Tahki had done it she'd gotten her name and was now headed back to the swamp. The journey had been a tricky one but it was one that was now done and one that Tahki was glad to have gone on. She'd had never met her new friend Shoo if she hadn't ever left the swamp.
Well maybe she would have since he was a swampie. Or maybe she wouldn't have.
The point was she was done. And she was thrilled to be back in the muddy lizard infested swamps again. Her toes wiggled about in the soft gooshy mud as it made fart noises as she walked.
Shoo was perplexed, Shoo was null. She had left him - you know... that thing that females did when they no longer enjoyed your company. He felt utterly ashamed. He didn't want to feel this way, truly, he did care for her a good deal, so... he would set his harsh feelings aside and go find her once again. Even if it meant he had to go back home to the Swamp. Even if. He sighed as he entered the Pride lands, his eyes shifting from side to side. Where could she be?
Tahki had no idea that Shoo had journeyed back in search of her. Honestly, she had ever reason to go find him after she announced the good news about her name. Though she'd forgotten to let him know this.
Tahki could be an a little thick at times though. For one, she still thought lizards were plotting against lion kind and had some sort of demonic aura about them and needed to be stopped.
Yeah.. she was a bit thick. But sweet when it mattered. Our hero walked through the mud with a smile on her maw. Truly it was good to be home.
Shoo was nothing like his female friend, Tahki, no. He was super 'grown up' and felt rather silly when he played games, mostly because he was so closed off to everyone, he had forgotten what it was like to, well, feel something other than hate or discontent. With a deep sigh he rolled his eyes and sat down, his muddy covered paws pushing deep into the earth as he glanced down; He already felt like giving up, she was gone. She left him. Opening his muzzle he swore and closed his eyes for a second. "She left me."
Tahki, clueless and child like as ever, made it a game as she slushed through the mud. She sloshed it from side to side like it was some big effort to get to where she was going. Man had she gotten big.
Not to long ago she would be drowning in the thick of the mud. Now her legs allowed her to go where she needed to go. She felt a little grown up. Her chest puffed out as she moved along.
Still there was no sign of the pride. Odd. Usually they were every where.
His ears propped upward as his nose twitched with the smell of her, her soft - sweet smell. He felt almost heartbroken, why did this place SMELL LIKE HER? -- Oh, s**t, wait. She was here!? He moved himself, gathering his feelings before he called out to her. "Hey?" it was more of a question, but still. If she was near, she would hear him.
The female giggled as she slished and sloshed around. The mud, it felt so cold on her pelt, it felt like home. But she was willing to give this all up for Shoo. The thought of him made heat rush to her cheeks.
A voice made her ear twitch. Mmmmmmm? She looked over her shoulder but saw no one. A brow lifted.
"Hello?"

The whole 'hello' thing didn't even hit him until his heart sank back into his chest. She... she was here? He stopped dead in his tracks and sniffed the air. What... what.
"Tahk?"
He called out.
"Tahki."
Oh god. Maybe he over reacted a little. What a drama queen. He felt so freaking stupid now. She had not left him at all.

Tahki padded over toward the direction of the voice. Was this the plot of lizards? The lion did not know but she was going to find out. Still there was no sign of any one. Not even a lizard. Was she going crazy maybe?
Maybe.
"Whos.. Whos calling me?" She looked around and tilted her head. Her ears were back. Tahki was a scared.

Okay wait. She forgot him. It was true, why else would she be questioning who he was? He stood tall and dashed over to where her voice was coming from.
"Hey!"
He snarled a bit at her, stopping as he almost bumped right into her.
"IAM."
He spat out all at once. Pity she couldn't tell why he was being so harsh with her. His little feelings were hurt!

"OH HEY!" Tahki smiled and quickly ducked down into a playful bow. She was like a cub in many ways.
"I didn't even see you man! What are you doing here? I thought you were staying away from the pride lands." She gave him a goofy smile and reached out a paw toward him in a playful manner. The fact that his feelings were hurt had not yet caught on to Tahki.
"Becareful the pride lands are dangerous," Her stance and her voice were more sober now. "There are lizards about.." She was dead serious.

Oh my god how rude. She was being so rude! He couldn't stand it.
"Why are you acting like that? You act like you didn't even care that we haven't seen eachother in weeks!"
He was hurt, maybe she wasn't; it didn't matter. Shoo was really really confused.
Maybe she really didn't think he was cute after all.

The female frowned and tilted her head. Rude? Was she being rude? But he was in danger and he scared her.
"Shoo...." She wasn't sure why he was upset. Her ears flattened and her tail went between her legs. The female felt her self shrink a little in size.
"Shoo I was coming back. I ... I .." She needed to complete the naming quest was all. She thought he understood that.

He could tell her feelings were hurt, so he relaxed a little before speaking again, as if looking for the right words (As if not to make her cry, girls always cried);
"Look, I'm sorry. I'm overreacting, but, I really was worried about you."
He said with nod. She was someone he wanted to keep close.

Tahki bounced back when he apologized. Her ears shot back up and a dorky smile rested on her maw. He was sorry.
"Im sorry too!" She announced all to excitedly. She wasn't exactly sure why she was sorry but if it made Shoo happy then she'd be sorry for him. She didn't want him to be angry with her.
Tahki rubbed her head to his chest.
"I'm here now kay," She smiled.

Okay well, she was way too cute and he couldn't stay mad at her, not even for half a second. With a smile he nodded and nuzzled her softly, this was so very nice. He smiled and closed his eyes before laughing at her tone.
She was so freaking cute.
"Mm- 'Kay."
He smiled and stepped back. She brought out this... this childlike joy in him. This was nice.
"I'm glad you are back."
He was.

Tahki tilted her head up at him smiling her same dorky smile.
"I never left," She smiled. Things were going to be okay.
