Andromeda was one of three girls and seven brothers, that had always taught her to stand up for herself despite some of her gentle brothers attempting to protect her and smoother her. She couldn't allow that, to her it was important never to appear weak, never to allow anyone -especially her brothers- from walking all over her. Yet at the same time she would do anything to keep them safe and happy. They where family, and even if they bugged the crap out of her from time to time she really did love them.
Shade was no exception, even if she wouldn't tell him. Her older brother -by about ten minutes- was born in the body of a Lion like their father while she a Fox like their mother but that had never bothered her, she still liked to play fight with him and annoy him about the girls he stared at or wanted to date. It was just what siblings did, but Andromeda had made it her business to annoy Shade as much as possible.
Stalking through the field, blanketed in the darkness of night she found him eating his latest kill. Skulking about in the long grass she lowered her body into a pouncing position before.....

Small fuzzy gray ears heard his sister approach but he chose to ignore her. A few seconds later, he was on the ground rolling because of his sister. Shade shook her off and returned to his feet with a smile. It was his turn to pounce and when he pounced, he didn't hold back. His claws extended from his soft paws, scarring the ground. A pink tongue darted from his lips to lick away the blood around his mouth. He bowed down to the ground which was his pouncing position. A little head start would probably help his sister but not for long.

"Gotcha!" She called before scurrying to her feet and pounding the ground as fast as she could as ran away from him. Shade would come after her -she was sure of that. But he had to catch her first.
She fiented left and then darted right, turned in a circle and then jumped left. She may not be as strong as her brother but she was a lot faster. Perhaps it was just a result of her being born a Fox and him a Lion? Either way her blood was bubbling with the thrill of the chase. She probably would have been scared if it was anyone other than her brother about to chase her.

Shade smiled to himself as he lowered himself down in the grass, he was sure that she would stop once she realized he wasn't chasing her. Once she returned towards where it was they were last together, he would trip her and pounce again. He was a little too cocky to be smart about his plan. His fur was sticking above the grass and his tail was swaying back and forth.

For once she didn't hear the familar breathing of someone chasing her, and so instinctively turned to check. Shade was lazily sitting in the same spot, apparently not seeing her worthy of a chase. she padded softly towards him again but kept her distance before taunting him. "What's up big brother? Worried a girl is going to beat you?!"
