She sat casually on a bar stool at the far end of the crowded bar and asked for another drink. Her dark brown hair seemed almost black as she pushed it behind her shoulders with a soft sigh, her blue eyes studied the crowd around her and rubbed her hands together. As usual, she was there alone but never once did she complain since it wasn't hard for her to find someone to buy her a drink or complement her. The vixen's fingers swept under her eye to remove any crumbling make-up or eye gunk that began to build up.
Erin thanked the bartender when he brought her the drink. She brought it to her lips and took a delicate sip from the glass, sighing as she felt the burn of her alcohol move down her throat and into her belly. A small smile caressed her lips as she relaxed more.

Quietly stepping into the establishment, Vier tilted his head down to stare at his watch; Nine on the dot. It wasn't long ago before he called his wife, telling her he'd be home around ten. The current time made him wish he'd told her eleven..or maybe midnight, even. His mind was heavy-- almost as heavy as his eyelids as he tried to run on two hours of sleep every day. Things just weren't going his way and he wanted to run away from it all.
Briefly casting away his woes, he casually walked up to the bar, taking a seat on a stool and waving his hand at the attendant, calling for his "usual". He didn't bother to scan his surrounding. He didn't come for them..but to only drown out the life he wished to forget.

The foxes eyes wandered to the new person in the bar and grinned, remembering that she saw him a few times before. With a brief flick of her tail she downed her drink for a bit of liquid courage and fixed her dress some. Erin had to admit, he was pretty good looking even though he looked a bit tired and worn down. Quickly enough, she shrugged it off and made her way over.
The girl slid in the seat next to him and asked for a much lighter drink then before, not wanting to get overly intoxicated. Her blue eyes glanced at him and with a small smile she turned around to face him, “Come here often?” she asked as innocently as she could without being to over the top.

Vier stared at the drink the bartender slapped on the counter in front of him. He tilted his head upward ever-so-slightly. The room was dark..and he was exhausted, but for some reason his waiter seemed..familiar. He scanned around, but the glimpse that caught his eye was the end of a blond tail that disappeared into the back room.
A sudden voice broke his silence and he darted his eyes to the right of him. A young woman was staring right at him!...
"..What?" he questioned, his tone gruff, harsh, unused. He didn't wait for an answer before taking a long drink from his glass.

“I just asked if you come here often…” Erin blinked and pushed her hair back behind her ears and thanked the bartender when he handed her the beverage. Tilting it to her lips she took a dainty sip and sighed lightly rolling her shoulders. The fox checked him out from the corner of her eye and smirked, liking what she saw.
The woman’s tail flicked some more as she held out her paw, “I’m Erin.” she said with a bright grin, as her bracelets jingled from being disturbed. Her head tilted to the side to wait for his response as her mind pondered many possibilities.

He remained silent for a while, savoring the bitter tang of the concoction while having his eyes fixed on the stranger.
"I do not." he finally replied. It was only half of a lie. This week, it's been his first stop. Others, it might be a couple times a week.

She sat there for a second and took another sip of her drink, her tail slowly flicking back and forth with a grin. "What's a handsome man like yourself doing here alone then?" The vixen asked as she set her cup down and turning to face him some, crossing one leg over the other.

Vier ignored the shameless pass the girl had made. It only made his curiosity grow, however; What would a woman like her want with him? So far, he was close to broke..but she wouldn't know that. Perhaps he -looked- rich?
He glanced at her from the corner of his eye, ears perked.
"I came here to drink." his reply was short and gruff.

"Doesn't everyone?" She smirked and tapped her finger nails against the glass and sighed lightly, trying to figure out how to get to him. Knowing there has to be someway she sighed again and looked over, extending her paw out again.
"I'm Erin, it's nice to meet you." The foxes smile was innocent looking enough as her ice blue eyes examined him for any hint of.. well... anything.

He stared at her for a few moments before taking her hand, shaking it and releasing it without uttering a word. Taking another sip from his glass, he blinked at her, silently questioning her motives..
"Vier," he muttered.

She smiled again and finished off her drink and closed her eyes contently, contemplating on ordering another drink but decides to hold off for a while. "Vier? That's a very nice name, I've never heard it before." Erin mused lightly and stretched some, flicking her tail idly.
The fox had to admit, Vier was a very attractive male to say the least and she happened to be rather lonely.

He shrugged lightly, his drink starting to wear on him. Taking another shot, he fixed his ice blue gaze upon her. She was a lovely sight indeed, but something about her made him uneasy...and it wasn't just the Coke and Gin.
He had slumped back in his chair, ready for a meager conversation..although he didn't know why.
"It is unusual. My mother was unusual, hence my name."

"Unusual? Oh please, it's unique... and I for one rather enjoy unique." The fox grinned as she looked him over again, flicking her tail calmly and ordered another drink. This time she chose a strong mixture of Jägermeister and Red Bull, just to get things going into an interesting direction.
Erin sipped her drink as she fiddled with her bracelets and stretching some. "I'm tired of normal everything so unique is defiantly number one in my book."

Shameless woman.
Then, something popped into his clouding thoughts: She was the exact opposite of Seira.
Seira..his dedicated housewife. His first love. The woman who would toil selflessly for hours, expecting nothing in return. Vier could see where this was going..but yet he didn't care. He knew their relationship was on the rocks. In the back of his mind, he knew it was ending. He knew that every time he left the house, he hesitated coming back. Why? He simply lost interest in Seira.
She loved him, no doubt..but she didn't love her self enough. She was always worrying for others while -she- was falling a part. He couldn't bear to watch it anymore.
Yet, he knew that he was always a loner. And that was the second reason; He simply wasn't good enough to care for her, to keep her together while she was everyone's 'Santa Claus'.
Another shot was taken, half of his bottle was gone. His thoughts seemed to disappear and his mind was clouding. He glanced towards Erin but didn't say a word.

Unlike Vier, Erin was not committed so she had no shame over anything she does. She shrugged her shoulders and teased her hair some and smiled over at him before taking a rather hardy sip of her drink and allowed the alcohol to be a liquid enforcer to her plan or lack thereof. She rested her hand against the counter and just looked at him, wondering what he was thinking or if maybe perhaps he had the same idea in mind.
The fox smirked and laughed lightly as her fingers brushed along the males arm, finding it rather firm and nice. "Has anyone told you how handsom you are?" Erin smiled and knew immediately the alcohol had fully taken effect.
