Ryhdderch was making his way in an ever slow and careful manner through the market place, taking in everything around him, and was being very cautious so as not to step on anything smaller then he was. Given that the man was nearing eight foot tall that was basically everything but he was one who was very careful in everything he did when it involved smaller beings. Even his tail was currently wrapped around his waist to make sure that he didn't accidentally peg anyone with it.

Perched on his normally seat which was the minotaur's shoulder was Rong. As per usual with the boy he was as silent as the grave and his eyes were taking in everything around him as though he were looking down from on high at a bunch of scurrying insects. Not that he was a mean spirited person he just didn't seem to understand most things, especially that starring was rude, and jut seemed to be wanting to take in every last detail of everything that moved. From what his father had noticed the boy seemed to be growing more and more interested in living things, he'd seen him starring at the same flower as moved in the breeze for hours on end as though he were trying to figure out some secret about it.

"You can get anything you want today, I have some extra coin." He told his son, hoping to get a response out of him. After an incident that happen a short time ago he now knew that his son had a voice. For some reason he just never seemed to use that voice. A part of him still wanted to go and visit with Wylde to see if, perhaps, there was something wrong with his son. Given that he was a little afraid of getting bad news where Rong was concerned he continued to put such a meeting off though, always finding an excuse for why they couldn't go and visit that man.

Rong didn't respond or even look at the minotaur though one hand did tighten lightly on his horn where it was resting as though to acknowledge the fact that he'd heard him. It was more of a response then he normally got so Ryhdderch was happy enough and continued on picking his way through the crowd.

It was just Lucille and Claudine today...or rather, Lucille and a black figure. It was bright and sunny out, weather that Claudine would really prefer not to be out in but she had daughters that worked on a daytime schedule; she had to accommodate to their needs and the needs of her beloved if she wanted to be able to spend time with them. Luckily she had a solution! She wore a long dress that reached the ground, one that was thick and wouldn't get any sunlight through it, and boots underneath in case the skirt of her dress was lifted for some reason or another. And then she wore long black gloves that went up past her elbow, and a thick coat to block whatever couldn't be covered by her choice of glove and dress. Then there was the matter of her head...well, that was easily dealt with. A thick, black wide-brimmed hat with a thick black veil long enough to hang past her shoulders. It was so thick you could barely make out the silhouette of her face, which was good. It needed to be that thick. It was a startling contrast from the owner of the little hand she was holding though, a cheerful and excited little girl with ringlet curls and a purple dress, a teddy bear held securely in her other arm. "So what should we get Mommy?" Lucille asked excitedly, looking up at the veiled figure of her mother beside her. Claudine hummed thoughtfully, looking around. That's right, they were here to find a present for Arianna; her birthday was coming up. Bernadette wanted to make her present, and Lucille wanted to see if they could find something here. Claudine already had her gift for her lover.

"That is up to you, darling. We can look around until we find something you think she will like." Claudine said gently, smiling behind her veil. The two continued to walk along through the crowd, Lucille making them stop several times to look at something that had caught her eye. So far mostly things she liked got her attention so far. She was starting to feel a little guilty for not finding anything for Arianna yet. Claudine merely chuckled and shook her head, carefully squeezing Lucille's hand with affection. She was getting better at paying attention when she did things like that. "Take your time, Lucille. We are not in a rush."

"Okay." Lucille chirped, looking at a pair of pretty amethyst earrings. Maybe Mommy would like those? A large shadow passing b them though got her curious, blinking and looking up to find a large...cow man? With a boy on his shoulders! She gasped softly and hugged Gary tightly against her chest, squeezing Claudine's hand. "Mommy, look! He's a cow man!" Lucille called out loud enough for her mother to hear her over the noisy crowd, the large minotaur could probably hear her as well. Claudine made a soft shushing noise.

"That isn't very polite, Lucille." She told her quietly. Lucille blinked, looking both confused and embarrassed.

"But--" Claudine bent down enough to lightly press her gloved fingers to Lucille's lips, shushing her softly once again. Yeah, so? What did it matter? Lucille wasn't being polite, and while she didn't care to be polite to a man she still needed to teach the girl to properly behave in public.

Ryhdderch turned his head when he heard someone talking in an excited manner about a 'cow man' and was quite certain that the girl was talking about him. It took him only a moment to find the girl and he lifted one large hand to give the little girl a wave. He was a pretty laid back creature and couldn't really be made upset by something so simple.

Rong seemed to not wish to be bothered with something as simple as making friends with the girl but when his father waved to her he did lift his left hand to turn it toward Lucille to get a look at her with the golden eye that was located on the palm of his hand. He watched her that way for a long and drawn out moment before slowly he turned to stare at her with is other eyes, chocolate brown ones that didn't seem to blink as he watched the girl that was down a good distance below him. He watched for a while and just the mere fact that he showed even the slightest of interest in anything had the minotaur rather excited. He lifted a hand up to wrap it carefully around his son's waist and lowered him to the ground on his own two feet so he could approach the girl if he so felt like it.

Instead Rong found himself a tad annoyed that he was taken down off his perch, it made him feel very short, something he wasn't fan of. On top of that he was farther from the sky that he felt that he should be closer to despite his lack of wings. His eyes finally blinked, all three of them in sync but never looked away from Lucille with any of them.

"Rong... Please don't stare." Ryhdderch had to remind his son, giving him the slightest of nudges.
