Aphismet knew to expect the visit, but he figured it would be for the best if he didn't inform Rivener. Just like back when Delia had visited, although this time Aphismet doubted things would end on such a friendly note.
Lucia had written an apology to the chef a while ago, and she was now coming over to apologize to Rivener in person... While Aphi found himself unable to really hate the girl, he still didn't quite trust her. He'd be watching the Raevans while they interacted, just to be sure. She might try something again, but more than that, Aphismet worried about Rivener's reaction. Ever since the incident, Riv had been increasingly aggressive. It was winding down now that his wings were out of the bandages, but they still hadn't regained their strength after being forced into stillness for so long. Riv seemed to be trying to appear strong and tough, something Aphi easily saw through: the Scorpion had been wounded much more than physically by what Lucia had done. Sometimes the chef wondered if his ward would ever really recover? Or would Rivener think he needed to prove himself stronger than anyone else until someone finally took him out?
The white-haired man sighed, running a hand over his face. He reclined on the sofa, foot twitching up on the coffee table. The wait was almost unbearable. Thankfully Riv wasn't in the living room to see him act like this: the Scorpion was up in his room, as he was most of the time. Any minute now, that doorbell would ring, and who knew what would happen after that?... Aphi ran his hand over his face again, groaning. He just wanted to get this over with.

Lucia sat in the car at the bottom of their driveway just chewing on her lip. Ty was waiting to pull in until she gave the okay, not that he had a Gaia driver’s license, but it didn’t really matter to him. Getting used to driving on the other side of the road hadn’t been too bad. A few screams and one close call later, there they were.
The Kitten was frantic. If talking to Delia had been nerve wracking, this was just ridiculous. She hadn’t slept the night before, partly because that was her schedule, partly because her insides kept moving, her throat was tight, and she felt like she couldn’t settle down. She went out to the car and decided against going. She brought the present back in the house and paced the living room.
Then she had just given in. Fine. Whatever. Let’s just go. She got back in the car and they had driven two miles before FUUUUUCK I FORGOT HIS BAG!! They turned around and went back home. Where her I don’t wanna go. started again. Finally she went back out to the car, bag in hand, and climbed into the passenger seat.
The entire time Ty had just sat in the driver’s seat waiting to go. When she was ready, he knew, she would get in the car. The entire story the night before had been hard to listen to. He didn’t know what to make of this girl, but she had a sass about her that showed through the anxiety and sadness occasionally which he just adored. She wanted his support and protection today? She would have it. Rei encouraged their spending time together, getting to know one another. So he said ******** it and went along with it.
Waiting for the go-ahead to drive up, Ty was just looking around. Pretty creeeeepy, thought the Australian. He brushed his blonde hair out of his face and looked at the Kitten whose ears were flat back against her black tresses. ”Ready?” he asked calmly but firmly.
The color seemed to drain from Lucia’s face as she looked at him, and slowly nodded. ******** ******** ******** ******** ********. She was panicking. As the black rental BMW drove slowly up the drive, Lucia closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She didn’t open her eyes as she slipped her left hand in the gift bag’s handle and placed her right on the door lever. When the car stopped and the engine was turned off, the frei blindly opened the door and flew out.
She heard Ty walking slowly over to her, but she didn’t move other than to close the door. It wasn’t until she felt Ty’s strong hand on her back did her violet eyes open. She lead them to the door, but her protector was only a step behind her.
Lucia took a deep breath.
”Come on, girlie,” he said with a reassuring tense of his hand.
Before she could think about it, she reached her hand out and rang the doorbell for a full second before releasing it.

Aphismet would have startled had he not heard the car pull up. As it was he still jumped in his seat a little bit, the tension getting to him already. One final sigh, one final run of his hand over his face, and the chef was on his feet and walking to the door, opening it with a forced smile that dropped in nervousness almost instantly when Lucia appeared, the girl's guardian replaced by some blonde man. "Ah, uh... Lucia, hello. Come in." Aphi was clearly ill at ease, defensive... He attempted another smile with more success, although it fell just short of his usual warm grin. "I, ah... Riv and I are the only ones at home right now. I didn't tell him about your phone call, and he doesn't know that you were coming over... I thought he might try to just leave if I told him. He's up in his room. ...How did you want to do this? To be safe, I th-think I should be in the room when you talk to him. Just to be safe." Though to make sure who was safe from who was left intentionally vague.
The chef's chocolate eyes finally alit on Ty, Aphi offering a tentative hand to shake. "A-and you are?" Aphismet asked.
There was a pause between two songs, and Rivener had heard a car door closing outside. Now who could that be? Isi didn't drive, and Alex was slated to be gone for a few hours still... did they have visitors? The Scorpion removed his large headphones, throwing them onto the covers of his bed as he stood up from where he'd been reclining lazily. He floated to the front-facing window and peered down... A black BMW? Who did they know that drove THAT? Riv cocked his head to the side. "Hn." Maybe Ethan? Seemed his style. Maybe Vyn was here! A smile stretched Riv's features and he hurried to his bedroom door, throwing it open and bellowing to the floor below.
"Aphiiii! Whose car is that?"
"Sh-s**t!" the chef swore before he caught himself, flinching. "Ah, uh... What should I do?" he turned to Lucia, wondering if the girl wanted Riv down here or if she wanted to try and go up there...

Lucia held her breath as she waited for Aphi to open the door, which he did after only a moment of regret and wondering if she should just go home. Aphi’s smile dropped to a nervous face, and the kitten didn’t know whether to feel relieved that she wasn’t the only nervous one or more frazzled that he couldn’t even fake it. She smiled a forced hello in return. She floated in to the house slightly upon being invited, just to leave room for Ty. Her chest fluttered and her tongue seemed tied. As she tried to reply her mouth and throat were too dry to respond. ”Uhh-“ she squeeked.
The Australian’s bright green eyes rested on Aphi. He didn’t seem hostile towards the frei, but Ty resolved to be on the offensive anyway, just in case anything happened. The young man didn’t know how wise it was for him to hide the meeting from Rivener. He held out a hand in return to shake it and firmly shook the chef’s hand. ”Hello” he said, his accent clouding his speech. ”I’m Rei’s brother, Ty. It’s nice to meet you.” He didn’t think that Aphi was retarded, as Lucia had told him, but he’d have to judge as they went. He paused when they heard a cry from the floor above. Here it goes. His eyes rested on the Kitten and he waited for her reaction.
Lucia paled again and reached for Ty’s hand. ”Why don’t we stay down here. I don’t want to corner him, but I want Ty to be with me.” Her eyes cast towards the gift in her hand. She had an idea. Maybe this would help.
”Aphi can you do me a favor? Can you give him this bag?” she reached into the bag and pulled out the letter she had labored over. ”And after he’s seen everything, let him read this letter?” She took a breath and closed her eyes. It wasn’t easy to say what she murmured next. ”Then if he’s okay with it we can talk. If not—“ she opened her eyes. The violet orbs were filled with hurt at the idea, ”If not we can go.”

Aphismet knew Rivener must be getting impatient at not getting an answer. The chef fretted, glancing over his shoulder and half-expecting Riv to appear there on the stairs, wanting to know who was here... "It's a friend of mine!" Aphi called back, before the Sigel could ask again. Dark brown eyes turned to Lucia then, softening with concern for the girl. She seemed so nervous.
Aphi took the offered bag, nodding lightly. "Alright, I'll take the bag up. You two just wait down here." With a final smile, the white-haired man turned towards the stairs, heading up to Rivener's room.
Rivener had bought into the explanation easily, figuring that if it was a car Riv didn't know, chances were it'd be someone he didn't know. The Scorpion returned to his bed, flopping down and putting his headphones back on. He had only just closed his eyes when a hand on his shoulder drew his attention.
Aphi was in the room? The Sigel frowned at his guardian questioningly, sitting up and pushing the headset around his neck. "What is it?" he asked, glancing at the bag Aphi carried.
"This is for you!" the chef announced, a slight tremor of nerves in his voice. "Here, can you open it now?" Aphismet held the letter in his other hand, ready to give it once the gifts themselves were opened.
Rivener raised an eyebrow, suspicious about the motive behind sudden gifts, but he reached for the present anyway. He was never one to refuse a gift after all. "Who's it from?" he began pulling things out as he spoke, unraveling thin colored paper from around the items.
"A, uh... friend."
Both men's eyes focused on the gifts as they were revealed. First was a dark, stylish shirt in tones of black and red that had Rivener whistling in appreciation. "Niiiice," he breathed, nodding. Next was a long leather coat, matching the shirt with its dark colors and zippers all over. Rivener grinned. Whoever bought him these must have asked someone what the Scorpion liked, because these were all great. A small box revealed a ring next, black with a red stone, looking somewhat like the one Zul had gotten him. Riv slipped it onto a finger; it fit where there'd been no ring before, great! Lastly was a pair of armbands looking so much like Zul's gorget that the Scorpion was nearly fully convinced these were gifts from Zul himself. "These are wonderful!" Riv said with a wide grin, admiring the gifts strewn across his blankets. "Who's it from, seriously?" He turned curious red eyes to Aphi.
The chef wanted to look happy and enthused, but by the way Riv's grin was slowly dissolving Aphi knew his smile was not very convincing at all. "Here," Aphismet said, giving over the letter. "That's from the giver. Read it."
Rivener frowned as he took the envelope. He didn't like where this was going. Something told him he should take the ring off, so he slipped it off the finger and put it back into its box, placing the thing on top of the coat. The Scorpion folded open the letter and began reading, Aphismet watching on.
Early on in the reading, Rivener's face settled into a stony mask. His eyes fell to half-closed, his lips drew into a thin line, and he barely moved saved for his pupils following the lines of text. It was beyond Aphismet to guess what the Sigel must be thinking...
And just like that the reading was over, Rivener folding the letter back up calmly. He got up and headed for his desk, searching only a moment before finding a pen. He bent over to scratch something slowly onto the back of the letter, and returned to the bed side.
Carefully he folded up the coat and the shirt, putting them back into the bag. He put the ring in next, then put the armbands in, fingering them for only a second longer. On top of everything he placed the letter. His face still set and stony, Rivener hefted the present and held it out for Aphismet to take. Once the bewildered guardian took the thing, Riv simply lay back down on his bed, pulling up the headphones and closing his eyes.
Aphismet got the message: get out. He sighed and shook his head, returning downstairs with the bag. It felt heavier, probably because of how heavy with meaning it had become... "I-I'm sorry," the chef muttered as he handed it back to Lucia.
On the back of the note, in Rivener's handwriting: You can be as sorry as you like. I have the right to hate you. R.

Lucia almost broke down in front of the two men when he saw Aphi walking back down the stairs alone, gift in his hand. She closed her eyes and sighed heavily, slumping down towards the ground like she had right after the attack. She looked at the note that Rivener wrote and handed it up to Ty silently. Her hair was in her face as she took a breath raking through her body and shrugged her shoulders dejectedly. She felt like she was stabbed. After all the effort and everything that Zul had said to her, it didn’t matter that she didn’t do it. He still hated her. The frei backed up and leaned against Ty’s sturdy legs. She stared silently, looking close to a doll as she stared straight ahead.
Ty stared at the note for 10 seconds. That was all it too for his anger to flare towards the other raevan. Lucia had shown him the gifts. Explained how much time she put in them. And she had shown him the letter. After everything she had put into the apology and, from what both she, Rei and Alex had said, the little fault that she really had with the whole situation, for him to not even hear her out was bullshit in his eyes. It was one thing to be mad, or even hate her. But no MAN completely ignored a LADY who was trying so hard to apologize. Especially after the relationship it had seemed like they had.
Ty’s hand rested on the frei’s shoulder. Even as she said they would just go, he stopped her. This Rivener should hear her out. It annoyed Ty that Aphi just accepted his raevan’s decision to be an a*****e, but Aphi’s “parenting” wasn’t the issue here. ”Lucia,” he said softly kneeling down to her level. ”I think you should try to talk to him. He’s right. He has the right to hate you. But you never said he didn’t. And he should hear you out.”
She wanted to crawl in a hole, but what Ty said did make sense. She didn’t say he couldn’t hate her. She just wanted him to listen. The frei’s eyes cast up to Ty as she gained a little strength from his reassurance. Lucia didn’t do it. Zul had told her. So it wasn’t fair for Rivener to HATE her. To not even listen to her. To send back the things she had worked so hard for.
The kitten’s ears slowly moved upward. He should hear her out. ”Is it okay if we go up and I try to talk to him?” Her voice was weak, but she swallowed hard a few times and took a few breaths.
As Aphi indicated that they could go upstairs, Ty nodded at him. ”I’m just looking out for her,” his accent didn’t hide that he had every intention of looking out for the frei. He followed the frei as she timidly went up stairs, leaving the bag by the door. He watched as she slowly ascended the stairs and stopped in front of Rivener’s room.
”Go on.” he said as he reached his hand out and opened the door.
The only way that the frei went through the open door into a room she had been in on her two previous visits was with the gentle pushing hand of Yuu’s brother. She stalled in the doorway and then took a breath and floated into the room, noting that Ty was right behind her. He, she noticed, could be an intimidating presence himself. He was well toned, and currently was staring at the Sigel, sizing him up. ”Rivener?” she said, looking at him.

Aphismet wasn't about to refuse the poor girl the chance to talk to Riv, no matter how that would turn out. He nodded and stepped out of the way, motioning for them to go up... Ty's explanation was unnecessary, as Aphismet would have had it no other way. Yuurei's brother was doing a better job of being a guardian than Yuurei herself had been doing, the chef thought; or perhaps it was just that Lucia herself was treating Ty like her guardian, where she'd only ever held contempt for the blonde woman who raised her.
The trio walked up, Aphismet tagging along for safety just as he'd stated before. He didn't need to point out which room was Riv's, Lucia already knew that quite well. She hesitated in front of the door and Ty opened it for her, gently urging her inside.
Rivener was still reclining on his bed, arms under his head, eyes closed as he listened to the music. He'd turned the volume down after Aphi left, wary of this very thing happening. He didn't want to be caught by surprise. The Scorpion heard the doorknob clicking open, he heard Ty's prompting voice (who was that?), and he heard HER. He supposed he wouldn't have the luxury of just pretending he hadn't known she was here anymore.
With a deep sigh, Rivener stood up from his bed, once again nudging the headphones down around his neck. He crossed both arms over his chest and leveled a stoic, stony glare at those purple eyes. He would have normally flared his wings out already, but months in bandages had stymied that reflex; he kept the sharp wings tucked against his back, rustling only slightly. "What." His voice was calm and monotonous, obviously not impressed with the visit but not angry or hateful either. Not yet anyway.
Aphismet stepped into the room and to the side, somewhere between the two Raevans. He wanted to be able to jump in if the unthinkable happened and the two floating half-people attacked one another again.

Lucia almost turned and left the room when she saw the look Rivener gave her. He could hate her all he wanted, even though it wasn’t her fault. But he needed to hear her out. Ty’s words kept repeating in her mind. Zul’s words were mixed in there too. Any friend would know it wasn’t me – that I feel the regret and sadness, the rest was from Brian Sparks. She kept saying that to herself. So busy with this mantra, she didn’t reply to Rivener at first. She just looked right back, not angry, not sad, just trying to remain calm.
The frei almost wished Zul were here to scold him, not that he would. Or Ty would start yelling at him, not that he would do that either – she didn’t think at least. Instead Lucia took in Rivener’s appearance. He didn’t look bad. But he didn’t look good. The usual charming smile she so often saw was gone. The Kitten bit her lip and chewed on it softly. He didn’t move his wings much. She remembered watching herself break them.
A soft sigh was the first sound to escape her lips since he looked at her. ”You have a right to be mad,” she started in suddenly. She didn’t know where to go with it. Zul, she knew, was his friend. Maybe his words would help Rivener. ”Zul said that anyone who was really my friend would know that the depression and the self-hate I had was from me. Everything else that happened—I’m very sorry for. I’m sorry I couldn’t do anything to stop it. But it wasn’t me. I didn’t want to hurt you, Rivener.”
Ty looked at Lucia a little proudly. He had made a point to treat her like he would a niece. He understood how hard it would be for her to talk to Rivener. She was doing well. He brushed his blonde hair out of his eyes and lay his hand on Lucia’s shoulder. Even if she didn’t need protection or anything, he could be there for support. And Rivener had better act like a gentleman, he thought, looking at the sigel. He didn’t like the looks of this one. He might have to give Lucia tips about meeting the right kind of guys.

She stared at him, and he stared back, both a neutral mask of nothing for a while. Eventually she bit her lip, then sighed. Rivener assumed that's when the talking would commence, and he was right: the kitten went on to apologize, pretty much stating what had been written in the letter, adding a little bit about Zul and her being depressed... mentioning the demon only served to remind Rivener that she'd had Zul's attention to herself half the time while Riv was injured, stealing away the Scorpion's most wanted, most important person on top of proving him to be weak and brittle. His wounded pride lashed out like a monster, and had any aura-seeing Raevan been present, they'd have been witness to quite a spectacle. The only outward display of his inner rage was the slight darkening to his red eyes.
Okay, so maybe the attack hadn't been HER fault, really. Maybe. MAYBE. So she said. And so Zul would probably say. But Rivener couldn't bring himself to forgive her anyway. It was THOSE hands that had broken him, it was that flimsy little girl's body that had mauled him nearly to death. Her with her thin arms and delicate frame. She'd beaten Rivener and he'd not been able to do much of anything to stop it. Even thinking about it now nearly drew tears of frustration and loathing to his eyes. He should have been able to stop it. He should have been able, but he hadn't been, and it was all HER fault. So maybe she hadn't been in her right mind, maybe she'd been possessed by some ghost in the spirit world. But it was her fault she'd been in the Spirit world to start with!!
"You said he possessed you in the spirit world. Why were you there in the first place?" he asked, eyes narrowing.
Aphismet was glad he hadn't just attacked the Frei, but Rivener was by no means warming up to the situation... The chef's eyebrows settled into an uneasy line. This might be a problem...

”It’s something I can do. Some power or whatever.” Lucia spoke softly, staring past Rivener at the wall behind him. Her fingers came up to absent-mindedly play with her bell collar. She didn’t want to go back to that world. Not now not ever. She didn’t know if she should tell him—but she had been opening up to Zul so much lately that she didn’t really know what her boundaries here should be.
”Ever since I can remember I’ve been able to see spirits here. People and animals that have just died. And, when you found me when we were infected, I had just accidentally gone there – to the spirit world.” She blinked slowly a few times, purposely not thinking about what happened after he found her.
”It’s like your wings—your stingers. If you knew you could heal or harm people with them, but never did more than know it. If you knew it was possible for you to fly, but you never used your wings to really do it.” The frei didn’t know why she wasn’t explaining this well.
Lucia glanced to the side. The room was as she remembered. Though she would bet that her picture was no longer his computer’s background. ”It’s something I can do. Somewhere I can go. I didn’t go there planning to get possessed by Brian. It just happened. Like in Durem. If something bad happened with those guys you were with. It’s not like you’d plan it. It just would happen. Only what I’m doing…it’s not even a bad place. There are some great people there. All the spirits I’ve helped. They’re there until they become angels.” It wasn’t like she could easily explain the spirit world to someone who didn’t know anything other than ghosts.
”I went there, but of course I didn’t plan on getting possessed. But that’s what happened. I-I told you, if I could change it I would.” Lucia bit her lip briefly before she licked her lips and blinked innocently at the Scorpion. Her hair lay around her shoulders as she looked up at Rivener. ”I’m sorry.” Her voice trailed off softly as her pools of violet stared at him.
Ty watched the older raevan’s responses closely, ready to step in if he needed to. Lucia seemed to be pouring her heart out to him. If he didn’t respond at all, he wasn’t worth it.

Rivener scoffed, turning his head aside. She could do it, she could do it... But why HAD she done it? Did she have a reason for going or was she just being curious? She didn't seem to say, and Riv grit his teeth at having to listen to her recount her wonderful fluffy-fun adventures in the god-damned place. Apparently it was all rainbows and butterflies there apart for this one time. And this one time, Rivener had paid for it along with who knew how many other Raevans, as Lucia proved too weak to deal with the situation she'd been put in.
"Tch," the Sigel spat lightly, refusing to look at the girl. Even if this wasn't her fault, even if she was sorry, even if she'd change it all if she could, Rivener just couldn't forgive. Not yet anyway. He clung to his anger like a protective cloak, tightening it around himself. If he lost it now, if he had no one to blame for what had happened to him... Rivener would just feel too lost. He wasn't prepared to deal with any of this just yet.
"You can't expect me to forgive you just like that. You come here and tell me all this crap about how it wasn't your fault, and what, you think I'll just start smiling and go Oh, okay, it was just a big misunderstanding, yay, let's have a teaparty? ...Get out of my room. I need to think. I'm not ready to face you. Get out. All of you."
He was shaking. The grip he had on his arms, crossed as they were, was beginning to hurt. Red eyes remained fixed on the wall to the side, glowering darkly. She shouldn't have the right to come here and make Rivener try to give a crap. She shouldn't have the right to not be at fault! It wasn't FAIR! And whoever had done this was GONE now, and Rivener would never have closure... He'd never be able to lash out at the one who'd hurt him, get even, and move on. It wasn't FAIR.
Aphi just sighed, running a hand through his hair and taking a half-step towards the guests, expecting them to exit. He'd follow on their way out.

In the long second while Lucia just stared at Rivener, Ty crouched down so that he was at eye-level with the pretty one in the room. ”We should get going,” he whispered loud enough for everyone to hear what he said.
Lucia didn’t know what to do. So, like any woman – or at least like her, she harped on the word that frustrated her. ”It’s not crap. I don’t expect you to do that. But I do expect you to treat me like a raevan. A raevan who ******** up. I know it’s not going to be a ‘You almost killed me but it’s okay because you’re sorry’ situation. I know it sucks for you. But trust me, it sucks for me too. I—“ She stopped herself from saying I attacked you.
”He attacked you because of how I felt about you. Trying to hurt you, but trying to hurt me too.” Her vision was clouding as her amethyst eyes were covered in a sheen of tears she tried to blink back. Thinking about it brought back the emotions for her. She had been so scared, so terrified. She couldn’t believe what was happening. And – she remembered wanting to just die. Or for Zul to kill her. Instead he had killed Brian.
”Zul killed him, you know. So—“ she licked her dry lips. ”So it will not happen again. And I am sorry. Please take the things I made. They’re downstairs. I won’t take them home. They’re for you. They don’t make up for anything. But I figured you’d like them. Goodbye, Rivener. I hope we can talk again.” She tried to force a smile, but it didn’t work very well. So instead she shrugged her shoulders at the older raevan and glanced down at the floor. Taking Ty’s hand, she lead the pair out of his room and downstairs to wait for Aphi.
”You did very well up there. He seems hurt. But this is a start.” In all honesty, Ty didn’t think he’d deal with it the way Lucia did. He’d probably just move on. Find another girl to play with – or whatever these raevans did. Lu obviously cared about this Rivener guy.
”I talked to my friend Delia first – I told you I attacked her too. It was similar. It’s going to take everyone time. And some may never forgive me.” She shrugged. ”It sucks for everyone. Nothing I could do then. Nothing they can do now. It wasn’t my fault but someone needs to be blamed. And how can they trust me?” The Kitten sighed softly. She had a few friends still. Zul and Pasha were more important to her than ever right now.

Rivener's glower darkened as Lucia continued to speak. She was only repeating what she'd said before, with different words. What the hell for? Did she think it would help matters if she kept repeating the same stuff? Rivener just wanted to be alone damn it, he didn't want to hear her voice anymore!
At last, finally, Lucia said goodbye and left the room. Rivener just growled, turning his back to the door and rustling his wings. He felt... he felt violent. He wanted to ******** hit something, kill something. He needed to lash out! All this sharp, spiky pain was radiating from him, trapped inside his own body, and he needed to destroy something to let it out. But what could he do?...
Aphismet followed Lucia and Ty out when they left the room, closing the door behind them. Rivener was upset, of course, but he'd held himself civil enough. Perhaps the Sigel was maturing somewhat... Aphi could remember a time when Rivener would have just tried to poison everyone in the room, and screw explanations. A very sad smile tugged at Aphismet's lips.
"...You did do well, Lucia. I'm sorry things were so unpleasant, but maybe they'll get better someday." He didn't raise his hand to pat her shoulder, but Aphi offered a smile and a nod. "Thank you for trying to apologize to him."

The Kitten smiled slightly at Aphi’s praise. He was okay, she decided. ”Maybe you can give these things back to him when he’s in a better mood?” The frei sighed softly. ”Thank you for letting me at least start this. It’ll take time, but maybe some day we’ll be okay again.” She shrugged again and, screw it, she thought, cautiously wrapping her arms around his ribcage in a brief hug. ”Thanks,” she said softly while she hugged him and then she let him go.
The frei looked down. ”I’m all set, Ty.”
”Me too!” he said with a grin. Ty held out his hand to shake Aphi’s. ”Nice meeting you.” He jerked a nod at the man as he opened the external door and let the frei go out first. ”Have a good one!” He said shrugging at the other man.
”Bye Aphi.” Lucia called out to him from beside the car and smiled slightly with a gentle wave. She felt good – not because of how things went, but more because she actually was able to talk to him. She didn’t chicken out. She sighed again as Ty got in the car and started it. ”Let’s go home. AND REMEMBER TO DRIVE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD!!!” She shrieked slightly as he began driving on the left and then jerked the wheel of the sleek car to the right side of the road.
