Well i've read, and i dont know about everyone else but there is going to be a Mass Effect movie. Legendary Pictures have brought the rights to the movie, and apparently the screenplay is being done by Mark Protosevich who was behind the adaptation of I Am Legend. http://www.i4u.com/article34466.htmlAnyway thoughts on this, and who would you like to see cast?

This is fairly old news. And chances are it'll go the same way the Halo & BioShock movies did.
But whatever happens, I hope it doesn't happen.

Hm I wonder where they'd go with it if they did a Mass Effect movie. Maybe if they took it out in a different area than Shepard's hunt for the Reapers, going more in-depth with the other races and space life? With all the choices Shepard can make in the game it could be conflicting if they wanna make a movie completely on the direct events in the game - unless they let you choose between Renegade/Paragon choices in the movie as well xd

Halo turned into sector 8...
But it is still on the "to do" list...
Max Payne = best damn movie out of a game ever?
The game already was made in such a way that the story was told as a movie...

There was Doom as well while we're talking about movies based on games, I thought it was an awesome movie at the time especially the bit before the ending. I watched it again some years later with some friends and everybody seemed bored, and well it 'did' seem to take forever to get to any of the good stuff the second time around. Not to mention it lacked some of the really hardcore Doom enemies and such.
Ah and there's Silent Hill too! That is one of my favorites. I thought they did a good job with that one.

What if they somehow put in a male Shepard and female Shepard? Not that I think it would turn out quite well, but it sounds like something someone would try to do.
