The Hangout: Restaurant Being right next to the ocean, Kirigakure is famous for its fresh seafood, and there's no better place to try some of it in than at The Hangout, a casual restaurant located near the beach. With a wide variety of food ranging from ramen to curry--and not all of them necessarily has seafood in them, although the majority do--The Hangout is just as popular with visitors as with the people who live in the village. Although most of the seats are inside, there are a couple outdoor seats for those who would like to eat in the Mist. As stated before, the arrangement is casual but polite and neat at the same time.

Matsuya entered the restaurant and stood near the door. He hated public places during the day. To many people were around to look at him. If there was one thing Matsuya absolutely couldn't stand, it was being stared at. It had gotten old over the course of his life. So he waited outside for Kiyoko in the mist. He began to whistle a small tune while waiting.

Kiyoko appeared out of breath as she ran up to him. She was smiling though and he would be able to hear that she was laughing, So at least she was okay. She ignored the people lingering around.
I'm sorry matsuya. I got distracted and walked somewhere else and got seperated. She was smiling.Guess I think to much huh? She smiled and then looked at the restaurant. Shall we go inside?

Matsuya smiled and stopped whistling his tune as Kiyoko explained that she'd been seperated. That's all right, Kiyoko. I think too much too. Matsuya opened the door to the restaurant and entered, leading the way again. He stopped infront of the counter and looked at the man behind it. "I'll take a bowl of shrimp over rice and vegetables." The man nodded curtly and then looked at Kiyoko expectantly. Matsuya glanced at her aswell. He realized that she couldn't answer in the way the man would expect. Well Kiyoko, we have two choices. I order for you, or you give this guy a little scare. Matsuya's face split into a small grin as he thought that last part. Either of the options, no matter which she chose would no doubt entertain Matsuya.

Kiyoko was thinking about it as soon as Matsuya began to order his food. She Liked the idea of startling the man but she also wanted to listen to him contemplate why she didn't Oder for herself. She smiled too. You can order for me, the same thing you're having is fine with me. She told him looking around absently. Today already seemed to be rather interesting.

Rios slowly closed the door behind him as he entered the restaurant, the handsome bronzed skin man had both of his arms full with brown paper sacks of groceries. Tea and coffee were the most noticeable goods that the Nara bore amongst his goods. He waddled through the chairs the were pushed up into the tables and made his way over to the bar at the far end of the restaurant to sit by the best chef in all of Kiri, Nikko. Rios plopped down his bags on the countertop as he sat don on the stool and he leaned forward to rest his elbows on the bar. He didn't need to look at the menu due to him being a regular customer, and Nikko already knew what he wanted. He knew it would take a couple minutes in order for his food to be brought to him, so he just sat in silence and stared as his shoes until something else would capture his mind.

Matsuya smirked and nodded as Kiyoko allowed him to order for her. Alright then. He returned his gaze to the man, his smile still in place. "She'll have the same." Matsuya then put the money down on the counter. The man gave them both a strange look and then went about the business of having their food made. A few minutes later, he returned and put two bowls and two glasses down on the table. There were also a pair of chopsticks resting on the top of each bowl. Matsuya took his bowl and glass, looking at Kiyoko as he did. So where do you want to sit?

Kiyoko smirked a little bit at the mans reaction to Matsuya ordering for her. As he turned to make their food she turned to gaze at the man who had just entered. He seemed rather...interesting. Why he carried so much, interested her. She didn't like to pry into peoples minds, but seeing as how he didn't know what she was, she didn't think he would be blocking her right now. Listening for a bit nothing of interest was going through his mind. Matsuya asked where she would like to sit and she nodded towards a table behind the man near the window.
I enjoy looking out windows, she explained to him with a small smile as she picked up her food.

Something did capture the mind of Rios, as he stared not blinking at his shoes. He train of thought was caught by the small dirt stains for what he thought was from his previous mission patrolling the water country's docks. The occasional smuggler and pirate was a common set thing to see on a typical day, but he was so excited this morning, when his personal sets of tea shipped in, it was nothing interesting and he preferred to pick it himself, but he had deliveries around town that he had to make. Such was his family's business.
He was jarred back to reality as a bowl was placed in front of him by a rather busy Nikko. Something about it made his mind take a quick left turn towards who he wondered was running this place. 'This Place, hmm, I heard there was a new Mizukage, wonder what he is like. Heard he was a suna-nin. Maybe I should ask the fellow kiri-nin behind me, nah, they are on a date. It would be rude to bother them. Did they pledge loyalty to the Suna-nin, I wouldnt, my loyalty remains with my family, and friends. Too bad I have so few friends though. But My countrymen, I owe it to them. They are whom with my loyalty lies.'
Rios's spiky black hair didn't really stand out from the rest of his outfit of a Kiri tan colored shirt and black pants with his assorted ninja tools. Nodded his head in a silent prayer, which made his spiky hair wave in motion too. He slide his bowl closer to him and broke his chopsticks and dug into the ramen and rice bowl before him.

Matsuya nodded and walked his things over to the table Kiyoko had motioned to. He eyed the man sitting at the bar's back as he walked. The man was obviously one of Kiri's shinobi, just like them. But Matsuya didn't know him personally. There were to many people to keep track of for him to know everyone in the village, living or dead. Matsuya sat at the table and looked at his meal. Normally, he didn't eat this well. He also couldn't cook that well, probably the explanation to the former problem. Matsuya broke his chopsticks and slowly started to eat his food, his eyes straying from the man to Kiyoko. In all actuallity, he didn't know that much about her.

Kiyoko had began to eat her meal as Matsuya sat down. It was very good ramen, and she ate out often, so she had had this before. She was listening to a little of what the other nin had been thinking. She smirked a little bit and looked at Matsuya.
He thinks the two of us are on a date She liked Matsuya but not in that way. He was a nice friend but at the moment she wasn't looking for a relationship. She told him glancing at the kiri in she was talking about. He seemed to have rather interesting thoughts, and she wondered if he would ask his questions. She was rather curious about him, and assumed he wasn't keen of the idea of having a sand as kage. She wasn't against it but she wasn't with it either. She wasn't sure where she stood at the moment. She looked at Matsuya.
He is a very curious person and has some questions. Do you think I should say anyhing? she asked a bit intrigued. And matsuyas thoughts as well. He seemed a bit more cautious today. She wondered why.

Matsuya's face went blank. He slowly chewed and swallowed the last bits of what was in his mouth. He does? Well then, that's interesting. Matsuya took another few bites of his shrimp and then glanced at the man's back. Kiyoko was Matsuya's first friend. And even him, the hopeless romantic, wasn't about to ruin that over something as uncertain as a relationship.
It's up to you if you answer his thoughts. Take it slow, though. You don't want him thinking he's crazy. I almost thought I was at first. Matsuya's face broke into a small grin as his eyes returned to Kiyoko. He did indeed think he was going crazy when Kiyoko first spoke to him. But then again, Matsuya had thought himself crazy for years when he first started seeing spirits around him. Crazy was a part of his life and he'd accepted that.

Kiyoko Smiled so it seemed they had the same general thoughts. She looked back over to the boy. Her curious side was winning over and she really wanted to know what he thought about the new kage. She guessed after being so shy and reserved last night she returned back to her normal self.
As interesting as that might seem, i'll do my best to keep him sane she responded to Matsuya with a grin as she ate another bite of her ramen. She then turned to the nin at the bar and spoke to him mentally.
Just so you know, we're friends, not dating. And if you have questions I think it would be wise to ask them don't you? Her voice wasn't loud but it wasn't too soft either. It sounded pretty normal with an obvious hint of her curiosity laced into her words.
