The king of the land is stricken with illness. He doesn't have long left to live, and yet he has no male heir. Only four daughters. However these four daughters, Princesses of the Roses, are four of the greatest beauties to ever exist.
The land is threatened by demons. The King needs a strong heir to take his place. And so he decides to hold a battle. A tournament. And the prizes for the four winners will be his daughters' hands in marriage.

-::The Princesses of the Rose::- Bianca, Princess of the White Rose: The eldest of the four Princesses, she is the most beautiful of all. Seeming innocent and quiet, she does not like to argue about anything, merely doing as she is told. However she hides a burning passion and bold personality, hidden by her desire to please people.
Kira, Princess of the Red Rose: The second eldest of the four, Kira is courageous and passionate about everything she does, more outspoken than her elder sister.
Olivia, Princess of the Pink Rose: Third youngest, Olivia has a childlike happiness about her that seems to make everyone surrounding her smile just from being in her presence.
Leandra, Princess of the Orange Rose: Youngest of all, Leandra is curious about everything that goes on anywhere.

Bio:: Tassador grew up training to be the adviser for king's children from birth, and even now plans to help govern all four of them, as well as their eventual husbands.

Personality:: Generally carefree, Shadow's cheery nature is often a mask hiding the distaste he has for the royalty around him. Always helpful, Shadow goes out of his way to be polite and help those in need, especially women. True to his upbringing, Shadow would rather take a knife to the gut before harming a female.
Bio:: Shadow grew up in an eastern barony and has lived the life of royalty his entire life, much to his own despair. Upon hearing of the grand tournament, his father and brother signed him up for it instantly and sent him off.

Personality:: Robert is a rather friendly person who always looks out for the underdogs of society, those people struggling to make ends meet, as well as those who won't give up. He has a burning hatred for demons, especially the one who killed his father. He is nieve when it comes to things like love, but he knows that a woman should always be treated with respect.
Bio:: Robert was forced to live the hard life right from the moment he was born. His mother, a poor but strong-hearted woman, could barely support the both of them, and the birth made her even weaker. Three years later, she passed away when the plague hit. His father raised him from there and taught him how to fight in order to defend himself and others, using nothing more than his hands and feet. His father was from the orient, which made people from the land rather resentful of him, but they all respected him as a fighter.
One day, however, his father was murdered by a demon. Enraged, Robert began leading a life trying to perfect his own style of martial arts so that one day he could get revenge for his father. At the age of 19, he heard of the tournament. For him, it was the perfect way to put all of his lifetime practices to the real test. Having the hand of a princess in marriage was the proverbial icing on the cake. To prove that he was the best and be given a chance to fight against the demons was his main purpose for entering.

Personality:: Matthew is filled with hate for almost all living things for unknown reasons, and thus is moody and uptight most of the time. However, he takes pride and glee in causing others harm, and is quite demented and cheerful when killing or something similar.
Bio:: Not much is known about the old demon except that he has vowed to kill everyone at the newly founded tournament.
