     Hello members of ~Wish Upon a Star~! This is the second grand art contest we've had! What is art? Well, art is an interpretation of a theme or idea. It could be a person’s version of Chopin or a TekTek for a theme. This time is art of these three people: Alustrial777, One_Smile_Counts, Roseankitty. You can do one, two, or all of them!Any style (chibi, realistic, etc.) works! Alright, alright, it's finally time to announce the winners! We judges have all made our decisions and they are as follows:

My golly gosh, you guys made this hard for me. I was in love with every piece made for me. heart I always wished to have some kind of artistic creativity, but I don't (unless you call writing artistic xD)
So anyways, I want to tell you how I rated things myself. I love clearness so that I can have the pieces of art in posts and signatures. I also looked for the style and how awesome/cute it looked. I won't bother wasting anymore of your time so I shall go straight off to the results.
First place goes to Myna5194. You're probably amazed Myna, right? Well, I loved how clear your art was. It was clean and polished and I love her expression like, "OMG I made ice crystals!" It was just flat out cute and whimsy~
Second place goes to Rayning Crayons. Oh. My. Gosh. Your art was ADORABLE!!!! 4laugh Whenever I look at your piece you made for me, I always go, "D'awww...How cute!" I love the shades of color you put into your piece and I love your eye (notice how I didn't say eyes xD) style! The way you did the crown and circlet are also adorable~
You think that's it, right? But NOoo I was too in love with two other pieces to not prize that I made two third places! That's right, these two people both get 12.5k from me and those two are Raftelfan and Suiveur de Dieu!
Raftelfan-dear, I love your hair styling! When I saw that hair, I nearly drooled! You gave a very 'ice princess approaching' look that I like. I was very intrigue with how you did your sleeves. Although the further back arm and skirt were a bit off, I really loved this piece. 3nodding
Suiveur de Dieu, how can I not help but say that I love your style? It looks near perfection! The crown, the hanging jewel, the water control part, her lips, I loved it all! However, I was slightly bothered by two things. Although I loved the sleeves, it did make me a little sad to not see the fur. But, I do understand if you don't like drawing fur because I can't draw that to save my life. xD The other aspect is clearness. Even though I can see almost all your detail, the water isn't as apparent in the picture. I can't help but squint a bit to see it. I also notice some bends in the paper you scanned in the art, slight but a bit noticeable. It probably would look 'bam!' if your paper came out with the white being as white as digital art makes it. Anyways, I loved your art a lot, I admit with the struggling of possibly putting it in second.
And to everyone else, I loved your art so much, I thank you all for drawing me. I hope that you'll enjoy the 2k~ :3

2nd: Rayning Crayons- Your art is outstanding too, but what I liked about yours was the texture, and the coloring. :3

First off I would like to thank all who drew my avatar! As you can all see, my style has changed quite a bit since submitting the avatar to our wonderful captain! A second note of mine, I would love to be a host in future contests! All of you are wonderful artists~ .]
So, how I judged my work: I took in note how clean it looked. I understand if all you had was a pencil and paper, not everyone does digital artwork. But at the same time, there is a standard that I hold as an artist as to what is first prize artwork. Because of the different styles and the different views of the avatar given, I had to think a lot about how I was going to choose the winners. So I had to narrow it down, 14 art works? Wow, thanks guys!
To start off, I didn’t judge the group pictures, I didn’t feel it was right for me to judge art of someone else’s avatar. Though I do commend all who drew group pictures, and is yet another reason why I am gifting 2k to all participants, as I don’t want you to feel as if participating in an art contest is a waste. .]
So after that, I opened up all files that were directed towards my avatar, and picked out the ones that appealed to the eyes. One’s that I could see clearly, and I do add extra points for color! After that I still had quite the line. So I then started to look into the styles and if in given style if the anatomy of the figure was correct. It got me down to my top three choices.
First place winner is Creamsicle Bunnies. I chose her art as first place as it is a very well thought out piece, and the anatomy is fairly good. There are places in which Creamsicle Bunnies could improve, and in which I can give a full critique if they wish to pm me. .] This is a good example of traditional artwork that presents itself well digitally. Scanning or photography was clean and crisp giving the justice this artwork needed and deserved. Congratulations Creamsicle Bunnie. .]
For second place, I had a hard time choosing… So I am awarding two second place winners. .]
Those two people are: MidnightXUchiha and Rayning Crayons
I chose MidnightXUchiha due to the expression that they has on the chibi. It is a good example of digital art in the chibi style. The lines are clean, and the art holds a strong resemblance to the avatar given. Though the feline mask is not shown on the head of this artwork, it is using an artist’s artistical rights to opt out what every they feel isn’t needed to complete the artwork. .] I think the piece doesn’t need of the mask, as it wouldn’t balance the art work, it would rather make it top left heavy. Once again, a more in depth critique can be given through pm if asked for.
I also chose Rayning Crayons as the work is a good example of clean digital art work that seems almost anime-ish and cartoonish, but is a very well done job. .] All aspects of the avatar are shown in what is drawn, and an own insight of what the jacket would look like is taken on. Though not full body like the first place winner, this one is still a strong piece of art work. And my offer is also extended to Rayning, pm for a full critique of your art.
The critique is open to anyone who drew artwork in this competition, as well as out of the competition. Though I will tell you now that I am harsh, and will tell you how it is. I will tell you what’s good, as well as what needs to be improved and ways that you can go around to do so. I am not a professional, but I am going through college to do art as a living. .]
I encourage you all to take place in the 3rd Art contest here at Wish upon a Star, and strive to present your best work yet again. .]

Ain't it weird how I'm going to tour DC with my good friend? We are heading up there. We might try to see the White house and stuff, but I can't wait to see her again! (We don't know what days we will do what.. but.. it's just a bit funny. xD)
