as the Doctor entered the Brigadier's office, the Brigadier himself was buisy with a phone conference "yes, well make sure that the system doesnt have problems next time ... alright" he said as he hung up and the Doctor took a seat "trouble with your computers?" the Doctor said as the Brigadier shook his head "no, just power failiure becouse of some of our new scientists who dont know what there doing" he said as the Doctor leaned in "is that what was so important for me to leave the TARDIS in the middle of repairs?" the Doctor said as the Brigadier just look at him "no its the manner of your situation with U.N.I.T." he said as he got out a few files "you just leave one day and dont show up until ten years later and with a new face and you just walz around the place, not even having a remote sence of responcibilaty" he said as the Doctor just put his hand on his chin "yes but it also said i never resined, so i still am a member of U.N.I.T. as your Scientific Adviser ... so yes i can just walz around thank you" he said as the Brigadier smiled "i must say Doctor ... this new you is rather cheaky isnt it?" he said as the Doctor just sat back "im still geting used to it"

the Brigadier was sitting in his chair when a soldier came in and saluted "sir ... we've gotten a report that there've been an unnatural disterbence at sector 12" he said as the Brigadier stood up "thats that accadamy not far from here" he said as the soldier looked at him "shall i alert the Doctor about this sir?" he said as the Brigadier looked at him "no i think not ... probably a school prank ... still best a look" he said as he put his hat on his head "im heading to the headmaster there to have a chat" the Brigadier said as he walked out to the accadamy

the Brigadier was in his office with the bandage around his shoulder and accedentaly spilled some water and cursed under his breath 'blast this shot wound ... the Doctor still wont tell me what happened ... nor have i heard from him'he said in his mind as he hooked at the door and saw a shadow underneeth "who's there?" he said

the Brigader waved her in "now miss Tyler what can i-" he said as a soldier came in "what is it Paterson?" he said as the soldier saluted "sir ... the Doctor has said that he's going to be away for a while ... a place called Hollow Bastion" he said as the Brigadier looked at him and nodded "Hollow Bastion? ... i know where that is ... that'll be all" he said as he turned to Rose "as i was saying miss Tyler what can i help you with?"

the Brigadier looked at her curiously "and miss Tyler how do you know our scientific adviser?" he asked

the Brigadier chuckled "yes alot of people have" he said as he looked at her "as you heard he's at a place called Hollow Bastion ... cant exactly control his commings and goings but if your realy wanting to see him then ... well i supose i could have one of my men to take you there"

"no not at all ... any friend of the Doctor's is always welcome in this establishment ... after all he was part of the reason U.N.I.T. was made ... helped found it you might say" the Brigadier smiled as he pushed a button for the speaker "Lt. Ross ... could you come in here?" he said as a soldier came in "sir?" Ross said "Lt. could you escort miss Tyler here to the town of Hollow Bastion? ... she's a friend of the Doctor's" he asked him as Ross nodded "of course sir ... this way miss, i'll take you to the him in one of the jeeps in the garage" he said
