Not much is know about the first 4 events since not many of the people that participated in them are still around. If you had been involved before 2007, please let us know! What we know from the 5th event that was posted: AkibeJosephus Once upon a time, back in 2005 (or possibly 2004, my memory is a little rusty), there was the 14 Day Famine. It was a fun event, where Gaians from across the forums took 2 weeks to remove all traces of clothing and items from their avies and strutted their stuff proudly. They raised gold and gave it to the charities and quests they felt needed it most, and then at the end of 2 weeks returned to their items feeling slightly less materialistic and rather good for helping Gaians. I entered the first famine, and then counted the amounts raised for the 2nd one. Finally, I organised the 3rd one and gave it a new name, The Sponsored Nudity Gig. The 4th one never took off as I had to go on holiday just after I created the thread and it died off while I was away.
