Great Clock Tower
Laying at the center of the Seiretei is a large tower that reaches very high, the clock tower. The clock tower was built about 1,000 years ago, just for the sake of something beautiful, and creative. At twelve o'clock every day {am and pm} the clock tower's bells ring with a rich fertile sound that echos along the Seireitei. There are long stairs that allow people to go inside of the clock tower, and view its insides. At the top, or center where the clock is, it is a large statue. The statue is of a angel holding a man in her arms, of which is dead. She is weeping over his body, and he lies with a blade to his heart. This statue is carved from marble by a ancient Shinigami, which he made for a play. But Soul Society chose to keep it as a treasure. There are several walkways at the top of the clock tower where a person can walk around and view the Seireitei. It is a very romantic place. (wink, wink)
