This is a hidden beach that only the school students know about.

Something bright splashed in the water, moving deeper and deeper into the faint current, until it stopped about a few yards in. Kako was standing on a large, flat rock in a deeper section, her head barely above the water. Not that she needed to breath; if she lost her footing, it would take a while for her to find solid ground again. Other things could happen in that time, as well.

It took about an hour for a lonely feeling to set in. When it did, at that time, Kako had begun digging into the sand near the edge of the water. And she had only found something that looked like a piece of fish-bone; it had been tossed back into the water seconds later. The girl would sit there for a few more hours, cross-legged and staring out at nothing at all.

┌ -|- нιro nanaѕнι -|- "ωну мυѕт ι вє вυя∂єиє∂ ву σтнєяѕ؟" Hiro walked along the coastline barefooted with his shoes held in his left hand. He was bored, as was normal for him. He had wanted to find a nice place to relax, but he just couldn't sleep around here and could only think of exploring the area. He stepped on a large rock that carved into the sand and sat down to rest on it with a deep sigh of both annoyance and boredom. "It's nothing but water here, but at least there's no people," he said as he set his shoes up as a cushion and laid back his head on them to gaze up at the sky. His eyes closed and he yawned. The busy days were catching up to him. He just wanted to have sweet afternoons like this, where he could enjoy some peace and quiet. "ℓιfє ιѕ ѕσ αииσуιиg." ┘

Somewhere, far on the other side of that stretch of beach, a small girl looked up, faintly hearing those words drifting across, through the breeze. Though the urge to correct that statement crossed her mind, it was quickly suppressed, ineffectively; the thought popped back up moments later, and won against the reasons arguing against it.
A few minutes later, a overly colorful, if not psychedelic puddle slid across the sand at a fast pace, towards the somewhat distant figure of the man. As it went, the various colors slowly faded away, a slight gray one surpassing the rest; becoming as of a regular cat in every detail when it finally neared him. The animal slowly padded up to the figure, staring at him with amber eyes. And purred loudly.

┌ -|- нιro nanaѕнι -|- "ωну мυѕт ι вє вυя∂єиє∂ ву σтнєяѕ؟" Hiro glanced over at the cat, wondering how the animal had come to be at such a desolated location. "What are you doing here?" he thought aloud as his hand reached out and scratched the cat's head. He was no animal-lover, but he liked cats, better than dogs anyway. "You run away from your owner?" he asked, though he knew the animal could not answer him. Perhaps it was simply a thing people did, to talk to animals. They didn't need a reply, just someone, something to listen to their rambling and problems. "ℓιfє ιѕ ѕσ αииσуιиg." ┘

The purring sound only grew louder as it pushed up against the hand rubbing it's head, and forward as well. Hairs, the only things that were left behind, clung to his clothes. And then the purring stopped, the animal backing away a considerable distance, though it shook it's head in a way that said 'No.'. It only took a moment for it's small body to collapse in on itself, back to a formless puddle of paint. The liquid slid away back down the beach.
Kako had gotten up shortly before it had slipped away, heading into the nearby forest. The liquid followed, soon joining with her again. That had been enough; that one sided conversation. It had seemed like he would have enjoyed being more alone, anyway.

┌ -|- нιro nanaѕнι -|- "ωну мυѕт ι вє вυя∂єиє∂ ву σтнєяѕ؟" Hiro looked up when the cat left and got up, seeing that the cat had vanished. "Where did it go?" he wondered aloud as he picked up his shoes and jumped down from the rock. His feet kicked up sand and sent sprinkles of water into the air. Hiro was curious as to where the cat had come from and where it had gone. He continued along the sandy bank, searching along the water to see if it had swam, though most cats didn't he knew. "Where did it go?" he repeated himself. "Kitty! Kitty!" he called. He partly felt he should find it and return it to it's owner. That would be the proper thing to do. "ℓιfє ιѕ ѕσ αииσуιиg." ┘

"Kitty! Kitty!"
It was now obvious now that the man didn't like being alone as he previously stated; a common thing anyone did, lying. Though he might have not been; she sort of considered animals a kind of people. The small girl, in the shadow of the trees, watched his distant form run across the sand for a bit, before finally reacting to it. She came into view, the cat from before having it's lower half dangling from her outstretched hands. From what was showing, it was clear the animal was a tom. Kako stopped a few feet from the man, waiting. Both her and the animal stared at him. "Looking for this?" came from her, barely audible with the faint background noises.

┌ -|- нιro nanaѕнι -|- "ωну мυѕт ι вє вυя∂єиє∂ ву σтнєяѕ؟" Hiro stopped before the girl, resuming his cold demeanor before another person. "Is it your cat?" he asked, diverting his eyes. He wasn't very good at talking to people and always tended to be misunderstood as being a mean and anti-social person. "I just wanted to return it," he said briefly with his right hand in his pocket. His adverted eyes almost seemed like a glare as he glanced over the girl. "ℓιfє ιѕ ѕσ αииσуιиg." ┘

That look seemed to go right past her; either the girl didn't recognize/register it, or excelled at pretending not to notice. Either way, Kako just shook her head exactly, or similarly to the way the cat had a bit earlier, unseen. A wave of nausea had begun to spread across her being; something in the air seemed... off. "No... Thanks..." It was painful, oddly, just being near him. So it wasn't long; only seconds after her words had died away before Kako dropped the cat, taking off into the woods.

He didn't quite understand what was going on or why she suddenly left, so it puzzled him. He stood there, looking into the forest for some time with his fingers twirling a lock of his hair, debating what to do. He could just leave, but he was somewhat curious as to who the girl was and why she left. He partly felt that he should follow her, but if he had said something that upset her, following her might only worsen the situation. "ℓιfє ιѕ ѕσ αииσуιиg." ┘

Trina saw the man twirling his hair and stopped she really didn't want to talk to anyone today so she stood there staring.
