Red eyes watched a red LED clock as time slowly marched on. Ursula had left some noticed to be here by eleven thirty and so she had decided it would be best to show up a little earlier. It was odd to say the least, seeing a girl waring a Crystal uniform with only three suitcases to her name sitting at a bus stop. No fancy car, no piles of personal belongings like the average crystal girl. Just the three modest black bags and a quiet girl with a little note describing the man named Rohan who Ursula said she would be living with now.
So she waited, folding the paper over and over in her hands. Surely this would beat living from hotel after hotel as she was shuffled about while a proper place to stay was arranged. Maybe he would be kind of cute, but that would be out of the question, Ursula had said they were going to be cousins now. Not really, just a cover story to explain why she was around Crystal now. Still whoever it was she hoped he would be on time, she was starting to get anxious to see where she would be spending her time surely it must be 11:30 by now right?

Nope, time never goes quickly when your waiting on someone else. With nothing better to do she opened one of the bags pulling a battered sketch book and pencil from inside. Her mind wandered off as she started to draw, rooms she might have, what Rohan might look like all she knew was long hair, red eyes, dark skin, not a lot to go off of but enough to create a series of little faces in her book as time slowly ticked by.

He'd had no say in this.
Absolutely no say in this whatsoever. Ursula had grabbed him aside and told him that she'd needed him to do something for her, and to his credit, Rohan hadn't even winced at such an idea. After all, given the recent... epidemic, he'd been rather willing to lend his friend a hand. Of course, when the fiery headed woman had explained what she wanted him to do, he'd only been able to gape openly at him.
'You must be joking!' he'd said, to which the woman had answered that no, she was actually as serious as a heart attack and had then proceeded to hand him a folder of papers. She'd told him the girl was now his cousin, legally, his responsibility in a way and that all the paperwork was done and completed. She'd then told him that he had a week to arrange his apartment in such a way that would allow the girl to move in and had then left him to gape openly at her as she walked away.
Needless to say... Rohan had been flabbergast at the situation. He had no idea what he was going to do, or how he was going to handle it all, not to mention he had no clue how he was going to break the news to Khalla, given the fact he'd been avoiding her as best as he could for the past few days. Letting out a sigh, the man walked briskly towards the bus station, checking his watch to make sure he was still on time.
By the time he'd reached his destination, it was the meeting time, and he searched the premises until his gaze fell on a lonely looking girl with several suitcases, "Hel?" he asked softly as he approached, then paused and continued, "Lorelei Armati, I presume?" he eyed the suitcases and thanked the gods he lived nearby; when he'd been asked to pick her up, he'd realized his motorcycle would be of little help with suit cases. He was glad they would just be able to walk to the apartment without much trouble, "Is this everything?" he sounded slightly confused, as if he'd expected more.

Lorelei had mixed feelings about it all to be honest. Ursula really did seem to have the best intentions at heart for her when she had come to her with the plans for her to stay with Rohan. So she had went along with it, better a real apartment then tiny little hotels where she had to live off of take out and what little she could cook and store in a mini fridge. Given the chaos of late and families being torn asunder the whole situation played perfectly to their needs, a cousin with no family moving in would raise no questions.
So without much to worry about Lorelei continued to draw out the fantasy of her new life with Rohan. Though when someone finally called her name she would glance up and back to her sketches quickly marking down the ones that looked nothing like him, circling one that came close except his hair was braided, and put a very large x through the one that had a strange resemblance to Jacob from twilight. Placing the book aside she stood offering a slight nod, instinct said to curtsy, but this was her new 'cousin.' Maybe she should give him a hug? No. That's taking the cover story too serious.
"Rohan Dalry?" Turning back to her sketch book she quickly stuffed it back into the bag it came from before gathering two of the three suitcases. "Yes, I'm Lorelei and this really is everything." She knew it was odd, a girl with almost no belongings. What did she have? She tried to remember back, but nothing came up. She didn't recall her favorite books, or any movies she had seen since she was taken in by the Negaverse. It nagged at her a bit, but the duty and power that came with her new life especially the word of the Queen had made that seem like very little to complain about.
"Oh you know, Ursula had me moving about so much... I guess I just lost most of my stuff moving around so much lately." She paused for a moment, where was his car? "Well I guess it's best I don't have too much since uhh... you walked here I guess?"

"Indeed," he was still eying her, idly wondering if they could, indeed pass off for cousins. Their only resemblance was their red eyes and he wasn't entirely sure if that would be enough. Reaching up, he brushed his right temple a bit, lost in thought until the girl's voice brought him out of his reverie, "If you say so," his eyes narrowed a notch at her words; he'd heard about corrupted senshi and what it potentially did to their memories. He was going to have to question the girl later about it, mostly because... information was power.
Rohan's gaze followed hers as she searched for his 'car', and then turned back to her, arching a brow, "I did not quite think my motorcycle would be of much use with luggage. I do not own a car," a pause as he motioned to a building that she could probably only just barely see in the near distance, "I live over there. It's not too far, and it's a pleasant walk to Crystal academy if you want to go alone, or a short drive if you wish to come with me," he was entirely sure the girl could take care of herself in a bind and did not really wish to restrict her.
It was an awkward situation, but something told him it was more so for her than it was for him, "Come," he took hold of two of the suitcases, "It's not far, I promise," as he began to walk, he looked at her out the corner of an eye, "And what, exactly, did Ursula tell you to put you up to this anyhow?"

It would be a stretch, where he was with flowing cream locks of hair, a tanned complexion, striking red eyes, meanwhile Lorelei was pale with raven black hair, though their eyes matched quite well. While he continued to ponder these details she turned to gather her third suitcase joining it with the others, though she avoided eye contact when he commented on her excuses for a lack of personal belongings.
"A motorcycle huh? Dose that make you a cool hotshot TA who rolls into the campus causing all the girls hearts to flutter?" She knew a little about what he did, she wasn't sure which classes exactly, but Ursula had said he was in the English deparment as a teacher assistant. Following his gesture she squinted towards the edge of the building he must be suggesting, a bit of a walk but nothing too terrible. "A ride to classes might be nice once in a while..." Okay Ursula had not informed her that she would be with a guardian who lacked a car, strike one, well maybe only half a strike, motorcycles are pretty awesome in the long run.
Taking up the last case she fell into step behind him, "Nothing really, just the promise I wouldn't be living in motels, hotels, and out of mini fridges anymore, I had to be moved so much because staff would start asking questions."

He wasn't entirely sure what he'd expected to hear, but out of the list of things... this surely wasn't it. It was plainly obvious in the way his head snapped to regard the girl that had sped her pace so she could walk by his side, "I beg your pardon?" he wasn't entirely sure how to even start to tackle her question, "I..." and he snapped his mouth shut, because while he was about to mention that really, he did his best at staying away from the students... there was Khalla, whom also happened to be a student (albeit not for long - he was so glad graduation was just around the corner, because this was awkward beyond all reason), "No, not really. I don't think the girls really like me much."
But then again, that had to do with the fact that he wasn't exactly Mr. Social, and then... there was his office, which he'd conveniently located at the depths of the Crystal library. Very few girls ventured there; if tales of ghosts didn't deter them, the threat of a roach, mouse, or worse yet, rat or even bat, sure as hell did.
This was not going to work. At all. He was going to murder Ursula in her sleep. Politely, and perhaps humanly, but he was going to murder her for this. Or least, tell her she was very much insane for setting him up with this - alas, despite his thoughts, Rohan knew damned well he'd never do such a thing, and when Ursula inevitably came asking to know how things were going, he'd tell her everything was peachy.
The woman didn't really need more worries in her life right now, "This," he said slowly as he began to walk, "Is going to be extremely awkward."

Maybe it wasn't the best choice of words, though the reaction was well worth the price of admission to see her new 'cousin' stumble in his steps letting her catch up as he tried to think of a suitable response to her question. It made sense though, really! A young, decently in shape teacher riding a motorcycle around an all girls school? How could someone not find that just a little attractive. "Really now? They don't? You seem like a decent person so far, what do they fear you'll fail them or something?" She wasn't even aware his reputation at the school, or if she had known it, she didn't recall it at all. For that matter did she go to Crystal all her life? Or... oh screw it, school was school and everyone deep down knew it was no fun.
So they walked, somewhat in silence till Roh piped up again and Lorelei could only laugh at his statement, "What two average 'cousins' who secretly strike out in the night to battle magical terrors of the moon. No this won't be awkward at all." She paused for a while, growing quiet as they walked a bit farther. "Really though, I guess, thanks? I mean for agreeing to do this. Living out of a mini fridge is the worst."

No, wait. This wasn't going to be awkward; this breached the boundaries of awkward and skidded right into unbearably uncomfortable territory, as far as Rohan was concerned, and his expression must have shown as much when he turned to glance at the girl beside him.
Just... why him?
He was pretty sure there were a hell of a lot more agents that had proven themselves to be further more qualified for this sort of thing than him, "If by decent you mean anti social, then maybe," a brow arched and he shook his head, "No, I'm fair in my marking procedures. They're probably more scared of the fact I keep my proverbial headquarters in the bottom, basement floor of the Crystal library. There's dust there, and god forbid there might be some creepy crawly. They don't come often, though there are a couple of exceptions," the main ones being Khalla, whom had taken to spending breaks there in an attempt to get her studies out of the way, and Serah. A couple of other negaverse agents had also taken to dropping by, but that was beyond the point.
As they neared the building, he motioned to it, "I have a decent fridge. So long you don't harm the cat, and don't ruin my books, it will be fine. Creighton might kill you if you harm the animal, and Khalla might kill me for letting it be hurt," even if the poor creature still lacked a name. It was just 'The cat' for him so far.

It was Ursula's fault, really, maybe she thought he could use someone to liven up the place? A girls touch if anything since Ursula couldn't be here to watch over him all the time.
Regardless of who was proven to be worthy no longer mattered, the order was given and Lore was already walking towards the building her bag in toe as Roh moved the other. "You never know, some people like the silent brooding type," she paused just long enough to see the look on his face before continuing. "We both know a bunch of preppy school girls have more to fear then dusty books, and spiders in a basement." Senshi with magical powers that could potentially take out a civilian in cross fire? Random Youma prowling the city every night? Of course to top it off they had to deal with the Negaverse hunting people at night.
"I wouldn't harm your cat, that's just mean. Besides I love Ursula's cat, why would I hurt yours?" Looking up at the building she tilted her head ever so slightly taking in her new home.
