Shining mist: Marketplace The Kirigakure marketplace is a combination of outdoor stalls and indoor shops offering a wide selection of items. The streets are lined with shops and people can constantly be seen scurrying to and fro. In the middle of the marketplace, which is made up partially by the streets of Kirigakure, is a large plaza filled with numerous vendors and proudly displaying a beautiful fountain located right in the center of the space. During the night, whether or not there are festivities, the streets and plaza of the marketplace are lit up by multi-colored lights draped across the regular light posts. Even more eye-popping is the fountain. Not only does the structure containing the water seem to glow, but the water itself does as well with a striking blue. During festival season, these decoration grow even more extravagant, especially since most festivities are held in this area. Despite the constant mist that covers the village, or even because of it, the marketplace at night or during festivals is one of the most beautiful places in Kirigakure. As with most other areas of Kirigakure, the ANBU are constantly patrolling the area, always on the lookout for any potential threats.

Matsuya entered the Marketplace. He looked at the scroll in his hand. So the Mizukage gets billed instead of us, huh? Matsuya knew there were alot of things he could do with this scroll, but he was in charge of the tower rebuild team. He wasn't about to besmirch his own name just to have some fun. Matsuya sat by the fountain and waited for Rios. Rios had the list. The list reminded them what to buy. Therefore, Rios was just as important as Matsuya himself. But then again, Matsuya knew that. Rios was more experienced than him. He had served in the military while Matsuya did nothing. That spelled experince in Matsuya's book.

Rios showed up right after Matsuya and sat on the fountain a few feet away from him. He had the list in hand and was already thinking of which stores to buy the supplies from in order to get the best deal. But he couldnt help but notice his partners facial expression. "You,... seem like a man with a lot on his mind. Is all ok mate?" Rios didn't mean to pry, but if one of his friends was looking down, he wanted to help him out. In the mean time, Rios started his five minute ritual of searching for his lost carton of cigarettes and lighter by stuffing his free hand in his various pockets and patting himself down.

Matsuya was jolted out of his mental soliloquy by Rios' voice. His eyes watched the people who walked by, not having a care in the world. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just thinking about something. I'm sure it will work itself out, though." Matsuya sighed and ran a hand through his silver hair. This was no way to act during a leadership test. "So which stores are we going to use. It's not like we'll be paying for it, so I suppose we can go with the best. But if we do that, Deil might not appreciate the amount of his money we spend." Matsuya folded his hands behind his head. He scanned the shops around the fountain. He figured that they'd need to hire a carpenter or two to help them out with some of the woodwork.

"Nothing is true...everything is permitted." "Niente è. .everything allineare è consentito." || Zane Hajime || Retired Shinobi || XXXXXXZane made his way through Kirigakure, crossing the bridge that led to the marketplace. Like usual the streets were crowded with so many people, making it rather hard for a normal person to maneuver through it. However, someone with his skill got through just fine. Wearing his glasses and his civilian clothes, no one would ever think him to be the former kage of the Mist Village. However one would only have to look into his eyes, the eyes of someone who has murdered countless times, his face hardened, his hands rough from holding a sword. He was heading towards a shop at the other side of the marketplace that dealt with rather intruiging and to say bluntly, illegal materials. ||I am the ghost of the mist. || "My village, my shinobi, all those are important. "Zane?" he said to himself, wondering what his brother was doing at the marketplace in the first place. It was ussually Outou who did any of the shopping, so finding Zane outside was an oddity in itself. Deciding that he should just see what his brother's up to, Axel turned to his right and headed down the same street that Zane was walking on, the two coming closer and closer until finally he saw him off in the distance walking towards him. "Hey Zane!" Axel called out to him as he waved at his brother and sighed. "What are you doing all the way out here?" he asked him. { OcC: }Chakra Points: 42/44

Hyouton Nero | Genin | Kirigakure "If it can be done... Nero rolled his eyes, not surprised by the actions of the other shinobi. He had a task to do, and figured he might as well do it, seeing as was already here. He continued forward, looking for anybody who could help rebuild the gate.
He continued to walk, staying on the main path, trying not to get side-tracked. Focusing was easy for Nero though, as his mind was capable of multi-tasking very well, and at the same time, prioritizing almost on its own, without the will of Nero. It was as if he sub-consciously made decisions based on what was the most intelligent choice, and what needed to be done most.
He decided it would be best to simply wait for Axel to be done, because as much as he hated to admit it, Axel probably knew the village better than him, and would probably know where to get the help and supplies they were looking for. Rios nodded. "You got a point there, well I think I know just the place where we can get most of this stuff. There is the hardware warehouse just down the road." Rios got up from the fountain and started down the road, looking over his shoulder and waiting for Mat to follow him, "They got really nice quality at a fair price. I think it would be our best bet. They also deliver your materials like lumber to your construction site for you."

Tsukiko Airi | Kirigakure | Wangetsu Lunar Clan | Medic | Agile | Intelligent | Sexy | Genin | "Aaahh...there's dumplings, or sushi, or pig..something or other. I can't read it." Tsukiko walked around the marketplace looking for a quick snack as a substitute for breakfast. She didn't let her mind wander from her main task; looking for a ninja to help her. Pretty soon she found what she was looking for-twinfold. Their life forces were stronger and more brilliant {ooc:shining} than others around them. There were others blocking her vision so she couldn't tell who they were or what they looked like. As she approached, she noticed another life force nearby that didn't seem with the other two but still nearby. What a coincidence. Tsukiko snickered at her own joke. Heehee, coicidence...well, I guess I better see what opportunity has fallen into my lap. She got past enough people to see the three ninja. There was a cold, lean blue-haired man. She didn't like him. Next to him was a muscled redhead. Those were the two strong ninja she saw earlier. Logic dictates that since the stronger the ninja, the higher rank they are and more likely to know whats going on.However, that blue-haired man was a killer. As a ninja, that was expected. But she still didn't like him. Not to mention, they weren't the opportunity that had been given to him. That weaker, gray-eyed ninja standing off to the side. She walked up behind him, no attempt at being stealthy. "Hey, who are those guys?" She whispered into his ear. “There's no certainty - only opportunity.”

Matsuya nodded and stood from where he sat at the fountain. "Sounds good to me." Rios was right, they needed to get a move on with this tower project. He followed Rios as the walked towards this hardware warehouse. He tucked the scroll Deil had given him into his robe's scroll holster. Losing that could jepordize their entire mission. This being Matsuya's first, he wasn't going to let that happen. Matsuya let his mind wander again as he walked. He thought about his secrets, his friends, possible ways to become the respected figure he so wanted to be, and other things. That was where his gift of intellience also became a curse: his mind almost never stopped working. But it didn't bother him. As strange as he thought himself to be, his never ending thought processes were normal to him, like breathing.

"Nothing is true...everything is permitted." "Niente è. .everything allineare è consentito." || Zane Hajime || Retired Shinobi || XXXXXXZane stopped upon hearing his name, looking out into the distance as he spotted the familiar blazing red hair walking straight towards him. Adjusting the glasses on his nose and pushing them closer to his eyes, Zane took a single step forward and placed his hands in his pockets as he waited for Axel to reach him. "Haven't seen you all day...Sosay found you I guess?" Zane asked him as he took a deep breath and sighed. His eyes glanced briefly at the surrounding shinobis in the area, sensing their chakra signatures that were higher than the average civilian, meaning that they were genins. "I'm actually heading to pick up a package that I had been waiting to get fixed. What are you doing out here? Have you met with the Lord Kage yet?" he asked, adressing Deil by his proper title. Unlike the vast majority who were not keen on following orders from a Suna shinobi, Zane knew what happened when he was given power and believed that even a Suna shinobi would make for a much better kage. ||I am the ghost of the mist. || "My village, my shinobi, all those are important. Axel Hajime |✰| Kirigakure |✰| Chuunin |✰| |✰| Intelligence |✰| Toughness |✰| Great Chakra Reserve |✰| |✰| Elemental Master Katon |✰|| Tactical Support |✰| XXXXX"Yeah...she actually found me at the tower. We spoke to Deil, then went out to eat, and now I'm stuck doing a mission for him," Axel stated, not bothering to call Deil by his proper name. "He's dividing the new genin squads to help out with the rebuilding, unfortunately I think Deil thinks that I'm able to take a squad. I have no idea what he's thinking but me...a squad? I'm a spy, not a sensei," Axel finished as he folded his arms across his chest. "Anyways, I gotta get supplies for rebuilding the gate so I'll tag along since we're both going the same place," he told him as he began walking side by side next to his brother.
The two Hajimes looked nothing alike except for several facial features. They had the same nose and cheekbone structure, but their hair, their eyes and their body built were vastly different. When Axel was just a child he was taken away by the first Mizukage to be the subject of experimentations. It had been shown that the Hajime line shows unique powers and abilities, and the first wanted to explore on those abilities. This changed Axel's entire being to a molecular level, altering his blood and his dna, giving him the special abilities he now has while his brother does not. "By the way...how are my nephews doing?"

"Nothing is true...everything is permitted." "Niente è. .everything allineare è consentito." || Zane Hajime || Retired Shinobi || XXXXXX"Cherry's picking up Maqui and Yuj right now," Zane told him as he placed his hands upon his pockets. "And call him Mizukage, Axel. I don't care wether he's a Sand shinobi or not, he is doing his best to rebuild Mist after all the damage was done. He does care, and he shows it through his actions. So the least you could do is show him a bit of respect little brother. You are a ninja of the mist...act like one," Zane scolded him, not liking his lack of respect for Deil. Sure Zane had not met with Deil officially, and he does not intend to. He is not a ninja of the Mist, so he doesn't have to have any contact with the Mizukage. His dojo is open to those who wish to learn from him and that is all he would ever do for him. "And don't forget...I ended up having a squad myself, my first squad turned out to be quite effective you know," he stated in a light tone, reffering to the fact that he and Outou were now married.
As they continued walking down the street, Zane stopped before a shabby looking building with a veil for a door. Pushing the veil aside, Zane entered first with Axel following behind him. A man's voice called out to him in warm regards as Zane immediately shook his hand. "How have you been my friend? All is well I hope?" he asked him as he stepped further into the store. "Do you have what I need?" he asked him as they exchanged a few words about the man's family and how bussiness was doing.||I am the ghost of the mist. || "My village, my shinobi, all those are important. After a minute of walking, Rios and Matsuya entered the vast warehouse and were greeted by an attendant at the front desk. Rios greeted the female employee, "Hi there, we are trying to refurnish parts of the mizukage's tower and we were hoping you would have what we need?" He handed her his notebook page with a list of what they needed. "Ah, I see, and how will you be paying for all of this?" Rios just indicated with one lazy index finger towards his friend Matsuya.

Hyouton Nero | Genin | Kirigakure "If it can be done... Nero sighed then shook his head. Forget Axel. He's a worthless shinobi anyways....so easily distracted, and this is coming from me. I'll get the help of the carpenters myself. He thought to himself, as he began to wander the streets, in search of the warehouse he had been told to find.
He saw a bunch of large, burly looking men outside of a big building. He walked to the entrance and looked up, reading the sign, he nodded. This must be the place. He thought to himself, walking in. He was greeted by a man with glasses on, sitting at the front desk.
He took a stack of papers and tapped it on the desk, to straighten them out, so the stack would be even, though there were only about 10 pieces of paper.
"Hi, I'm here looking for help and supplies to rebuild the front gates. I'm here on behalf of the Kage." He told the man, who immediately adjusted his glasses.
"The Kage huh?" The man said, in a tone that sounded as if he was asking to confirm. He got up and walked outside of the building, to where Nero had seen the other workers. He heard some muffled talking, due to the door being slightly ajar. He raised and eyebrow, as the man walked back.
"Alright, the guys are waiting on you to lead the way. They'll bring the supplies they feel necessary. They know what they need." The man said, not looking at Nero as he said it. He sat back down and grinned slightly. "The Kage will be the one paying us, correct? As you can probably see, this aint a charity we're runnin here." He said, expectantly.
"Umm...sure...yes..of course!" Nero said, completely unsure of whether or not the Kage would be paying for it or not. He expected he would be, as it was definitely not coming out of his pocket.
Walking out of the building, the men already had a large carriage full of wood and metal, tools, nails, bolts, and other supplies used to build. They followed Nero to the main gate, pulling the big cart of supplies behind them. They were talking amongst themselves, laughing every now and then. What exactly they were saying, he was unsure of, though he didn't exactly care to know, as it didn't concern him.
Walking back, he saw Axel, standing where he was before, 10 minutes earlier, and he moved past him, continuing on to the gate. He really wanted to get this mission done, so he proceeded, followed by the 5 men who had gone with him to fix the gate.
