Moxii: -stretches and rises from the den she's slept in -- separate from the one she lead Bishop to -- and remembers yesterday with a flipflopping heart. Oh my... Cave exploring. What had she gotten herself into?-
Bishop: -had risen quite early with his mind turning over and over the exploration today, he hadn't slept well in anticipation, when he spots Moxii raises his tail and trots over offering her a hare he had caught that morning and nudges it toward her- I was up early so I went for a small hunt. I already ate, so I brought you something as well. -waves his tail proudly-
Moxii: -blushes and drops her eyes and head, sniffing at the hare with a nervous smile... He had to be a gentleman... She could seriously fall for a guy like that. No. Moxii, just stop it, her mind chides. He's probably hiding something dangerous- Th-Thank you, Bishop... -lays down to eat, watching him even as she strips meat from bone-
Bishop: -sits and allows Moxii the time to eat while he groomed himself a bit, ridding himself from the dirt from the hunt, preferring his pelt to be fairly clean even though his paws were dark and often hid most dirt, the rest of him often showed any speak of debri a little too well. Finally standing he shook himself out and yawned and stretched- It's no trouble really. It's the least I can do for you bringing me here.
Moxii: -finishes the hare and as he stands suddenly, she spooks a little, dropping her head once more- S-Sorry. Jumpy. I dunno why, I'm just jumpy all the time -begins to rattle on, then stops herself, sitting down quite gracefully- Well...I'm glad you like my home... -almost finds herself saying "I hope you stay, I could use a friend" but bites it back and smiles instead- Sleep well?
Bishop: -blinks his big brown eyes at her and dacked his ears slightly- It's fine, sorry I startled you. -offers a friendly smile and wags his tail- I love it here already, but no...I can't say I slept all too well last night. Too excited I guess, nice to know I'm not alone for once or that someone might turn and try to kill me in my sleep. -nods his head and shrugs, he had always worried of his mother killing him in his sleep, luckily that fate had never become him or his siblings-
Moxii: -grins at him, wagging her tail as she nodded, coming out of her shell a little bit, although it was obvious it would take all the right moves to keep her open and willing to play- I'm nervous -admits sheepishly- The idea of getting lost in the caves scares me... -But you won't be alone... You'll have your knight in shining armor, her mind taunted her a little viciously and Moxii dropped her ears- Ready then? It's up in the cliffs, so we've got a long journey ahead of us.
Bishop: -nods his head- It's fine...We'll be fine though, I have a fairly good memory and we won't have to go in too far that we could even chance getting lost. -gives a reassuring smile and looks around, wondering which direction they needed to head in to start of on this new adventure- I'm ready when you are, and that's fine. Been around the mill a few times so a good climb won't bother me any. -licks his nose in excitement as his paw shift back and forth with his anticipation-
Moxii: -smiles at him; well good, he wasn't a directional idiot then! Good news for her. She wagged her tail, then glanced back at the dens- Hold on...lemme tell Momma where we're going. -prances off quickly and comes back a few moments later- Okay. -takes a deep breath- We're going this'a'way. C'mon, Bishop... -How she wanted to call him a nickname. Bishie, Bishbish...something cutesy. But she felt she didn't know him enough to bestow upon him a nickname, so she just nodded and headed for the cliffs, which were by the beach-
Bishop: -he waited for her to say fairwell to her mother, he had no idea she had shared the den, but that was no matter. It wasn't unusal in the least for families to share dens for large expenses of time or even bring their mates in and raise their own families when the den was big enough- Okay! -yips slightly and bounds after Moxii with his tail flying a mile a minute as he pranced about the female, humming slightly to himself. He wanted to say something, ask something but his mind was so drenched with the excitement he had a hard time thinking straight- So what's in the caves? -finally came up with a question, and a vague one at that making him feel almost stupid-
Moxii: -giggles at his exuberance, feeling comfortable in his presence, strangely- Well. Lotsa ceiling icicles made of stone. They got a name, but I don't know it. And water... It's very pure water, beautiful water... -nods- Maybe ghosts? -gets a chill- it seems spooky anyways. Maybe we shouldn't go... -sudden fretfulness, she needed to get a freaking grip- No... We'll be fine, Right? -looks nervously towards him-
Bishop: -mulls over the idea of all these interesting things he had never seen before- I've heard of those once before.. I dunno what they're called either. -nudges her slightly with his maw and smiles- Hey we'll be fine, if there are any ghost I'll run them off myself. We'll be perfectly fine, I won't let anything happen; I promise. -smiles brightly and wags his tail sniffing around slightly, still taking in his new surrounds and what was to continue to be his new home-
Moxii: -had the sudden feeling of safety as he promised her this and blushes, looking away quickly. Why did she have to think he was cute, anyways? Boys were troublesome... Look at her brothers! They never got OUT of trouble.. Okay, like she was one to talk... She shakes her head and giggles softly- Okay, Bishop. I trust you. Let's go. -begins to pick her way up the cliffs, hopping from stone to stone like a cat-
Bishop: -follows after Moxii, not as gracefully though with his fairly larger size and makes his way up more like a goat, but with enough care that he was strong in his steps- Boy this is gonna be a climb isn't it? -his tongue lolls out of his mouth and he continues slower than Moxii but keeping up well enough that he wouldn't lose her as they continued the climb- So, this cave, it's real big...like way bigger that the largest dens? -tilts his head, trying to grasp the idea of these cave-
Moxii: -doesn't dare look down or over at him- Big. Like...massive. -at least it had been to them as puppies...her and Vegas, the boy she thought she'd end up being mates with, but he'd poofed like magick. He never came back to visit her... but it wouldn't have worked anyways. He was in the enemy pack, the pack Akiiki was brewing war with. Moxii bit back a whine at the idea of bloodshed and kept trucking on. Finally after what seemed like an eternity, they reached the top and there was the gaping mouth of the cave, growling at her. Shivering, she glanced back at Bishop- This is it...
Bishop: Woow... -keeps himself quiet for the sake of saving his breath as the climb continued. Once Moxii had reached the top he had still been a few feet below her making his own way up when she said that they had reached the cave, a flutter ran through him; be it excitement or a touch of fear he wasn't sure regardless he pushed forward finally crossing the threshold to stand next to Moxii- Holy... damn you weren't kidding this thing is massive... -licks his nose again and nudges Moxii slightly, preparing himself for the journey; it was no wonder Moxii was a little nervous about this, but no matter he'd promised he wouldn't let anything happen to her-
Moxii: -smiles and ducks her head, but her tail is wagging back and forth excitedly even as she swallows the nervous lump in her throat- Let's go explore then. And if we die... I guess we died for a reason? -laughs a little but it's very small, as she slips inside the cave. Several feet in, and they were surrounded by silence except for the dripping of water and wind echoing softly through the cave- Ooh...spooky... -bumps against Bishop accidentally-
Bishop: Yeah...but I don't think we'll die. Can't think that way, it's not good for the mind. -nods his head assuringly, he never liked to think in a negative manner, not after coming fromt he family that he had; keeping positive was probably what had kept him sane- Just a little, but you get passed it I guess. -looks down spooking slightly when Moxii bumped into him, but he could tell she was nervous so he stayed very close to her brushing his hip against her to let her know he wasn't going anywhere. Everything was so foreign, as though they had stepped into a whole other world that just made the mind spin with sensation- Once you get passed the creepiness, it's actually kinda cool in here...-grins-
Moxii: S-Sorry... My mind tends to think negatively... -blushes again and continues to walk, claws clicking on the cool stone floor. They pass a crevice of water, the liquid dripping off the stalactite and into the water, making drop-sounds. Lowers her head to the water, lapping up the coolness and letting it soothe her tight throat- It is... Creepy-cool, but cool. -so far in that she can no longer see the light, though her eyes have adjusted to the darkness and she can see shapes- It's pretty... -sneaks a glance at Bishop, smiling; to be honest, he was pretty too..- Why did you want to come on an adventure with me of all people? -curious-
Bishop: Don't apologize, there's no need for it. -smiles as his own eye adjust to the lack of light, he watched as Moxii drank from the water and leaned over himself to drink formt he cool water, letting it sooth his parched throat from the climb, it had taken more out of him than he expected it would- Yeah, but hey, I bet it gets better the farther you go in. -licks his maw and go back to drinking more of the cool water as Moxii snuck a glance at him without him being aware, but when her question stuck him his looked up with his maw dripping with the water, his brown eyes wide- Well...why not come with you? I mean...it's not like I really know anyone else. Besides you seemed like a lot of fun, and I'm having fun, you are too, right? -tilts his head- now that he really looked at her, she was very pretty, his mind had been in such a haze he'd overlooked her in some ways, mostly physically. Their colors were so similar, yet different, and she had the most beautiful markings on her paws; so unlike his bland black legs-
Moxii: -pulls her ears back at the idea of her being fun; her the stick in the mud...but then again, here she was, out exploring with a near stranger and a male one that she was attracted to at that. Maybe she was a little crazy...maybe her rogue of a father had rubbed off on her without her even ever knowing his name- I'm having fun... -she breathes it out softly, their noses almost touching, her silver eyes locking with his brown ones-
Bishop: I'm glad, wouldn't be too good if you weren't you know...I'd feel really bad. -tries not to blink almost as though they are playing a game of stares even though he knows that it was far from the case. He'd never met eye to eye with another before in his life, it could be a dangerous thing with the wrong wolf, but in this case it was completely safe as Bishop was far from aggressive in nature- You have pretty eyes you know that? -licks her nose gently and sits back on his haunches and tiltes his head a little, the more he looked at her, the more he felt himself drawn to her as though by some strange force, maybe it was just the effect of having someone to be around after roaming for so long, but it felt more than that, he liked having her attention drawn to him and centered on him-
Moxii: -blushes and pulls away as he tells her she has pretty eyes and licks her affectionately, then she shoots him a smile over her shoulder- So do you... -laughs softly and continues on, tail wagging- I've never really thought about a boyfriend before...but if I had to choose someone...I'd choose someone like you. -softly spoken, almost nervous to see how he'd react as they winded through the cave's passages-
Bishop: -smiles back and follows after her- These dirty things? -laughs and wags his tail trotting happily at her side and listens to her contently- Why someone like me? I'm just...well..I'm just me. I've never though about girlfriend though. Could be because I've never really been around other wolves so it wasn't exactly something to consider. But, I guess if I had to pick someone, it'd have to be someone like you. -grins to himself and then back at Moxii, he was silently recording in the back of his mind all of the turns and twists they were taking in the cave, he had said he wouldn't let them get lost either and that was one of the last things he wanted was to be lost in a dark cave this damn big-
Moxii: -giggles as his words bring heat to her face. For once her mind was silent, not taunting her or critisizing her for being friendly, just quiet... She could get used to the silence- I don't know... You're... -squeaks out the next word- handsome and big and you don't have a mean bone in your body... You make me feel...at ease. And I don't feel that way often... Really. I'm usually alot more scatterbrained and nervous than this. I typically can't quit talking around guys...and I've only been around a few other than my crazy brothers... -falls into step beside him, bumping against his shoulder- Do you...ever...maybe... -mind scatters and she pulls her ears back and her tail down, stopping mid-stride- Would you ever wanna...you know... be more than friends? Someday...maybe?
Bishop: -listens silently to her, somewhat amazed as she opened up to him, in a way it felt like watching a flower bloom for the first time into this glorious little thing. He'd never though of himself as calming force of any sort, if anything he was just as scatterbrained and over talkative, and that was around anyone, more rather; anything that was within earshot of him as he had long learned from being alone. but he smiled at her as she bumped into him and stopped herself mid-step- I'm glad I make you feel that way, never thought of myself as anything special; rather just thankful my brains are all there. -sits down and lowers his head and smiles at her- Would you want that Moxii? I think what you want would be a little more important to me.
Moxii: -stares at him, nibbling on her tongue until it's semi-raw, pulling her ears back and her head down a fraction but never lets her gaze away from him; would she want them to be something? a couple? possibly mates in the future? She'd never seen herself compatible with anyone before, not since she'd become an adult... She always just figured she'd live out her days a barren female, living with her mother who, while she may've been mother-of-the-year materiel, she wasn't good with men (obviously) and slowly, she smiles- Yes... I'd like that, Bishop... I'd like it alot... -smiles sheepishly at him- And you...could stay with me? In Akiiki Chibale? ...if you wanted.
Bishop: -grins at her goofily and wags his tail nudging her face with his, though he'd never thought of the mate, it was appealing, and he could already tell he liked Moxii a lot and by the seems of it she felt the same for him. He couldn't complain, he'd had similar fears in the back of his mind, that he'd be a lonely male merely wandering about for the rest of his life, while his parents had been clearly insane and his siblings having picked up on their mental downfalls, he alone had a real chance at living a normal life and he longed for such a thing and here he could have that, with Moxxi, with her pack. He could finally be apart of something greater than just himself and have a larger purpose.- Well, I would like it a lot as well. I'd love to stay with you in Akiiki Chibale.
Moxii: -feels her heart swell with happiness and she steps a little closer, nudging her face under his neck, breathing in his fur for a moment, the musk and male scent that filled her nose and both scared and excited her- Good... I'm glad! -gives a winning grin, then prances away with bounce in her step- Let's keep going. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! -pads off with a happy feeling in her heart; wait til she told Momma...-
