"So Ani, do you have any news on what may have happened when the last Kage Summit ended like it did?" he asked softly, referring to the event that lead to the death of the previous mizukage who was also his teacher and good friend, "I know information on that tragic event is sparse at best but I assigned you to it because I know your skills and competence are well suited for it." he said by way of explination.

 Anirian Sannin Returning Within the center of the town, Zaine was already inquiring of her disappearance, though he seemed to be masking it behind the cover of a mission. Something which was more preferable, that and she was doing something like that for a small period of time anyhow.
"Mmm... Zilch. Whoever did that knew what they were doin'," the woman answered with a brief sigh. She probably could have done something back then, had she been there to assist, but she had remained to defend the village, until some others returned. Then her departure was soon to follow.

Okami led the children towards the ramen shop crossing paths with Zaine and Anirian but, he did not notice them at the time as he led the children,"All you can eat ramen of the kids choice please sir."

"I see.." Zaine said with a frown, "Well good work Ani, I appreciate you trying your best, I will deposit the money in your account and you can pick it up at your leisure kay?" He said with a smile, "So how does the village look Ani? Has much changed since ya last saw it?" he asked brightly, he knew if she wanted to talk about her dissapearance she would, and he would not be the one to force it from her.

Anirian Sannin Returning It was strange. Anirian noticed the presence of Okami again. He hadn't done anything to suspicious, though she couldn't help some kind of thoughts. Was she being followed? More than likely just some kind of paranoid delusion.
"That's quite appreciated," the sannin answered simply, looking about. It seemed... Happier here. "Considering it hasn't burnt down, it's looking just grand." A quick jab at the current leader, but nonetheless, it was all in good humor.

Zaine scowled playfully at the jab, "Ouch, though I doubt an old lady like you could do better." he said wickedly, chuckling a bit and watching Okami run off with the kids. "So Ani, how does it feel being back though?"

Anirian Sannin Returning "Coulda been, but you know how I dislike the limelight," Anirian laughed, looking over. She was keeping an eye out, though what she was looking for was lost even to her. "It's nice to be here, though I miss the snow already."
A little hint to let the current mizukage know where she had been for a little while.

"Didja get a fair amount of snow in the Land of Iron then Ani?" Zaine asked with a chuckle, he had his own sources but he would leave it up to the sannin to try to agree or attempt to dissuade him into believing somthing else.

Anirian Sannin Returning "It was... pleasant, kiddo. It was certainly a good way to keep hidden, for the most part," Anirian answered. The current mizukage may not have been at fault, but nonetheless, she wasn't going to snap. "People left me alone there, and the samurai are quite nice." The amethyst eyes settled upon Zaine, setting herself upon a nearby bench.
"So aside from runnin' this place, what have you been up to?"

"I bet it was." Zaine said sagely, nodding to the woman as she continued, smiling a bit at the slight accusatory tone of her voice he waited for his turn to speak, "Well not much else really, training the gennin, promoting, and taking missions so we don't go broke, the usual ya know." He said with a laugh.

Anirian Sannin Returning It seemed that Zaine found humor in her accusations, and then moved to detail the general outline of a kage's duties. It was so invigorating, she was certain, but she couldn't help it. A chuckle escaped from behind a hand which was now covering her mouth, for masking emotion outside a mission wasn't something the girl preferred.
"I'm glad you can stand the mundane, couldn't have been more glad not to be 'round here when they were appointing the new mizukage," the woman laughed. Despite the glances she received, even now she enjoyed being here. Home.

Rei looked briefly at a scene nearby, but paid them no heed as she found Okami eventually. "I'm not horribly picky. I guess I'll just have whatever Mishiama is having." She said to Okami as seh turned to wait for Ace to catch up. Somehow she had run ahead of him. She looked down and fixed the chakra shooter, which had been slightly jostled out of place while she ran.

Ace hung from a window upside down. "Sorry, I took the high way." he laughed awkwardly. He had his hands behind his head and looked at Rei skeptically. "How'd you get my name?" he asked, but then shrugged it off, changing his focus on what he was going to eat.
"Uh.. Lightly spicy Tonkotsu ramen, extra meat and a lot of green onion, oh, don't forget to put light pepper into the meat!" he said like it was part of his daily life, which it was. "Is that good enough for you?" he asked Rei as he dropped down and flipped to relieve stress from his fall, landing in a crouch and standing up, looking down at Rei. "Ah. You're short."

"Because before several people around her ecame to me with complaints of things going missing." Rei sadi fatter-of-factly as seh glanced at him. She nodded confirmation to the man that she did want what Ace was having, then sighed. She raised an eyebrow and frowned. "I'm aware, what's your point?"
