Good Morning - Ohayou / Ohayou gozaimasu
Good Afternoon - Konnichiwa
Good Evening - Kon Ban Wa
Good night (to sleep) - Oyasuminasai. (oh-yah-soo-mee-nah-sigh)
Hello - Konnichiwa/Mushi Mushi (On Phone)
Good Bye - Sayonara; Sore dewa
Goodbye. (long-term) - Sayōnara. (sa-YOH-nah-rah)
Goodbye. (informal) - Sore dewa. (SOH-reh deh-wah)
See Ya - Ja na / Ja ne
Hey - Ne
Why - nande / doushite *note - there's a slight diff b/w the two but im nt very sure sbout it)
Thank you - Arigato(thank you) / Arigato Gozaimasu(thank you very much)? Domo Arigato Gozaimasu(most formal)

From what I understand なんで is less formal than どうして.

And you left out なぜ.

From what I understand なんで is less formal than どうして.

And you left out なぜ.

どうして is basically the "official" word for "why", while なんで and なぜ are more slang-ish.
