Dormant mist: Dorms Most Mist shinobi live in the dorms when they aren't away on missions. Each room contains, at the minimum, a fully functional bathroom, one bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen. The rooms are free to all shinobi and have few differences in terms of quality; although, higher ranked shinobi do tend to get the better and bigger rooms. The size of the room that is given is also determined by the number of people that are planning to live together in one apartment. In terms of style, most of the rooms follow the traditional Japanese style in terms of design while maintaining all of the amenities of modern-day life. However, there are a couple of apartments that use a more Western style for those who prefer it.

Matsuya rolled over in his bed for what seemed like the hundredth time that night. It was his own fault he couldn't sleep. His 2 hour naps during the day were starting to take their toll on his sleep cycle. This is getting old. He sat up and rubbed his eyes. His apartment was the same as always: four small rooms. Matsuya's set up worked for his life style, a hopeless romantic who wanted nothing more to think. This meager apartment fufilled his needs, so he couldn't complain.
Matsuya slid himself off the low bed he was laying on and staggered to the bathroom. After taking care of his business, he looked in the mirror. No change there either. Still a glassy eyed, silver haired teenager. He ran a hand through his hair, doing the best he could to tame the mess of short silver hair. "How on earth are you still single my friend? Not from lack of trying, I can tell you that much." Matsuya chuckled as he talked to himself and walked back to his bedroom. He slipped into his cargo pants and tshirt, both black. He'd recieved a notice earlier that the new Mizukage was arriving and that all available shinobi were to meet him. He was still boggled by the fact that the man was a Suna shinobi. Matsuya was among the brightest in his academy class, so he knew that the two villages had never been on good terms. It was strange that the former Mizukage, Zane Hajime, had named one of Suna's people Mizukage. Matsuya slipped his left arm into a sleeve of his robe and tucked the other arm into a sash he'd tied to his waist. He also buckled his sword belt under the sash, letting his katana rest at his side. He sighed and looked out the window.
Once again, no change. It was dark and, of course, misty. His eyes had long ago adjusted to the mist, but he still had trouble seeing through it sometimes. Now's as good as any other time I suppose. He turned the light in his room off and walked into the dark living room of his apartment. Matsuya slipped his boots and pulled his key off a small hook he'd fitted next to the door. He opened the door to his apartment, stepped into the hall, and closed the door again. He locked it and tucked the key into his projectile pouch, which he'd sewed into the left side of his robe. Matsuya gave his eyes a minute to adjust to the dim lighting that lit the hallway and started to walk quietly. It was his guess that a good portion of the tenants were actually asleep, unlike him. He slipped out of the building's main entrance and onto the main street of the village.

Kiyoko stepped into the dorm area with Matsuya. She yawned a little bit and ran a hand through her black hair. She was rather tired. She stopped in the hallway and turned to Matsuya. She was happy she had made a new friend.
Well I guess I'll see you in the morning. We can meet out here if you want,or you can just come to my dorm when you're ready. I get up super early anyway so i'll be up. She explained. to him looking around. She was glad she could speak mentally, no lights were on which meant almost everyone else was asleep. She wouldn't want to wake them.

Matsuya followed behind Kiyoko until they got to the dorms. He glanced at the building and nodded, the smile still planted on his face. Barely any lights were on. It'd be a shame to wake somebody up so Matsuya just used his thoughts to speak to Kiyoko. Alright. But which dorm is yours? Mines up on the second floor, room 354. Shouldn't be hard to find. Matsuya's eyes returned to Kiyoko as he spoke mentally. She seemed much more tired than he was. But then again, she probably didn't sleep for 2 hours during the day.

Kiyoko nodded when he told her what room he was in. She was downstairs.
I'm downstairs room 108. She responded. I'm close to the front of the building. She pointed around the corner to show the general direction she was in. Well I guess I should get going. she told him. Pleasant dreams. She added before turning and walking down the hall running a hand through her hair and yawning. She really needed to start staying up later than this. But she wanted to have lots of rest for in the morning.

Matsuya nodded. See you tommorow then, Kiyoko. Matsuya started to walk slowly up the stairs of the dorm building. He really would hate to be on the recieving end of some tired chunnin's anger. His right hand fished into the half of the robe he still wore, trying to find his equipment pouch and the key it contained. As he neared the door to his dorm, he finally procured the key and put it in the lock. He turned the key until it stopped and then pulled it out as he opened the door. He sighed as he slipped his boots off. "Long night. I've had worse though." He dropped the ring of the key onto the hook next to the door and locked the door again.
Matsuya walked to his bedroom, loosening the sash and belt that were around his waist until they were both being held in his hand. He slid the katana out of the belt and rested it next to his bed. He let the belt and sash hang at the end of the bed, draping over the edge. He sat at the edge of the bed, looking out the window for a minute. Matsuya ran a hand through his silver hair and then opened the drawer of the small nightstand next to his bed. Inside was a faded, folded picture. He took it out and looked at it. It was a picture of him and his parents. He was only 9 when it was taken, a year before they died. The Matsuya in the picture's face was split ear to ear in a wide grin. He'd been happy back then. The present-day Matsuya had barely smiled until tonight. That would have to change. Matsuya flipped the picture over. On the back, written in small writing was a note. "Dearest Matsuya, never forget that we'll always love you, no matter what. - Mom and Dad" The present-day Matsuya smiled lightly. "You too guys." There were also three small names next to a date in the bottow corner. Amane, Hiro, and Matsuya. September 3rd. Matsuya's birthday.
Matsuya slipped the picture back into the drawer and layed back on his bed. He closed his eyes and ran through the night in his head. He'd learned a lot in such a small amount of time. He'd learned about his fellow genin and the new Mizukage. He'd also made a friend. Matsuya lay there for what seemed like a few seconds until the dark embrace of sleep finally found him.

Kiyoko walked into her own dorm room and sighed leaning against the door. She closed her eyes and rested her head against the door. She let the events of tonight go again through her head before walking over and laying down on her bed. She looked through her open window up into the sky, where again there was nothing but mist. She refused to let her thoughts wonder into too complicated things. In the clouds of mist she formed shapes for a while until she got to sleepy to see. Closing her eyes she drifted into a restless sleep. Dreaming of that night so many years ago when she did nothing to help her parents. Dreams shifting into shady monsters of her own making, only allowing her a little bit of rest in between dreams.

Matsuya woke after what seemed like minutes. He would have slept longer, but the open window provided the morning sun the perfect chance to wake him. He slowly opened his eyes, keeping them squinted to keep the sun out.By his guess, it was late morning. Matsuya rolled onto his back and sighed. "And just when dreaming was starting to look good." He slumped off the bed and dragged his half-asleep body to the bathroom. He took a cold shower, attempting to wake himself up. Kiyoko must be up by now. Matsuya was fairly sure that no one could sleep in as long as he could, no matter how long the night. This habit had made him late to a number of things over the past few years.
Matsuya looked in the mirror and ran a hand through the mess of silver hair on his head. Starting to get curly again, needs a trim. He walked back to his bedroom and dressed in pretty much the same clothes he'd worn last night. They were fresh clothes, but still the same. He walked into the living room, tieing the sash and katana belt as he went. Matsuya opened the small fridge in his kitchen. There was barely anything inside, he'd have to buy more later. He sighed again and went to slip on his boots. He grabbed his key, unlocked the door, exited the apartment, and locked the door again. Matsuya owned nothing of value, but he was insistant on his security.
As Matsuya walked down the stairs he saw a few academy students rush by in a hurry. Apparently I'm not the only one who slept in a little late. Matsuya's small smile framed his face as he searched the hallway for Kiyoko's apartment. It didn't take long. She hadn't lied, it was close to the front of the building. Matsuya hit his knuckles against the door of room 108. He stood, leaning against the wall near the door. He was lazy, even for the small amounts of time it took to stand and wait, another bad habit of his.
(once again, yay for RPC dev. And yeah, I've been busy too. No worries)

Kiyoko had been up an hour before the sun rose. Her dreams had caused her to wake up earlier than usual but she didn't mind. She wanted a break from the memories. She got up and took a very long shower washing away how sleepy she was, and the stress of her dreams. After finishing her shower she dressed in clothes much the same as the day before. As usual her mind began to wonder.
Matsuya will be asleep now. I wonder if he will actually come by She wondered as she brushed through her dark hair. She remembered the conversation she had had the night before and smiled a little bit. He was a nice friend. But there was still a lot she wanted to learn about him. She looked out her window and realized the sun had been up only a little while. She had some waiting to do before Matsuya got here.
She made her bed and sat in the center of it closing her eyes. She liked to do this sometimes. She would close her eyes and try to relax. Being a Mayu her mind was constantly with thought and ideas and memories as well as voices. She liked trying to calm it all down sometimes. So she took deep breaths and thought maybe this time she would try to look back on what happened. Maybe she could figure out more about what happened.
She was shocked when she heard the knocking on her door and could hear kids down the hall suddenly. Images of then erased from her mind as she smiled and hopped up to get the door. Seeing Matsuya she smiled waving.
Hey there! she said cheerily unaware that her mental voice was a bit loud this morning and would probably surprise him.

Matsuya's eyes snapped to Kiyoko as she greeted him. She was louder today, maybe happy. His small smile stayed put as he began to speak. "Hi, Kiyko. Sorry for the lateness. I guess I actually slept last night." Matsuya grinned and scratched the back of his head in embarrasment. "So how about that celebratory lunch? My treat." Matsuya's parents hadn't left him much in the way of wealth, but he got by well enough. And a lunch with a new friend was well worth any price in his mind. "We can go to the restaurant by the beach. It's got good food and there's usually some seats outside." Matsuya's smile had never left his face. Today was the first day in a long time that he actually thought might be fun.

Kiyoko smiled at him as she explained to her why she was so late. She simple laughed a little. He had told her last night that she would be late so she hadn't minded at all. She was glad he could get some sleep. He mentioned that lunch and she nodded pushing her door open a bit so he could come in if he wanted. She ran back to slide her shoes on.
Sounds like a great plan to me. After we eat, why don't we try stopping by the tower again. I'm sure things are cleared up now.
She explained to him as she ran back to the door and closed it. She was exited about today. She hoped the kage wouldn't be too busy.

Matsuya nodded as she said they should try the Tower again when they were done with lunch. "I need to get back to training again. I've been lazy lately." Matsuya started walking. He'd take the lead this time, a follower though he was. "Let's go, Kiyoko." Matsuya looked back at her, a grin plastering his face. "I'm hungry." With that, Matsuya walked out of the bulding and started walking towards restaurant.

Kiyoko nodded and followed him as he began to leave. He was right, they both needed to get some training done. She then frowned scolding herself for having read thoughts he wasn't Trying to share with her. She sighed and wondered if she should walk or levitate. Levitating is less tiring.

Mileena Mayu ~ Genin ~ Mayu Bloodline ~ Kirigakure ~
They both arrived at the Dorms, and the first thing Mileena noticed was another Nero standing at the entrance without a sound. He was obviously the clone that Nero had sent to the Mizukage in their stead, and so he must be back with information for them. She walked over to him and stood in silence, waiting for him to say his fill.

Nero's clone looked up at Nero and Mileena then nodded. "Two D rank credits for Nero. Two D rank credits for Mileena. Deil says good job." The clone said, vanishing in a puff of smoke. Nero looked up at Mileena. "Not bad for a days worth of work, eh?" He said, grinning. He yawned, sleepily.
