Have any of you guys seen this amazing show? It's been given many rewards because it is so good. I also think it's great because it revolves a lot around Buddhism and ancient teachings, the perfect show for kids, too. It teaches about non-violence. It involves controlling all the elements: earth, water, fire, and air. It teaches about inner technology. It's a wonderful show, and soon to be released into a movie on July 2nd. heart
I just noticed that nobody has said anything about this show, so I went off and decided to do it, myself. :3

From what I saw from the show [seen every episode since it started, even the exclusives on OnDemand when it first came around] it really is deep in Buddhism. I never really knew what Buddhism was until about one to two years ago, so I didn't know at the time; though I did know it was some religion the Air Nomads were practicing. But yes! This show truly shows a lot of it. I love Avatar, I definitely put it on my top favorite shows cool

I think it shows the culture of the East/Buddhism pretty well, but not of Buddhism itself.
Still an awesome show, with great character concepts, and plots!
I don't think the live action movie would compare, but I might go see it.
