Annie Eegans trotted up next to an old hickory tree, carrying a tower of books, that didn't help her to see around the nearby corners. She had a off period, thanks to her lovely Seventh Year schedule, which was perfect for studying up on her worst subject... nothing. Annie was passing through each class with flying colors, but yet she still studied for some pointless reason she had come up with. As Annie walked over to a tree she let the books drop onto the ground with a loud clatter. Joy... good job Annie, she scolded herself as she picked up her copy of 'History of Magic' which had missed the intended piece of grass by several inches. Giving out a small frown, Annie electric blue eyes fell onto the books binding, it was getting even more tattered, but that's what would happen to a book that had suffered so much abuse for the past six years. Shaking her head, Annie leaned against the tree, taking a seat in front of her humongous tower of books. What was she going to be 'studying' today. Annie pulled a large novel from the top of her stack and read the back. The Era of Goodness: Story of the Ministers who revived the World of Magic. Read about the smart choices these wizards and witches made.... It caused Annie to laugh. "Nothing compared to whats happening now." She whispered to herself in a sarcastic tone.
Annie hated the Minister, and disagreed with every single one of his choices. They were all unreasonable, and he never seemed to make up his mind on decisions. She wanted him to step down from the position, give it to someone who could actually 'rule' the Wizard World. But then again she was never really asked to share her very opinionated political views. Annie just gave out the straight truth, no matter how much it hurt, when it came to things that would affect her. Just like last year when she had just a E in a class, and argued her way up to an O. It had been a good day for her back then. From what she had heard, the Minister's son was somewhere around the school, and if he was as much of a hard head as his father, Annie would easily dislike him. People like the Minister irritated Annie within a flash, and she would use some intellectual harsh vocabulary against them. Never less, Annie put the book next to the pile, and reached for another one. Something so small like a book had managed to riddle up the Ravenclaw, wasn't that just lovely! With her hand hovering over the messily scattered pile, Annie turned her face the other way. Always liked a surprise, this one did. Moving her hand in circles like kindergartens sometimes do when deciding on something, she finally set it down. The book was a hard cover, and Annie could immediately know which one was which. A smile arose on the girl's face, it was one of her favorites.
This time she had managed to choose 'Askaban's Crimes and Criminals'. It was a book that listed all the vicious people who had earned a cell in Askaban, and what evil they had done. Amazingly, it interested Annie, since she had a essay due on the Attacks of the Death Eaters. Opening up to a random page, she was greeted by no other than Lucius Malfoy. Eyes opened wide, she begun reading the heading, and zoning out into the book. Her attention was only to the book, she was such a book-nerd that way. The tree could have been lit with a cursed fire, and Annie wouldn't have noticed. It just looked like whoever came up would have a hard time communicating with the girl. With her pair of dark rimmed hipster reading glasses on, she'd gone into full on Ravenclaw state. Friend's back home wouldn't see Annie for days if she got her hand on a good piece of literature. Cooped up in her room, spending her time reading. Eventually it got so bad that her own mother would have to barge in a begin complain on how anti-social Annie was. The of course her older brother would mosey on in, take the book, and have her try to catch him. With her chestnut hair fluttering a bit in the wind, she turned the page only to catch it on the thin paper. "Ow! Really another papercut?! That's at least three today..." Annie's tone was slightly irritated as she thought out loud to herself. A tiny drop of crimson fell to the ground before she pulled out a bandage. Once that nuisance was out of the way, Annie proceeded to trance herself once more into reading.
