How do you present your offerings? What sort of offerings to you give to honor and respect your deities?

that depends. if i'm outside and i see something that the God or Goddess tell me to take normally theyve also given me something to give so i place the offering where the object was. this past weekend i went berry picking. when i was done i created a circle, thanked the god and goddess for the bounty they'd given me and spread some blessed sea salt and blessed water on the ground.other offerings i've done are bread that i scattered around my grove as an offering.

An improvement to self and an increase in patience tolerance and doing things how you know they should be done responsibly is often the best gift you can give a deity. imo.

a good point. i know for me the Moon mother shines on me the most when i'm merely following my own path and becoming the person i'm supposed to be.

I do offerings where I see fit.

The other day I say a family of squirrels and kinda felt as if they were hungry. So, I just went into my house and grabbed some extra bread and broke it into little pieces and threw it around my tree.

I wasn't even sure that they ate bread but it felt good to do it. I feel that was an offering.

that is not only a good offering but also a good way to go about it. offerings shouldnt be planned. they should be given based on your intuition and your connection with deity

The deities I work with tend to like formality and planned offerings. Incense is always a must, then water, beer or wine and bread.

I give incense, song and dance, raw gemstones, and things like jewelry and such. Things that have meaning. I'm not really into giving food offerings.

I disagree that it shouldn't be planned. A regular showing of respect towards your gods is a good thing. I offer wine to my Lady, and usually chicken to my Lord, or some kind of meat. (though venison would be my ideal choice) As I work indoors, and cannot bury/pour a libation, I usually say something along the lines of "To my Goddess, I offer this wine. May you taste with my tongue and know of my reverence. To my God, I offer this meat. May you taste with tongue and know of my reverence." Whenever something meaningful happens, I always thank them and toast my next meal to them silently.

Not really sure what you mean by "things that have meaning." Care to elaborate by what you mean? To me, food and drink, especially good food and drink, have quite a lot of meaning behind it. I offer wine, which to me represents my Goddess because she rules over water and magic (alcohol can have some pretty "magical" properties). I offer meat and bread to my God because he is the Hunter, he is the one who makes the fields of grain grow. To me, these things have great meaning behind them. Without them, I would die.
