One after another,the bodies began to stack up.
A sailor from the docks,a mobster from the mansion,a child from the slums. All murdered in cold blood.
The only thing they have in common,is the name carved into their wrists - their very veins.
"The Jabberwocky." A monster from a fairytale.
Those two words have left the police in confusion - they have given up. The mafia has taken it upon themselves too avenge their fallen comrade the only way they know how- too kill the murderer.

The girl tightened the coat of her baggy business suit around her as she studied the latest body. She pulled her fedora out of her eyes as she peered at it; the body was of a young boy,and heavily mutilated. It was still bound with ropes.The boy was strapped into a chair and appeared to have been tortured heavily and than finished off with a poison,injected into the bloodstream.
Xenia looked away in disgust,as she ordered her men to clean it up.
"Monsters these days..." She growled as she sat on a nearby crate surveying the scene.

Achi had been exploring roofs near the scene and heard Xenia's henchmen. He hopped of the roof next to Xenia. "What happened to..." He noticed 'The Jabberwocky' written on his wrist. "I knew a kid, his body had that on it" Achi pointed at the mark.

Xenia pulled her hat off as she turned to Achi,nodding her head in a greeting.
"You did,huh? There have been countless victims showing up. Some sicko called the Jabberwocky."
She motioned to the body as it was zipped into a body bag. The mafia would be dropping it off at the family's home,or maybe the sea.

Achi motioned to the kid's body "can I have his?" He was a local to the slums, but was always teased. He was probably hiding out from the bullies when it happened.

Xenia motioned to the henchman to bring the body. They set it down next to Achi.
"Go ahead. Poor kid though. He didn't get the worst of it though."
She looked into the distance,spacing out. The other victims had been treated even worse.

Come hear the voices in my head.
 The Jabberwocky watched the investigators from afar by telescope. He was still shaking with joy from the kill- Oh the screams the tiny child had produced! The look on his face was perfect too. The man blinked once,until he had calmed down. The two young ones at the scene seemed to be good choices for next victims. The Jabberwocky,resumed his role as "Aaron the worried citizen" as he walked towards the two.

Achi looked at him. "Who are you?" he asked, looking him up and down not recognizing him as one of Xenia's men.

Xenia's eyes mirrored the dark gloomy sky. She looked up and raised an eyebrow as she ordered her men to depart. She stood up and faced the approaching man.
"Can I help you sir?"

Aaron frowned as he approached them his hands deftly shoving themselves in his pocket. He stopped infront of the two. "Whats going on here,if I may ask? Did something happen?" His eyes roamed the scene behind them; the blood on the doorway and the dark interior of the room.

Achi didn't like this man, then again he didn't like much men...or women for that matter. "Can you leave? We're Busy here, oh and if you hadn't noticed, death happens a lot around here."

Xenia took the man's appearance in. His red ruly hair covered his eyes; that bothered her. Eyes never lied...they always revealed the true emotions and motives.
"A boy just died.This is a crime scene."
She shushed her men as they departed,sending suspicious glances at the man.
"Whatever you say boss." A man named Tony called as he departed,leaving them alone with the man and the body bag.

Aaron blinked slightly. He fluttered his eyelashes,though that was barely noticeable. He pulled his hands from his pockets and tapped his chin in thought. "I think I saw someone out here awhile ago...with a boy maybe." He confided.

Xenia blinked and tilted her head while staring at him. Only one of his eyes was semi visible; she could make out the shape. The man wasn't very strange after all,was he?
"You did,did you?"
She questioned softly.
