Fyulisi was starting to become less sneaky in her attempts to wander away from home. Now she was officially a huntress, she didn't have to stick around home just because mom or dad said so. Not that she had really listened all of the time before, of course. She was barely old enough to hunt, though, so she didn't talk too loudly about it.
She didn't go very far this time, sticking well within the borders but farther out than necessary. Today, Lisi was not trying to explore but was trying to work on her hunting. Grandma Shani had promised to help them like she seemed to do for everybody but she wanted to be ready. She had to show up all the boys, especially Barafu. He was a cheater and she knew it, even if he wouldn't admit it! She wasn't sure how you cheated at hunting but she would be ready for it.
.. if only she could actually find something to hunt.

Biskuti kind of failed at hunting. She knew the excuse of being new at it would help hide the fact that she was terrible. She was too fidgety to hold still long enough to not alert her prey. So she continued to try to hunt, but she didn't think she was really going to turn out to be one at the end of the...not day, but she knew what she meant.
Her ears perked forward as she recognized that black and cream coat. A little hard not to, when it was your own sister.
"Lisiiiii~!" she called out, awkwardly making her way to her sister. It wasn't quite running, but it wasn't a stroll, either.

Feeling huffy after a bit of searching for something to practice on, she was startled out of a scowl when she heard her name called out by a very familiar voice. But she didn't feel guilty for wandering away this time, she was grown up, haha! And it was only Biskuti, she noted, when she turned. It made her smile again, though.
"Hi!" she called back, waiting for her sister to reach her rather than making it easier on her and meeting her part way. She couldn't help but snicker at the way Biskuti jogged toward her, "What are you doing out here?"

Biski tilted her head to the side, curious. She perked up when Lisi replied, looking quite happy herself. When she had gotten close enough, the brown lioness plopped her rump down and took a breather. She probably wouldn't be that great of a "support" hunting lioness if she couldn't even keep up a good run.
"I was thinking of asking you the same, but then remembered you're much better at this hunting thing than me," she breathed out with a grin, feeling her lungs slowly relax as she resting. "Whew. I can't keep up with any of this. I thought I'd give it another whirl, but now I'm not so sure."

"Aw! Don't say that," she said, hopping a cheerful circle around her sister before taking a seat directly beside her- she was definitely feeling energetic. "You need practice, I need practice- I can't even find anything to hunt," she grumbled, glaring out at the area around them before looking back to Biskuti with a small smile, "It's easier in groups, right? That's why everybody does it together? Want to practice with me? That's why I'm out here."
She didn't bother mentioning her desire to show up the boys, but she knew the more she got her sisters to help the better it would be. Maybe they could get Lebue and Mawingu later, too. Or that might be too obvious..

Biski blinked, looking at Lisi for a prolonged moment. "Really?" Yeah, sisters were always there for each other, but she thought it was obvious that she wasn't very good. Like, really obvious. Of Lisi still had some faith in her, than Biski shouldn't be giving up on herself quite so quickly.
"Okay," she nodded quite excitedly. "Maybe we can work this out together." And maybe Biski could get a little more confident about her hunting 'skills'.
"Umm...what do you want to look for to hunt?"

"Of course," she said confidently, narrowing her eyes and looking out around them again. There wasn't anything she could see to hunt here, there wasn't anything she could smell either but maybe she wasn't trying hard enough. She made a face after some quiet contemplation of the question Biskuti asked.
"I don't know, there just isn't anything around," she grumbled, "We could try to catch some birds but they can fly away, ummm..!"
What all out here was there that they could hunt? Could they practice sneaking up on a herd without actually trying to hunt or was that dangerous? They had to find something, first.
"Can you see or smell anything?"

Biski's ears perked up, seeing if she could hear anything. After a moment, she giggled and shook her head. "No, nothing." Instead of just giving up, though, she trotted off a bit, much closer to the border than she had been before. At least, not when it was just her, and her sister. She tried to not let it freak her out; she had hear too many spooky stories that were probably all fabricated anyway.
"Hmmm, maybe there's something here?" she said, pointing at something that resembled a trail. "There's a faint scent, maybe it's still around?" Whatever it was, but hopefully it wouldn't be *huge*.

Lisi got up to her feet while Biski investigated, hesitantly leaning down to the ground and making an effort to sniff out some prey herself.. but she was quick to lift her head again when suddenly her sister had found something. She smiled and walked over carefully, like she might disturb the trail if she moved too quickly.
"See? You're good at that," she said, then leaned down to see if she could smell it too, "Hm, ok, let's see where it goes!"

Biski smiled. Like, a real smile. Could she do this? Only time would really be able to tell, but at least she was developing some sort of confidence in this. If she could help at least a little bit, that would mean everything!
"Alright. Hopefully it won't lead too far outside of the lands, but we won't know 'til we see!" She paused, feeling a little silly. "Um, would it be ok if I took lead? Once we find it you can call the shots." Her tail swished behind her, muscles tight with excitement. Hopefully she'd be able to keep her cool long enough to help catch something this time!

"Of course, you found the trail to follow, you get to lead the way," she said brightly, inching back to get behind her sister to physically demonstrate that Biski was the leader and not Lisi. Honestly, she wasn't sure she smelled the same thing as Biski anyway so it was better this way!
"Let's go find out what it is!" she said excitedly.

Biski nodded, letting her nose guide her. She didn't think it would be too far off, but she didn't have the right amount of experience to make a real judgement. Instead, she'd just go with it. At least she wouldn't be alone in case it turned out to be nothing and she was stuck in a strange area. With the two of them nothing bad would happen.
She was thrilled to be helpful, and only hoped that this would turn out into a great hunt!
