The Land of Beasts
This is the land where powerful beasts live, beasts that have control of their chakra and can even speak in some cases. Extraordinary creatures, living in villages just like regular villagers. If you make the journey to this wild, foreign land, you could meet the animal that you have an affinity for, and create a Summoning Contract.
Here are the rules. When you want to have a summoning jutsu, you have to come here and RP obtaining the contract. This is something that CAN be done alone. However, PM LonelyxSky before you start.
Also, here's how summonings are going to work:
Learning Summonings is just like learning jutsu. If you can learn a jutsu of a certain rank, you can learn summoning jutsu of that certain rank. The number of summons allowed, however, differs from rank to rank.
If you are a Genin, you may only summon low level creatures. The number of creatures that you can summon at this point is 2. They are generally a C-rank jutsu, but sometimes you earn B-rank jutsu through missions. Your summoning can only know 1-2 jutsu.
Chunin, however, may have up to 4 summonings. These are also generally B-rank, but one can be A-rank. The B-rank creatures can know 3-5 jutsu.
Jonin are different, as they may have up to 5 summonings, and one can be an S-ranked summoning. The A-ranked summoning can know 6-9 jutsu.
Kage/S-Ranked ninja can have up to 6 summonings, 3 of which can be S-ranked summonings. These can know 10-12 jutsu.
D-ranked Summonings!
Yes, this is completely possible. You are allowed summons at D-Rank. HOWEVER, these summons know no jutsu, do not attack, defend, or fight in any way. They are generally very small, too, and are used for purposes of DISTRACTION and GENERAL CUTENESS.
