Elda did not like the looks of this place - in fact, everything that she'd seen thus far was not to her liking. She didn't know why she'd left her family other than she'd been so very tired of having to deal with them all the time. Her mother had been an incessant nag, her father a loud mouth punk and her sister she'd deliberately avoided her whole life because she rubbed her the wrong way.

Her father and mother had been the head of the herd and that had only made more problems for her. Elda didn't like people bowing to her every whim - she needed friends who would stand up to her decisions and show that they were actually worth her time and effort. So she’d fled in the dead of night, not even letting anyone know she was going. She’d just left behind the life of delicious crime to head down from the mountains and explore the forests below.

And it sucked. Blowed. Wasn’t interesting in the least. PERFECT! Just what Elda needed – another disappointment. Life was fantastic.
