but she was good with her hands... and they looked like they needed all the help they could get.
Leo wove in between the feet of various rockets to get to Sorano's side. He pat the man's leg gently in sympathy. "Chu."

More injured came streaming in. Including one elite agent who barely fit on the stretcher.
He was awake, as his eyes were opened, but seemed to be out of it. Seth was as white as a sheet, while a grunt was holding a bloodied cloth against his side as they brought him in.
An oxygen mask was placed over the elite's face as doctor Reyard quickly looked him over. "Dammit."
The doctor looked around and found Kofuku look dumbfounded. She rushed over to the grunt and grabbed her by a ponytail. "If you're going to work here you need to make yourself useful, especially in a situation like this!" She pulled her over to Seth's stretcher. "He has a ballistic wound to the abdomen, a through and through with a severe amount of blood loss. Make yourself useful and help the nurses set up a transfusion. He's type A negative."
Nikki was looking as sour as ever as she laid on the stretcher. The bleeding from her leg had mostly stopped thanks to her partner's efforts. Still, she was in a considerable amount of pain. But it was made obvious that she was lucky compared to many of the others. Blood streaked her face from the cut on her forehead, staining her blonde hair. She looked a mess, but said little.
However, as Hayes looked down at her, the agent's frown deepened. "Why are you still here? Its not like I'm going to die."

Another stretcher was rushed in with a nurse on the side of the critically injured grunt, trying to keep pressure on both the front and back of the girl's lower torso as blood spilled out on both sides. At least the doctors wouldn't have to worry about removing the bullet that did this, seeing how it made a clean shot into the left side of her lower back and out through the front of her abdomen. However, it was hard to tell where exactly the bullet exited, seeing how the flesh on the rest of her side had been either burned or blown off.
The grunt was out like a light, whether the loss of blood was too great to handle or her body was slowly shutting down. Her spinal chord had been fine for the most part, but it was her organs and lowest set of ribs that received the trauma. Not to mention her entire left arm had nearly been incinerated, as it was now covered in burns. Albeit, it was mainly her forearm that had the skin blasted away.

Patches' breath came out in short, sporadic gasps as he trembled under the bench Yamir was perched on. He definitely wasn't good at handling this kind of turmoil. Explosions, yes. Near-to-dead people, no.

As Akemi and Addison came in. Reyard and another doctor surveyed.
The red headed doctor swore as she saw Addison's wounds and burns. Yet another one that would be incredibly lucky to survive, if she did.
"Get her into surgery as well! I don't care if we have to use a hallway, make room!" That girl would likely need some skin grafts on her arm as well.
Akemi was wheeled off as well. Gunshot wounds were serious affairs, no matter where the bullet hit. And it frustrated the doctor to have to decide who took priority over who due to not having enough space or staff.
Patients like Nikki and Seth would have to wait longer to get patched up. They would just have to be kept stable until proper attention was given them.
