As a participant arrow Read all eventual rules in the thread before posting in a thread.
arrow If you think a thread breaks with gaia ToS or just the guild rules, please either inform the thread owner or a crew member.
arrow If you lose a contest, please don't throw a fit over it. There will be more contests in the future :')
As a thread host arrow Remember to write out any rules you might need and to make sure you have reserved all the posts you may need. Any member can make a thread here.
arrow If you are going to give out prizes, please send the prize
to the guild mule, Captain-Aquarium, for safe-keeping. That way you and the participants will know that the prices are there for the winner. Exceptions made for prizes that can't be prepared, like gift art.
However, if it is said that the winner will get to choose an item for x amount of gold, then that amount of gold should be sent to the guild mule.
arrow If you are using gift art as a prize, please provide a link to at least three pictures that represents your art. The winner should get art of the same quality as these pictures. It should go unsaid that it has to be your own art.
arrow Be aware that when you are hosting a contest you will have to pick a winner even if you like all entries just as much. It's hard, but it has to be done.
arrow Label your trade carefully! The trade label should include the name of your thread and specify that it is prizes for the winners.
