Azar was glad to finally be able to wander around and stretch her legs and not feel like she weighted a million pounds. Not only was she excited at the idea that she could wander around and start fighting again, her and Khin'del were doing well and it was now time for her to raise and teach her cubs. She was pretty excited about the idea of it yet at the same time she was nervous. She wasn't exactly sure about how it was going to go. She never had raised a cub before! Was she going to be too rough? Was she going to be too mean? Was she going to be too nice? Was she going to be able to give all of them attention there was a lot of them! She was so unsure.
But at the second she was going to take a few to herself get out of the den. They were taking naps right now, she had already brought them home for their father to meet she wasn't too sure how she felt about them but she was hoping that they were proud because she was. She hadn't had a chance to talk to her mother or her father about it yet. he was hoping that she could talk to one of them soon or for that matter one of her parents would come see her. She had heard that her sister Zii was going to visit soon she was excited for that for sure.
She flicked her tail around as she moved out of the den and looked around, taking long strides making sure to stretch each of her limbs and take the time to wander. She smiled softly as she looked back before settling not that far away from the den perched up on a large rock, it was nice to feel the sun against her dark coat. Oh, she was happy.

Khin'del was slowly headed towards the den - walking at a leisurely stride, as if time had no meaning at all. It seemed the little brood he'd sired was finally coming out of the 'constant need' stage where they'd hold their mother a constant prisoner. Azar was just lucky he was kind enough to provide her with food. At least that is what he'd told her often enough. He would have brought it anyway. But yes, now they were certainly a little hardier. A part of him looked forward to Azar's parents meeting them. Khin'del was proud - they looked like true enough Firekin, despite his outsider blood. They would be strong, and no doubt win their grandparent's admiration.
"It seems the prisoner has made bail~" Khin'del mused when he spotted Azar.

Azar flicked her tail around once more before the approaching paws Her ears flicked to the side as she looked over and saw the approaching male. She stretched forward some before snorting at his comment. She still got annoyed at him at times but he did had his moments that kept her around although some times she wasn't that sure of what to think. She wanted to smack him some times but she kept her paw down. At the second she was focused on raising her cubs that was the only thing on her mind for now. she was glad he was there but at times she didn't know what to do with him.
She rolled her eyes before looking back at him. "I guess you could say that. I got them to take a nap so if you go in there be quiet." Her voice was commanding she didn't want to have to put all of those cubs back to sleep she would get really frustrated if that was the case she had fought really hard to get them to sleep in the first place.

Indeed, they never seemed to like to sleep all at once, and the moment one woke up, it would undoubtedly initiate a chain reaction.
"Awww~ but you know I live to frustrate you," Khin'del purred with a grin. "Now, what if I was just to stuck my head in there and shout~~~" Khindel did just as he said, playfully holding out the last word, fully expecting the panicked reaction of a rudely-awakened-spawn-fearing mother.

Azar glared at him, this was one of those times where she wanted to smack him. She got up off of her feet before growling and shaking her head. "Khin you better not." She grumbled trying to be as quiet as she could. She just couldn't help but to feel more and more frustrated. She listened to him as he talked she couldn't believe it was he really going to do this.
She launched forward and tackled him as she let out a hiss of a 'shhh!' She could feel the frustration flow through her. Was he REALLY doing this? She huffed as she backed up and then growled at him a little more. "I swear to the gods Khin' I'll have you watch all of them and I'm going to go take a nap." She dug her claw into the ground as she shot a glare at him.

Khin chuckled, "And I bet they wouldn't be one ounce of trouble for dear old dad."
Khin was in good spirits. Once could tell by his playful manner. Well, one that could tell his happy playful from his competitive playful or his "I'm going to mess with your mind and screw you up" playful
"Surely they haven't been that bad-" 'As to put in in a foul mood?' Khindel said, then continued in his mind.

Azar huffed at him before sitting back on her haunches and shaking her head. "They don't care who you are two of them want to run out of the den while two are crying because one was in their nap spot and a few others are happy." She moved toward the den looking in for a moment and then smiling softly as she noticed that they were still sleeping. That made her feel a lot better.
She sighed before shaking her head. "Nothing that I can't put up with, but I fear them getting worse." She laughed slightly before glancing at them. "I like them though. I've never been prouder."

"Oh, I doubt they'll get too bad. They are new to the world and hardly know what it is to live, to sleep, to eat,...they only know want, desire, and satisfaction. A child's mind is a simple one-" Khin went on as he laid down at the den entrance, forepaws crossed. "-Simple demands patience."
And Khin'del was a walking abundance of patience,..and knowledge, though he often came off as arrogant,..and he was! He fully accepted his arrogance.

Azar shrugged before glancing at him. "I never said it really bothers me. It is a little annoying at times especially when you aren't around to help." She looked at him and sighed. "They can and will get worse we have had a family of trouble making cubs two of my sister, one of my cousins and one of my brothers." She laughed slightly before looking in the den then shrugging. "And a few of my neices and nephews too."
She looked at him then sighed she was too lazy to get up and she was getting tired of being the one who was having to get up to go to him. Her ears flicked around as she listed for her children's sounds. "I'm excited for them though." She giggled slightly then stretched out as she was thinking. "I look forward to raising them."

"Heh," Khin del smirked, "My baaaaaad~ I guess then we'll have to hope that they take after their dear ol' dad who would never even cause the slightest peep of trouble. Not even if it were to bring about the most hilarious of sights~"
Yep. They were doomed to trouble making cubs.
It ran on both sides of the family, after all.
Still, Khindel didn't thins it was anything he couldn't handle. And the pride as a whole should be able to handle some mere cubs.
"Well, you keep on with the raising. I'm going to take a nap."
And with that, Khindel let out a great yawn and lay his head down on his paws, promptly falling in to a deep slumber.
