Link looked at the sparkling water of the lake as he walked to the edge of the water. "Wow!" he said, "Xion wasn't kidding! It's beautiful!"
Rowan walked up beside Link. "Indeed it is," he said looking off towards the island in the center, "Say... You don't know the legend about the lakes of Sinnoh do you?"

Xion walked behind the others frowning, until she heard Link's exclaimation when she gave a small smile. "I know the legend," she said walking up next to Rowan looking down at her reflection, "I was wanted to travel to the other lakes to see if I could confirm the myths."

"Huh? Legends? Myths?" he said, confused, "I don't get what you're talking about..."
Rowan looked at Link. "Well... I think you'll come to understand soon enough.

Xion looked over at Link. "I'll tell you about it some time," she said, "So... Should we get looking for Pokemon?"

Link looked at Xion and nodded. "Sounds like a plan," he said before heading back from the water edge.

"Wait!" Xion said turning around to Link, "Now where are you going? I thought we had to find Pokemon."

Link turned and blinked at her, then laughed a little. "Oh yeah..." he said, "I forgot you're new to this. We'll find Pokemon over there." He pointed to a patch of grass near a group of trees. "Pokemon like to hang out in tall grass like that," he continued, "Usually you'd just walk through it and wild Pokemon will jump out and attack you, but if you're ready you can send out a Pokemon and battle it. Perhaps you'd like me to show you how?"

Xion laughed nervously. "Yeah... I guess that would be the best way to do it," she said walking over to him, "I'm sorry about not being much help."

"It's fine. I was the same way when I started out," he said walking to edge of the grass, before he slid his backpack off one shoulder and began to rummage through the main part.

"Now what are you looking for?" she asked, tilting her head, "I doubt you'll find new Pokemon in your backpack."

"I know. I was looking for..." he before pulling out his PokeRadar, "This." He smiled to her before turning it now and checking for some rare Pokemon.

"And that is?" Xion continued to ask looking over his shoulder at the device.

"A PokeRadar," he answered without looking up at her, "It'll allow me to find some rare Pokemon. I got it as a gift from... What? No way!" He looked up and quickly dashed into the grass as his PokeRadar beeped, stratling a wild Turtwig that was laying in the grass. "Alright," Link said pulling a Pokeball of his belt, "The PokeRadar was right. There was a Turtwig here." He smiled as he tossed the Pokeball and said, "Go Riolu!"
